Beauty by Design was wonderful to work with! Every step of the way I knew what was going to be happening and it was so fun to try on my wedding dress each time something had change...
d to see the progress. My dress fit me perfectly and they were able to do it all in my quick month and a half timeline. I would recommend them for your alterations needs!
I wanted a customized wedding dress because it was important to me that I had a dress that was made to fit my body. Deborah took all of my ideas and came up with a design I loved. ...
I enjoyed the entire process and looked forward to each visit where I got to come to the studio first to see her design and pick out fabric and then to try it on in various stages. Deborah’s passion for what she does shines through. My dress was so beautiful and I felt beautiful in it. I’ve even tried it on again since my wedding because it’s so fun to twirl! As someone with body issues, I highly recommend going through this process with Deborah, she helped me feel comfortable and beautiful.
Deborah’s work on my bridal gown was perfect! She is clearly so knowledgeable about her craft and was super helpful when it came time to explain options and what each might look l...
ike. The dress was finished with plenty of time and I was able to pick it up, steamed and perfect the day prior to the wedding. Would use her services again for any alterations! Thank you!
If you need alterations, this is the place to go!!! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to trust with my wedding dress!
Deborah was fantastic! I bought my dress off the rack in a size too small because the workers at the bridal store said it would be easy to take out. Deborah quickly discovered it w...
asn't easy to take out and instead worked some magic and shifted the waist down to make it fit me perfectly! She even rescheduled one of my appointments on short notice! Highly recommend working with her.
Deborah was easy to work with and very thorough at each of my wedding dress appointments! I had the most issues with the bust of my dress and straps and she got it all figured out!...
She also found a smart way to hem my dress to keep it proportional. She made sure the bustle was off the ground since it was still touching the floor after the first time. She fixed everything my dress needed YAY! Her space is super cool and she was really flexible with scheduling. It was all fab!
My original seamstress ended up getting sick a month before my wedding so I had to find a new one FAST! Natalie was so fun and easy to work with. She made sure to learn my vision d...
one for my dress and did a beautiful job! She is talented, kind, and quick. My dress turned out perfect! I'd highly recommend her!
I needed a few technical alterations completed on my very simple wedding jumpsuit in addition to one more artistic change. She agreed to take me on and charged me after our initial...
appointment. Two months later, nothing was completed and she insisted on scheduling our final fitting two weeks prior to my wedding day (two more months in the future), urging me that it would be okay despite my worries. On the night before our THIRD appointment, I received a voicemail from Deborah requesting we push back our appointment by a week. I refused and arrived the next day to an incomplete wedding outfit - she had even taken out all of our pins we had put in two months prior to mark the alterations needed. Extremely flustered, she remeasured me and haphazardly completed the alterations. I ultimately took the jumpsuit to a different tailor since the alterations she completed were uneven and done incorrectly so the garment puckered oddly. She never offered to refund me and made me feel like an extremely low priority by putting my outfit off so much. If you need a reliable and respectful alterer, she is not your person.
I was lucky to snag Deborah on a referral from a friend of mine. I booked an appointment at her open house at her new studio. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and ...
she custom made my dress from scratch. She was helpful with my indecision, and gave amazing recommendations. She made many changes to my dress and in the end it turned out perfect. I was comfy, felt beautiful and got non-stop compliments about my dress. Deborah is fantastic to work with and you will get the highest quality of fabric and workmanship from her. I recommend her any chance I get! Thank you for taking your time with me and creating a beautiful dress I will enjoy seeing for years to come!
I brought my dress to Beauty by Design to get it altered for my wedding. There were a lot of things that needed to be altered so honestly I was a bit nervous how it would all look...
in the end. My top had to be taken in and my bottom had to be taken out, which required a lot of work because of the intricate detail on the sides. In the end it all looked beautiful! The dress fit my body like a glove and I felt so beautiful in it on my wedding day. It wouldn’t have been possible without Beauty by Design!
