Beauty by Chelsea Dae LLC

ix of skintones and makeup styles/preferences (from my mom who never wears makeup, to bridesmaids who wanted a more glam look) and everyone was so happy with how their makeup turned out! And on top of that Chelsea is just the nicest person, she’s exactly who you’ll want to talk to while getting ready for your wedding. If you’re looking for a wedding makeup artist you won’t find anyone more talented and kind than Chelsea!

so helpful to figure out what i liked and test how long it lasted to calm my worries, and day of she made the small tweaks I asked for and it came out stunning. The makeup lasted all day and the looks she did for my bridesmaids complimented them perfectly without being overwhelming. My mom and MIL don't wear a lot of makeup and are particular about what they do wear, and both complimented how light the makeup felt and how well she listened to what they were asking for. The original hair person she had left the salon she was using and ended up being unable to attend 6 months before my wedding - Chelsea reached out to let me know what was going on and also assured me that she had already reached out to multiple people she worked with as well to find a replacement and that I had nothing to worry about. Sure enough, around a week later she told me she had a new person booked and they did an incredible job. I knew she had everything under control and nothing to worry about. Before the wedding she sent examples of her work for the bridesmaids to reference, visuals of how to describe what they might be looking for, suggestions for skin care leading up to it, and how to show up day of with clean skin and hair. She wrote up a schedule to get everyone done and was flexible working around some different arrival times. We were done in plenty of time and I didn't feel stressed or rushed at all with her timeline. Most importantly, the makeup and hair stayed and looked beautiful through all my tears (and my mom's, and my sister's, and my bridesmaid's....) and despite the rain during our outdoor ceremony. I didn't even need to use the cute touch up kit she provided. I can't recommend her enough. She was lovely to work with and a positive and cheerful person to have in the bridal suite the morning of!

typically wears make up and doesn’t like the look when she does, absolutely LOVED the mix of a soft natural look combined with enough color that you could actually see it in the photos!! I felt so pretty and confident all day long thanks to Chelsea. I would use and recommend her again and again!!

was awesome! My bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law, flower girl and myself all received hair/makeup. The girls worked efficiently and everyone looked amazing. You won't regret choosing them for your big day!

nd helped guide me when I was unsure of the look I wanted. I fell in love with my makeup at the trial!! She killed it!! Allyssa was great discussing what would/wouldn’t look good on my hair and was very honest with me which I appreciated. I had a few notes after the trial and my hair was absolutely perfect day of!! Not only are they super talented, they were so fun to chat with and get ready day of with!! Great energy all around. My whole bridal party loved their hair and makeup looks too!!

accommodating of changes I needed to make/answering all my questions. Nikki & Allyssa did a great job styling everyone's hair and makeup. They worked quickly and we ended up finishing way ahead of schedule.

nce there were 10 of us getting ready and I didn't want such a long day of hair and makeup so Nikki also did hair and makeup on my wedding day for my bridesmaids. Starting from the beginning, Chelsea was so responsive. I booked over a year before my wedding and whenever I had questions she would always answer. I did my trial with her and Allyssa and they did such a great job! Their friendship is so evident in their work since it was such a nice flow between both of them. They were so relaxed which put me at ease! Chelsea had put together a schedule a few weeks before the wedding with hair and makeup times for all bridesmaids/moms which was helpful and I needed to make just a few edits which was no problem. The wedding day had such a nice flow. All 10 of us got ready with no stress. My mom and MIL were a bit worried about their hair (and also did a trial with Allyssa) and Allyssa did such a great job of managing their anxiety and giving them a perfect look. I wanted a few slight changes based off my trial which Allyssa and Chelsea both executed perfectly. Nikki was also awesome! She personally did my mom's makeup and I'm still getting messages about how beautiful she looked! I really can't recommend this team enough and can say they made getting ready that day 10x less stressful than I expected (there actually was no stress at all). Everyone looked FABULOUS.

le about scheduling my trial and took the time to perfectly understand the look I was going for. Both the trial and wedding day makeup were perfect and lasted seamlessly throughout the day. I would 100% recommend Chelsea!!

mpletely me as a person and nothing to do with the high quality of Chelsea’s work) and I was worried about how I’d look. When my wedding day came, she was completely open that I wanted to change some things from my trial and she absolutely knocked it out of the park and I felt the prettiest I’d ever been. It was so comforting that I could rely on Chelsea to give my the makeup of my dreams on such a short notice. She was also friendly, and bubbly with my bridesmaids and moms which meant that everyone had a good time on a day that can get long. We had rave reviews all night of our makeup! Book Chelsea for your special event needs!

and what I didn’t like. They listened and were able to create the exact looks I was hoping for but even better. All of my bridesmaids said the same and they all loved their looks day of. Chelsea and Jess were easy to communicate with, they were on time, super talented, and just all around awesome to work with.

questions I could ever have!

professionally, she helped me talk through what I was looking for! She was receptive to little changes I wanted to make after the trial and my day of make up was incredible and looked great the whole night!! Alyssa did such a great job on my hair, I showed her like 10 inspiration pictures and she saw my vision and made it happen! Chelsea provided week before and day of guides to me and my bridesmaids so we knew exactly what to expect. Her and Alyssa were on time and stayed on schedule the whole morning! I could not recommend them more!

