MaCalah was so lovely to work with! She did my bridal trial, my cut and color two weeks before the wedding, and then hair and makeup for me, the mothers, and my bridesmaids on the wedding morning. We were all so pleased with our results, we felt and looked beautiful, and our makeup held up perfectly all day, even with rainy weather.
She was thoughtful enough to give me a little touch-up kit for my lips, which was such a sweet and helpful detail. We truly enjoyed our morning with her. She was professional, calming, and kept us right on schedule.
I couldn’t be happier with my choice. If you’re looking for someone talented, reliable, and a joy to be around on your wedding day, MaCalah is it!

MaCalah communicated with me so easily and kindly during this process. As a bride with lots of hair types in her group, I asked every question under the sun. She was patient, answered all my questions, and had examples of her work to add support. I told her old Hollywood waves, and she slayed them so hard. There should have been a back up plan on your end and it should have been handled. Thank god we love and care for our bride and were able to find a replacement. e context regarding my recent absence because I have been blocked on almost all platforms and to continue expressing my sincere apologies to the bride for any inconvenience it may have caused.
I briefly mentioned to the bride that I have been experiencing serious pregnancy complications, which have necessitated several hospital visits. Unfortunately, this situation required me to seek emergency care late at night, as advised by my obstetricians, and I was unable to fulfill my commitment as soon as I had hoped.
I fully understand the challenges that can arise when someone is unable to attend an event at the last minute. Please know that this was not a matter of simply bailing; I have always taken my responsibilities to my brides very seriously, as they are vital to my livelihood and support for my children. I am immensely grateful for the trust they place in me.
I genuinely regret that you and the bridesmaids had to deal with the consequences of circumstances beyond my control. I appreciate your understanding, and I was relieved to hear that the bride was receptive to my suggestions for alternative artists. I am glad you were able to find someone to assist.
