Ann and her team were incredible! Me, my mom, and bridesmaids all felt amazing and they did a perfect job of highlighting everyone's natural beauty! The team was very helpful in answering all my questions leading up and were a great addition to our getting ready group on wedding day.

I had an amazing experience with Ann and her team on my wedding day! Ann, Paige, Laura, and Christy were the hair and makeup artists for myself and my bridesmaids, and they all did a great job! Ann was organized and very helpful leading up to the big day. I gave them a few tips after my hair and makeup trial, and I felt like Ann and Laura really took them into consideration for my wedding day and I LOVED my entire look! I also loved the convenience of having my hair and makeup artists be combined so I only had to work with one vendor and everything was coordinated together. I got married on a really windy day and Ann made sure my veil was very secure and wouldn't fly away! Would highly recommend Ann and her team!!

Paige and Giselle did an excellent job on hair and makeup for me and my bridal party. Everyone looked beautiful. They were very flexible. They were willing to do as many touch ups as needed during their contracted hours. Ann was very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this team.

I couldn't be happier with the experience I had with Beauty by Ann Krause. Tilly and Erica were amazing from the trial to the big day. My makeup stayed flawless through tears and sweat, and by the end of the night, it still looked perfect. My hair was exactly how I envisioned it, with every piece staying perfectly in place. We also had Nicole as a second hairstylist, and my bridal party was thrilled with everything she did, from updos to blowouts. Ann made the scheduling process incredibly easy, being both communicative and prompt in her responses. I would work with them all again in a heartbeat. Ann and her team were absolutely incredible to work with. First of all, Ann was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She was so quick to answer my questions and was extremely helpful. Paige, Giselle, and Nicole were the hair/makeup artists who worked with me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day and they were also fabulous. I loved my hair and makeup on my wedding day and so did all of my bridesmaids!

Cannot recommend Ann enough! Ann is incredibly professional, thoughtful, and caring right from the initial consultation. She worked with me on executing a type of hairstyle I wanted and after the trial she reached out to see what may not have held, worked, etc. Tilly was also so great to work with! After my trial, I asked for a few changes to my makeup and Tilly absolutely nailed what I was looking for. My hair held all day, and makeup didn’t even need the touch up kit that Ann provides! My bridesmaids absolutely loved working with Ann & Tilly too!

Ann and her team were so wonderful to work with! Ann's communication and professionalism is unmatched right from booking. She is extremely responsive, organized, and was so flexible when it came to our scheduling and timeline. Also, she was able to accommodate multiple hair-styles for me to test our during my trial because I was unsure about what I wanted to go with for sure on my wedding day, which I appreciated so much. It was also very nice to just have Ann coordinating both hair and makeup rather than managing multiple vendors/schedules - she does it all! Her team - Paige, Viki, and Giselle - all did beautiful work on my wedding day. I loved my look so much and so did my bridal party! Would highly recommend Ann and her team!

