I‘m a New Yorker, originally from Holland who has found her passion in makeup and hair. My journey as a makeup pro started in 2012 when I first moved to New York and I walked up to a Saks Fifth Avenue beauty counter looking for a new challenge. Turns out I absolutely loved it! Then after a few years of gaining a lot of experience, I went back into fashion, but noticed I really missed doing makeup. So I started doing it on the side until I was able to do it full time for myself while learning new techniques along the way. Now I specialize in bridal, red carpet, photoshoots, video productions

able in her studio it was like hanging out with a friend. I had only one change to request which she accommodated easily. I wanted a lip focused look that was natural, leaned into the spooky witchy Halloween aesthetic we had planned, but was also special since the last time I got my makeup ever done professionally was for prom in high school at Ulta. My experience was everything I wanted and more! I felt so confident all throughout the day and felt gorgeous. My mom also loved her makeup! She hadn’t had her makeup done professionally since her own wedding in 1991 and loved her experience. I couldn’t recommend choosing Denoise to be at your side on your wedding day enough. She’s not just insanely talented but warm and welcoming and will make this part of your day go as smoothly as can be.

out exactly what I wanted, especially for my hair, and she was beyond patient with me. She is also extremely fast at texting and a very efficient communicator overall. After two trials and a ton of back and forth, she helped me figure out my dream hairstyle (that we hadn't even been able to find on Pinterest!) Denise just took my vision and invented what I wanted...it was magic! The makeup look she created for me was also absolutely perfect -- glowy yet natural. I wanted to look beautiful but still look myself. Lastly, she helped me find a second artist for my small bridal party ( I got married in the morning so we would've all had to wake up super early for Denise to do everyone's look!) I was stressed about figuring out the schedule and logistics and she made everything so easy. 10/10 would work with her again in a heartbeat and encourage anyone considering her for an NYC or NYC-area wedding!!!!

on the morning of my wedding. She even helped button my dress and helped me calm my pre wedding jitters lol. She is the sweetest person, and so talented! She also did my bridal shower hair and makeup which everyone complimented. Having curly hair has been a little challenging with other stylists not knowing how to style it but Denise was so gentle with my curls and is so knowledgeable about curly hair care, especially with the amount of heat I needed for the look I wanted. Other stylists have given me heat damage but Denise really went above and beyond and my curls sprung right back into form after I washed it.

Her work was truly gorgeous - she did an incredible job with my bridal hair and makeup, she really made it a point to understand what I wanted and the end result exceeded anything I could have imagined. Denise also went above and beyond to help my wedding party, coordinating with the photographer to ensure I was comfortable in every photo, helping my friends with their dresses, and even going so far as to set up heating when it got chilly. She was invaluable in making our special day perfect, and I would 100% hire her again in a heartbeat.
