My bridesmaids loved getting their makeup done too and felt beautiful and were happy that the makeup was not too overdone which was a worry for some. For the wedding day, we did the same thing and it lasted all day. I was nervous at first about the airbrush and if it would make my face break out but it did not and it lasted all day through sweat and tears. We had it done at 7 AM and it lasted until midnight +. I highly recommend Joy and will absolutely use her again in the future if I need to get my makeup done for anything. She was also super sweet and we had great conversations during both sessions.

have never truly LOVED makeup that I’ve had professional done before, but at both my trial and on my wedding day, Joy knocked it out of the park. She made me look like me but so much more elevated and polished while being so sweet and relatable. She knows all of the tricks to help you look flawless in your photos and was able to take any suggestions of my bridesmaids and I and turn them into sheer perfection! My makeup didn’t budge after over 12 hours of wear and I never felt shiny or like I needed any touchups. I can’t possibly express how much I loved working with Joy and her team and how thrilled I was with the results she provided for my wedding. as skeptical of getting my makeup but when my trial came around, she blew me away. I kept saying over and over that i have never looked that good and i held true to that statement...until my actual wedding day when she exceeded all expectations. She was so sweet, easy to talk to, listened to what we all wanted and made me look like an elevated version of myself which was exactly what i wanted. From the beginning they were quick with their responses back to me from the knot and we were able to book them within a couple hours. Joy and Sammie both were great with communication and timing leading up to my trial and wedding day. I did my trial at their studio and couldn’t have been more pleased with how it turned out. They confirmed the information with me not only a month before the wedding but also the week of to make sure everything was perfect on the day of the wedding. I couldn’t have asked for more with these two. On the day of the wedding they were prompt with arrival at the exact time they said they would be. The whole day ran on time and everyone in my bridal party, MOG, MOB, and myself loved how our hair and makeup turned out. cause I wear very limited make-up on a daily basis and really don't know much about make-up products, etc. I explained to Joy that I wanted a simple/natural look but also wanted it to be special and enough for my big day. She totally nailed it. I was SO happy with it, 100% confident that it was perfect. I received SO many compliments all day. In addition, my bridesmaids, moms & flower girl LOVED their make up as well. Two of them even said to me that this is the first time they had their make up done and actually loved it. I was so awe-struck by the bridal makeup that I couldn’t wait to learn who the bride's makeup artist was. The bride (already a natural beauty) was simply stunning and looked like the very best version of herself. I don’t wear a ton of makeup in my every day so I wanted my makeup to be dramatic enough to photograph beautifully but not too dramatic where my fiancé was wondering who he was standing next to! I set up a makeup trial with Joy, which was like a spa-day come true. I felt completely pampered heading into her studio where for over an hour, she created ART on my face! Let’s start with the airbrush makeup. Joy airbrushes all of her brides – and their bridesmaids – because it gives everyone a clean and finished look. I couldn’t agree more. My skin glowed. My cheekbones popped. My breakout from the copious amounts of wine I drank the night before… HIDDEN! The best part, it’s not caked on… meaning makeup wasn’t stuck in my fine lines. Then, eyes… I love a fake eye lash but (like so many others) have NO CLUE HOW TO PUT THEM ON or what looks best. Joy walked me through multiple pairs and we chose one that made my eyes POP but I felt comfortable in (length and volume wise). Then… she added SPARKLE! I’m a huge fan of glitter (as a way to complement – not take over) so when Joy suggested adding a bit of gold sparkle to my eye lids to coordinate with the gold threading in my wedding dress, I was sold. I thought, “this woman gets me”. I liked Joy’s work so much in my trial, that I booked her to do my makeup for my boudoir bridal shoot a few weeks later. She modified my look so that it was a bit more sultry but again, applied just enough so that it came across on film. Oh, and she contoured my collar bone – once more, the wonders of airbrushing! Going into the wedding day, I wasn’t worried about a thing. I knew that Joy and her team would deliver the best makeup service possible for both myself and the special ladies in my life. Everyone walked away loving their look and felt so confident walking down the aisle. Thank you Joy for making me feel so very comfortable in my own skin and for highlighting all the right features! You truly made me feel like the very best version of myself on our wedding day!
