What an exciting time to plan such a special day with the person you love! My favorite thing about being in the beauty industry is being able to be a part of such a fun and memorable day! I've been a hairstylist and makeup artist for over 12 years and am fortunate enough to say I truly have a passion for what I do. Prior to opening my salon and traveling wedding team, I worked as a salon educator for Moroccanoil as well as for many designers in the fashion world for both New York Fashion Week as well as New York Bridal Fashion Week. We are so grateful to the team from Beauty by Alexis Karedes for making everyone look and feel their absolute best on our wedding day in May 2025. They exceeded my expectations and helped everyone feel confident, beautiful, and completely ready for the day.
Melissa was our hairstylist and did a fantastic job with hair for myself, two bridesmaids, both of our moms, and our flower girl. She arrived on time, was warm and professional, and listened to each person's vision. During my hair trial, Melissa quickly noticed that I wasn’t loving the half-up style I initially requested. She thoughtfully transformed it into an updo that felt much more comfortable and aligned with what I wanted. She took notes to remember the changes and recreated the look perfectly on the wedding day.
Sarah was our makeup artist and created a beautiful, natural, and glowy look for everyone. She made each person feel welcome in her chair and helped even those who don’t usually wear much makeup feel comfortable and confident. We all especially loved the airbrush makeup, which looked flawless and lasted all day.
The entire team was talented, kind, and easy to work with. We are so thankful they were part of our day and highly recommend Beauty by Alexis Karedes to any couple looking for expert hair and makeup services!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Alexis and her team for my wedding. Alexis was our hairstylist and Cindee was our makeup artist, and together they made me feel more beautiful than I ever have.
From the trial to the wedding day, both Alexis and Cindee were incredibly thoughtful, professional, and attentive—always checking in to ensure everything was just right. On the day of the wedding, they made a few subtle adjustments that truly perfected the look. I received compliments on my hair and makeup all night long!
Four of my friends also had their hair and makeup done, and each of them said it was one of the best experiences they’ve ever had. We all felt radiant, confident, and most importantly, like ourselves.
Beyond their talent, Alexis and Cindee are genuinely kind, enthusiastic, and a joy to be around. I’m so grateful to have had them as part of our day and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any bride looking for a team that blends artistry with warmth and professionalism.

Spectacular experience - I can't say enough good things about Alexis and her team! I am not a makeup/beauty person in my daily life, but they made me and they bridal party feel comfortable and *look beautiful* for the Big Day. It was lovely to have them be a part of the celebration! Alexis has a great business model and will follow up and answer any/all questions you may have. If you want to not have to worry about your beauty for the Big Day, this would be the team to hire! <3

From booking to my trial to my wedding day, everything about working with Alexis and her team was AMAZING. Taylor was my hair stylist and Cindee was the makeup artist and they blew my expectations out of the water. Each of them made me feel so beautiful, took the time to really listen to what I wanted and executed it to a T. I really wanted to look and feel like myself on such a big day and they both made it happen. They also did hair and makeup for my mom, and two sisters and all of them said it was the best experience they've ever had! A huge thank you to all of them for making me look my best!

I cannot recommend Alexis highly enough for your wedding!! She is so kind, she was such a pleasure to work with from our intro call to the bridal suite on Saturday — and of course, she is SO talented. I absolutely adored my bridal hair and makeup this past weekend. My mom, my husband’s mom, and all of my bridesmaids loved theirs too. Thank you, Alexis, for making our day so incredibly special!

Taylor did an amazing job styling hair for four of us on my wedding day! She really understood what each of us was looking for and what would look good with our hair types. I chose soft curls and was impressed that they looked soft but also stayed in place the whole night. Taylor was also incredibly friendly and sweet which made the vibes great while getting ready! I would definitely recommend Taylor to any future brides!

I am so happy I chose Alexis for my wedding hair and make up. To start she is truly the nicest person I have ever met. She is so warm and bubbly, she made everyone feel so comfortable and was such a great energy to have on my wedding day. Alexis was so wonderful to work with and easily nailed my vision. During my trial she perfectly executed what I was looking for. She helped me make some detail decisions and was flexible to change my hair piece placement the day of. Every bridesmaid looked incredible and she was so patient and kind doing my flower girl's hair and make up. Alexis made scheduling and planning so easy, she helped make this process of wedding planning so easy. I can not thank Alexis enough for making me my most beautiful on my wedding day.

Alexis is one of the greatest people ever - and provided nothing short of the absolute best service on my wedding day. Every single bridesmaid and mom looked absolutely beautiful. My hair and makeup lasted all night long, and I felt the prettiest I've ever felt. Alexis is someone that makes everyone feel comfortable, is super detailed and thorough, and honestly felt like one of my girls while we were in the bridal suite. I couldn't have asked for a better H&MU artist! Not only that, but she is also my hairdresser - cannot recommend her enough!!

Taylor and Cindee were absolutely amazing to work with! From the trial to the big day, they both understood the look I was going for and they delivered! My entire bridal party looked absolutely stunning as well! They worked efficiently to stay on schedule but they made sure everyone was comfortable with their look and touched up before they left. Alexis made things so easy to coordinate and set up, overall everyone was a dream to work with!

I highly recommend Beauty by Alexis Karedes! I booked with Alexis for my May 2025 wedding and everyone looked gorgeous, even at midnight after hours of dancing. Her team was so amazing and accommodating. When I booked, I didn’t realize how long it would take to have a large bridal party get hair and makeup done, but Alexis went above and beyond to rearrange the schedules so no one had to be up too early on wedding day. She worked hard to make sure she got every question answered, every request accommodated, and that everything went smoothly. Her and her team are simply the best!!