nd efficiently together, which helped everything to go smoothly. They were all very friendly/personable and gave all of us exactly what we were looking for. They were even willing to come with us to the venue (we did hair and makeup at a nearby hotel) for final touch-ups. Everyone's hair and makeup still looked great by the end of the day, which just proves how talented they are. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you!

professional, thorough, and incredibly responsive from the beginning. She took her time during my trial and clearly documented what we had decided on for my wedding. She did a beautiful job of creating the different looks the bridesmaids and mothers showed her, ran exactly on schedule, and truly took her time to make sure everyone was happy. She created a variety of looks, and all of the girls were glowing. She achieves a natural glam look in a way that I have never seen someone else do. She started our wedding day off right and created makeup styles that lasted all day long. I could not be happier we hired Chelsea for our wedding day, and would highly recommend her.

more beautiful version of myself. As someone who does not typically wear a lot of makeup, that's exactly how I wanted to feel. Chelsea was very organized, sending me a schedule well in advance of the wedding day. She worked with me to revise the the timing too. She and Allyssa were efficient, finishing well ahead of schedule. In addition, she provided me a complimentary touch-up kit, which definitely came in handy. I would 100% recommend Chelsea to anyone getting married on the CT shoreline!

out for you so you even have a schedule for the day of. For me who likes to know exactly what is going to happen, it really helped! I knew just how to plan my day. They were very professional and fun to be around and talk to and our hair and makeup came out looking so nicely!! After the cake smash I thought my makeup would look awful, but everyone said it still looked good, so I think Chelsea did an amazing job! I loved the little touch up kit I got as the Bride, too. So sweet!!

wedding in CT from FL but, they made it seamless and easy making time for me to video chat since I wasn't able to do an in-person consultation. They showed up at the venue giving us plenty of time to get ready without feeling rushed. Each girl had a different style of hair and make up they wanted and they accommodated everyone perfectly.

day-of make-up began at 5:30am (woof) but she was so positive about it. Even though there were 8 of us total, she was way ahead of schedule the entire time and made everyone feel the most comfortable. I rarely wear make-up in general, but the look she created for me was absolutely perfect! I've never had so many compliments in my life and my make-up lasted way into the night!

fident she understood what I wanted. She left me with a great touch-up kit, so I looked great all through the night (apparently that isn't standard as i found out at another friend's wedding). My bridesmaids and mom were also impressed and enjoyed the experience, I highly recommend working with Chelsea.

f how to prep our skin for the day of. She was even able to accommodate a day of request for an additional person for us which I greatly greatly appreciate. I can't recommend Chelsea enough.

ion to detail, knowledge, and experience succeed expectations and she made the overall experience and process so easy! Myself, my bridesmaids, and the moms all looked so gorgeous. I would recommend Chelsea for your makeup needs!

to her natural makeup looks and booked her services as quickly as I could! Chelsea and Alyssa (hairstylist) we’re AMAZING. They were very patient with me during my hair and makeup trial and answered all of my questions! They arrived on time on my wedding day and were extremely efficient. Chelsea and Alyssa made me look and feel so beautiful! My hair and makeup stayed put all night long, despite humid weather and nonstop dancing! If you’re getting married in the NY/CT area, absolutely go with beauty by chelsea dae!!!! I can’t recommend her bridal services enough!!!

ring my trial, they both were able to look at 1-2 photos I provided and create exactly what I was looking for. Since I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup, it was important to me that I still looked like myself on my wedding day. They both did absolutely amazing and my bridal party and I were all so happy with how we looked on the big day! This was my first time doing airbrush makeup and I will not go back. They were so helpful leading up to the wedding when questions arose from bridesmaids about hair and makeup styles. They were very punctual, neat, and so personable to work with and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a hair and makeup stylist for their wedding day!

thing in there). Everyone looked amazing, and stayed really well throughout the long day- even through all of the happy tears!! I would definitely recommend her!

me look and feel so beautiful. I highly recommend Chelsea to anyone looking for a makeup artist.

professional and also managed to keep this nervous bride at ease ahead of the big event. My girls (some of whom have been bridesmaids many times) said their hair and makeup was some of the best they've ever had done. Chelsea and Allyssa too their time during my trial, answered all my emails where I changed my mind over and over again and took time and care with every single bridesmaid. My mom who never gets hair and make up done was glowing with confidence at the end of the day. They are kind, professional and incredibly talented. Thank you C&A!

ea did everything in her power to stay up to date on what she needed to do for everything so that my day was perfect. My entire bridal party opted for a more natural look and everyone was thrilled with how their makeup turned out. Allyssa also did a perfect job with all of our hairstyles. It was a warm day for the end of September and we did a lot of sweating and dancing, and all of our hairstyles held up for the entire night. They also left us with these cute touch up bags that were so handy throughout the night! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re thinking about hiring them for your event, do it!

with all of our crazy last minute changes. Every one of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup and I couldn't have asked for anyone better!