I loved working with Ann and her team for my wedding! From our first interactions, Ann was so responsive, clear, and warm. She's obviously an expert on the wedding process and all things beauty, but she's also so approachable and kind. The aestheticians we worked with (Jamie did our hair, and Vicki did our makeup) were so talented, professional, and a joy to spend the day with! I knew from the moment that I connected with her on The Knot that she ran a truly great business. Ann is a clear communicator and extremely organized - I never worried for a moment about my wedding day beauty! She always responded quickly to all of my inquiries and worked seamlessly with all of my other vendors to ensure our day was set up for success. She is so knowledgeable not only about everything beauty, but also the wedding industry and was such a great resource for me throughout the year leading up to the wedding. She really knows her stuff! Ann went above and beyond to accommodate all of my bridesmaids and their schedules, and was super flexible when last minute changes to our getting ready timeline arose. Anne is perfect. I think I said as much on the day of the trial, the days leading up to the actual wedding, and several times on the actual wedding day. My biggest concern with my hair for my wedding day was the fact that it is naturally curly with a mind of its own. It was really important to me that I look like ME on my wedding day, so I wanted to find someone who could help me harness the crazy to do a curly style for the day. I wasn't interested in doing a straight style or a blow out but was really hoping to find a stylist who would embrace the natural curl, and help me come up with a style that would stay put all day but still let that element shine. Anne is 100% that person. We did a trial a month or so before the wedding, and actually landed on two different styles I couldn't decide between. One was a half up half down style with some small natural ringlet curls in front, and the other was the same but with the back in a low, loose bun with some stray tendrils. Anne came up with an incredible idea to incorporate BOTH by starting off with the half up look for the photos pre-ceremony (so first look and then the outdoor photos with the bridal party) and the move to the low bun before the walk down the aisle. This also led to us deciding to keep Anne and one of the makeup artists on for touchups up until the ceremony and I could NOT recommend anything more! It worked out absolutely perfectly, and I am so glad we had the touch up help as we battled the Chicago Autumn wind and my curly hair. The first style was so much fun and such a great vibe for the photos with our friends, and the second look with the low bun just added that extra bit of elegance for the ceremony and dinner. Anne truly made such a world of difference for our day, absolutely 10/10 would recommend!

Ann Krause and her team were fantastic - from there prompt responses to their incredible organization, from their posture to receive feedback to their ability to create a vision of beauty, I could not have been more thrilled. I have naturally curly hair and was overwhelmed by my desire to not wear my hair with its natural curl. Ann looked through my many inspo photos, helping me craft a vision during the trial. While I loved my hair and makeup during the trial, I had a few things I wanted to adjust. Ann’s team was beyond receptive to my asks, things like a lighter lip color or lighter eyeliner, reminding me that this was all for MY wedding day. By the time my wedding day came, I had placed my full trust in the team. I absolutely loved my final hair and makeup for the day, feeling confident and beautiful, but also still myself. My bridesmaids, flower girl and MOB/MOG adored their various hair and makeup styles, many in absolute awe at the way the team made them feel so uniquely beautiful. (One of my flower girls proceeded to tell everyone - and I mean everyone - about her “famous” and “cool” makeup artist throughout the reception) I could rave on and on because Beauty by Ann Krause took me from an anxious and insecure woman to the most confident version of myself.

Ann and her team are so wonderful to work with. Love that Ann coordinates both hair and makeup, so much easier than working with multiple vendors. Trust me, you want Ann’s positivity and organization for your wedding day! Ann took notes after our hair and makeup trial and executed on everything we talked about on the day of. So happy with how everything turned out out!

We had a great time getting to know Paige and Vicki as well - they were so fun! They listened to everything we wanted and took the time to get our feedback after the trial. On the big day, they were punctual, friendly, and helpful. All my bridesmaids were so happy with their hair and makeup. The whole day was flawless. I cannot say enough good things about Ann and Laura! I had multiple hair and makeup trials prior to my wedding day, and they were incredibly accommodating throughout that entire process. Ann was always quick to respond to any email or question that I had leading up to the big day. I felt so comfortable and relaxed around these two, and they captured the exact bridal look I wanted. My bridesmaids, MOTB and MIL looked amazing, and they only had good things to say about Ann and Laura as well. I would give ten stars if I could :)

I know I'm not the first review to say this (with good reason!) but wow, Ann and her team are an absolute dream to work with. Ann and Tilly were my leads and they absolutely nailed everything I had envisioned. From engagement photos to trial run to the day of, I had no worries about looking like anything but the best version of myself. I was definitely a little picky about the amount of poof my hair had (I'm not a poofy hair gal) and I think Ann was able to nail it completely. The makeup? STUNNING. No words can describe how amazing Tilly made me feel. It was exactly what I had asked for/ envisioned to the tee. PERFECT. All of my bridal party looked gorgeous, from those who wanted a full face to those who went with the bare minimum. I think everyone ended up happy despite having some very picky bridal party members. And communication wise? Ann was so on top of things, I never felt like I had to chase her down. I honestly felt like I just didn't have to worry because I knew Ann would reach out when the time came. Ann's team was also just really fun to be around the morning of! They helped the morning run smoothly and added to the fun vibes. I would definitely hire Ann and her team again. 12/10!

