l was set to go! FALSE! The only artist Lex is, is a SCAM artist. She never reached out to my sister before her appointment to give the details for her make up day and ghosted her. This is extremely unprofessional and a huge disappointment. How is Lex still in business? Potential clients out there, AVOID BEAUTYBYLEXOXO (IG) at all cost unless you are okay with donating $50 to a SCAMMER!

After several messages, I decided to get my 50 deposit back but she still hasn’t responded. I should’ve done better research on her. Based on the previous review, Lex sounds like a scammer. Please don’t book her and save your money!

When we received the news, my family and I wished her well then scrambled to to find a replacement. She offered to have someone she’s worked with cover for her, but their make up styles were completely different. This set us back on so many levels. It was a complete nightmare. I showed up to the family dinner/rehearsal with red, puffy eyes. With such short notice and covid restrictions being lifted, it was truly a miracle we found a MUA. A week later I noticed Alexis (the MUA that canceled) posted many photos including make up from another wedding. After doing some social media investigating, I discovered that wedding was the same day as mine. I was livid. When my sister confronted her she blocked her on Instagram and made her page private. Shame on her to do this to a bride and her family. I can only hope she never does this again.