As someone who doesn’t wear much makeup, I was nervous with trials and not being able to convey what I wanted. My trial with Diana was great, but the day of my wedding was even better. I asked for a few changes and she nailed it. I wanted a natural look with just a little enhancement on my eyes and that’s exactly what I got. Will definitely be asking for Diana again for any future occasions!

Alexis was kind, patient, and extremely thoughtful not only during the trial, but leading up to the wedding day. She really listened to me and what I wanted, and was always receptive to feedback/edits. On the day of our wedding, Alexis and Taylor spent the morning in the bridal suite and seamlessly blended with our group. Their work was stunning and personal to each person. They were prompt while also making everyone feel like they were given lots of time. I could not recommend Alexis and her team more!!

Alexis was my makeup artist for my wedding in March of 2025. We did a makeup trail 2 months before my wedding and she is INSANELY talented. She made me look absolutely breathtaking on my wedding day. Alexis was absolutely incredible! I booked with her for my hair and makeup for my wedding and felt so beautiful. Everyone was telling me how stunning I looked and complimented by hair. Alexis is so sweet and friendly and made sure my bridal party of 9 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself, all looked and felt our absolute best. Some of the girls were not as familiar with getting their hair or makeup done but Alexis was so thorough in making sure everyone loved how it all turned out. My maid of honor didn't initially love the way her hair turned out (she has hair on the fine side), and Danielle (who was doing hair for my bridesmaids) was so incredibly sweet and completely redid her hair and she felt so much better and looked stunning at the end of it. Our hair and makeup looked incredible and lasted ALL night, which was impressive given it was a NYE wedding, after party, and I was dancing the night away! I would highly recommend Alexis to everyone. I would also highly recommend doing a trial as it was so helpful!

She is genuinely sweet, professional, and incredibly talented. Her work is absolutely beautiful—she listened carefully to my vision and also made sure that my bridesmaids felt equally heard. Every single one of them was thrilled with their hair and makeup!

If I could give Cindee and Taylor more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! From the moment I started the booking process, Alexis was incredibly responsive, professional, and so kind. On the day of my wedding, They kept everything on track with impeccable timing, so I never had to worry. The best part? My bridal party and I looked absolutely stunning—words can't even do the makeup justice. I was blown away by how flawless it all looked, and guests couldn’t stop complimenting us all night. Not only was the makeup perfect, but it stayed in place from start to finish even with all the crying that happened that day! They also did my mom’s makeup, and she felt so comfortable and relaxed throughout. I truly can’t say enough great things about Cindee and Taylor. If I could give Alexis more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. From the very beginning of the booking process she was responsive, professional, and exceptionally kind. On my wedding day, Alexis was so on top of timing that I did not have to stress one bit. And when I tell you that my entire bridal party looked STUNNING, that is not doing the glam justice. I was blown away by how perfect the makeup was and guests were complimenting it all night long. Not only did the makeup look perfect, it lasted all night without budging. Alexis also provided makeup services for my mother and mother-in-law who are not big glam ladies, and she made them feel super comfortable and at ease. I cannot say enough good things about Alexis and would recommend her to any bride considering her services! Thank you for making my whole squad look and feel their best for my wedding day!

Alexis was amazing! She exceeded all my expectations for my wedding hair. It was perfect, just like I had imagined. Leading up to the wedding, we had a hair trial where she gave recommendations on what hair extensions to use and styled my hair a couple different ways to have options to look back on. She went out of her way to make me an appointment at her salon with her where she color matched my hair to the extensions, and even gave me the cutest curtain bangs. Her talent is unmatched, and she was so kind and communicative throughout the process. While doing the wedding party’s hair she listened to exactly what they wanted and everyone’s hair looked beautiful and stayed the whole day. Not to mention she lended a bottle of hairspray for one of the groomsmen to use. I couldn’t be happier with her services. Very highly recommend!

Alexis is the sweetest! Couldn't recommend this team highly enough. They made me and my girls feel so beautiful. Plus their hair and makeup, most importantly, lasted the entire day/night! They are reasonably priced and work very efficiently. The planning process was super smooth, and she was quick to respond to all inquiries. She even did a hair trial for my mom! All in all, such a great experience.

I am so happy I chose to work with Alexis for wedding hair and make up! Not only is she so sweet and easy to talk to, but she totally understood the look I was going for, got it right at my trial and then perfectly recreated it for the wedding. Sarah and Melissa did an OUTSTANDING job getting everyone ready for my wedding. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. I cannot thank them enough for their patience and professionalism. Alexis and her assistant did such an amazing job with our hair and makeup! When I originally went to Alexis for my trial, she looked at the various pictures I brought, incorporated my vision, and did a great job. She even recommended extensions and color matched my hair to help me get the look I was going for!
A couple of weeks before the wedding, I realized I wanted a different look. Alexis quickly was able to pivot, emailed me pictures showing similar work that she's done before, and put me at ease with the new direction.
On the day of the wedding, Alexis NAILED the look I was going for. Additionally, she did an amazing job with my bridesmaids' makeup. She also did a fantastic job with the groom's family, who rarely wears makeup or intricate updos, and with the bride's mother, who has extremely curly hair and a fear of anyone else touching it.
Overall Alexis was amazing, and I'm so glad she was part of the wedding team!