Can't say enough good things about Ann and her team! They did an amazing job on hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom and mother in law for my wedding. Throughout the planning process, Ann was organized, quick to respond, and very easy to work with. Everyone loved the results and both hair and makeup lasted all night long through 85 degree humidity, a windy rooftop ceremony, and lots of dancing! I'd highly recommend hiring her and her team!

Can’t say enough positive things about Ann and Tilly! From the start, it was easy and straightforward to plan both the hair and makeup trial as well as the big day and Ann made it even more special by mailing a personalized letter to my home before wedding day! My bridesmaids and my mom loved their hair and makeup. I usually prefer to do my own makeup, but ended up loving the way that Tilly was able to pull it off on wedding day! Ann’s a master with hair and it showed. I still can’t believe how she was able to match my inspiration photo in real life. Beautiful work, and so easy to work with! Ann did a great job on my hair for my wedding and was so, so communicative throughout the entire planning process. Her assistant, Paige, did great work, as well. Ann was very in tune with what I liked and the examples I shared with her, and helped put my vision together perfectly. I felt the pricing was very reasonable, too! I appreciated that Ann really used my trial run for hair as a point of feedback and an opportunity to touch base on what I liked and didn't like. Ann and her team were absolutely awesome for our big day! Ann doing hair and Giselle on makeup really listened to how I wanted to feel on my day and I looked like myself. They were both so calm and relaxed it made me feel cared for on what is a busy day. Ann was also helpful in ensuring my bridal party and the mother of the bride and mother of the groom’s needs were met. My sisters have curly hair and they have been burned in the past I’m having their hair done for occasions like this and they both loved their looks and felt like themselves. Ann and her team were so great to work with! My husband and I had our wedding ceremony in our home in April of 2020 due to Covid and postponed our wedding reception 3 times due to city restrictions. Ann was incredibly understanding even though this was something new she was also navigating. We finally had our wedding celebration in April of 2022 and the hair and makeup for the entire bridal party and moms was stunning. I specifically picked Ann for my hair and makeup because she mentioned she worked with curly hair. It was important to me to maintain my natural curl and every other vendor I came across was only willing to blow out and recurl my hair which wasn't the look I was going for. Ann did an amazing job and I received so many compliments on my hair that day. If I ever need hair and makeup for an event in the future, I will certainly reach back out to her. Not only is she professional and takes feedback well, but she's also just a lovely person to spend your wedding morning with! Highly recommend!

Ann did the hair and makeup for my entire bridal party and absolutely knocked it out of the park! We had a range of ages, hair types and lengths as well as very different personalities. She and her team managed to create an atmosphere of fun and calm for me (the bride) and most important, every one of us looked and felt amazing! I was nervous because I am someone that’s allergic to everything and doesn’t wear makeup outside of mascara (maybe once a week) BUT my hair and makeup has never looked better. We all loved the team. They were so kind, understanding and calm! I went with the air brush makeup option and didn’t have an allergic reaction!! Definitely do the false eye lashes too. They won’t ruin your lashes or anything and they are so pretty!!! I can’t recommend a better team. They were my favorite of all vendors that I worked with to orchestrate my wedding. I am forever grateful for the help and making everyone look picture perfect on my big day. I want them to do my hair and makeup everyday!!!!! THANK YOU ANN AND TEAM!

Ann and her team were incredible to work with. Ann’s coordination and communication were fabulous throughout planning! I have never been more indecisive choosing what I wanted for my wedding hair-Ann was patient and accommodating to help me feel most confident. Day of, Tilly, Nicole, Vicky, and Paige were amazing! They were thoughtful and took in each girls unique look/style and what they wanted. Everyone was so pleased with how their services! Even my 6 year old cousin who very much wanted sparkles and eyelash extensions. 11/10 recommend!