and moms' hair and makeup looked absolutely beautiful and lasted all day and night without a single touchup! My hair and makeup was just so perfect - they really understood what I wanted! I can't say enough good things about Chelsea and Allyssa - they are just as sweet as they are talented!

f my bridesmaids felt they were listened to, and they looked stunning! I loved my bridal look, and was so appreciative of the extra steps she took to maintain a clean working space and tools. I couldn’t recommend her services enough and can’t wait for her to do my makeup again next year for our bigger celebration!

and a few weeks later I had my trial at her studio. Can't say enough good things about Chelsea, her communication and her attention to detail - she followed every State mandate due to Covid. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day as she did my hair and make up, truly couldn't be happier. In such an uncertain time it was comforting knowing one thing on my list I didn't have to worry about was my hair and make up! If you're looking for wedding HMU look no further! Thank you Chelsea!

otos back and the make up and hair looked beautiful in the photos. I highly recommend having her and her staff do your wedding.

n my wedding day! She and Alyssa arrived to my parent's home the morning of and made the whole day super fun and relaxing for myself and my girls. I would highly recommend choosing Chelsea for your special day!!

so helpful to keep everyone moving and on time) and she made such great conversation. She isn’t someone who just shows up and gets the job done she cares and takes the time to get to know her clients. I couldn’t be more grateful to Chelsea for the work she did on my big day. I truly felt like a princess and that was all thanks to her. Plus she made sure that all products she used were compatible with my sensitive skin and made sure with lighting and pre photos that the makeup wouldn’t be shiny in photos. I opted for a more natural look as I don’t wear makeup on a daily basis and it looked amazing all thanks to her.

h quality and gentle on the skin. She even prescheduled time for touch ups! All the girls loved their makeup, thank you Chelsea!

om a minimal glow to a full face, and she was able to accommodate each one perfectly! I was overjoyed when I saw that the first few couple of girls came out looking like complete bombshells. Everyone was so happy with her work and wouldn’t stop taking pictures of themselves! They all had beautiful natural porcelain-like faces with gorgeous eye makeup that really made them all so radiant. On another note, I was especially pleased with how my mother’s makeup come out. She has had her makeup professionally done a number of times and has never been satisfied. So, needless to say, I was worried about how things might go with her. Chelsea could not have done a more beautiful job! To see my mom so truly happy with what Chelsea had done was a gift I will cherish forever. I can count on one hand the number of times my mom has been that genuinely happy with how she looks. It is such a blessing that Chelsea was able to make her feel that way and the gift just keeps on giving in our wedding photos where you can see that joy shining all over my mom’s face. As for myself, I couldn’t be more thankful. My makeup came out just the way I had imagined. I did an initial trial about two months before my wedding and later emailed her some feed back about things I’d like to try the day of my wedding. Just simple things like maybe more coverage in some places and contour in others. Then, on the day of my wedding, she nailed it! Just perfect. Also to note, she was always on time/early, very responsive, professional and sweet. I made a ton of changes on her throughout the whole process and she handled everything with no problems. Additionally, she is a wonderful person to be around and will make you feel at ease in all of the wedding commotion. Chelsea is an all around fantastic makeup artist and I would love to work with her again!

day. She also made a few changes from my trial based on feedback and totally nailed what I was going for. A nice touch was to get a lip touch up kit so I could keep my lipstick fresh all day and night!

ffered suggestions and even let me try a few different styles. They, as well as another hair stylist Vanessa, toughed in out on my wedding day in the heat and humidity and made my bridal party look beautiful! In the end, my bridal look was exactly as I'd hoped. I also use Chelsea for other services she offers in her salon, she does a great job, is personable and makes you feel comfortable. Highly highly recommend!!

ts! Chelsea made each of us feel so comfortable and did an amazing job tailoring different looks to all of us so we felt comfortable and beautiful. She made getting ready a wonderful and relaxing experience, and our makeup looked gorgeous and lasted all night!

to all the brides. thank you so so much chelsea!

to look and Chelsea was more than accommodating. We didn’t do a second trial, but she absolutely nailed the look I was going for the day of. I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome; I felt and looked so beautiful ! You won’t regret booking Chelsea !

deciding to go for both makeup and eyelash extensions, she was so quick to answer all of the questions I had and various changes I made throughout the year. Between meeting Chelsea for my makeup trial to my eyelash appointments and the day of my wedding she was an absolute pleasure to work with and her work is outstanding. I received so many complements on both my hair and eyelashes and so was impressed with how long they both stayed. If anyone in CT is looking for a makeup artist Chelsea is your girl!

schemes I wanted, and was ready to go earlier than scheduled on my wedding day. She is a wonderful person and an incredible makeup artist. I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you Chelsea!!

anized. I loved that all her payment was available online and easily accessible. Chelsea helped to make my wedding day perfect, she even provided a touch up kit for the big day so I could fix my lip color if it smudged. She helped make a timeline for the morning and stuck to it perfectly, even a little ahead of time! Everyone looked amazing and I would hire Chelsea again in a heartbeat. I truly recommend her to anyone looking for a perfect natural glam look :)
