About this vendor
Melissa's experience, while working at MAC, has given her the education in beauty she needs to help her clients look and feel beautiful. In her 5 plus years working with the company, she has had the honor of working several events, including Weddings, Sweet Sixteens, Proms, Baby Photo shoots and more. Her experience was recognized and she was even asked to work backstage at Broadway Bares, a burlesque show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Her experience backstage has improved her ability to work under pressure, while still having an upbeat attitude. Melissa has also had the privilege of working alongside celebrity makeup artist Ashlee Glazer, allowing her to learn different techniques, several methods for creating various makeup looks and many other tricks of the trade.

She finds ways to use make up to highlight unique features of every different girl. We highly recommend her and are so appreciative of her work ethic. tores to meet artists and asked if they did weddings but the trust wasn't quite there. Then I finally found Mela on TheKnot. My first impression of her was based on her website, which I thought was great, and it seemed like she was confident, experienced and took pride in her business. All other makeup artists didn't even have a website for me to look at. I immediately contacted her and hoped she was in my price range, which she was. We did a trial and I absolutely loved her and her work. She did exactly what I wanted for my trial and for the wedding. All my girls loved her work and I received so many compliments on my makeup at the wedding. My makeup looked great throughout the whole wedding. I am so glad I found Mela and I plan to call her every time I need my makeup done. Thank you for making my day perfect Mela! I will be seeing you soon.

or my input quite a few times which I absolutely loved! I think that’s the key to feeling really beautiful, being comfortable and she made sure I was. She even asked what my outfit was like color wise so she could make sure everything flowed and did not clash between the makeup and the outfit. It felt very personal and not rushed like other makeup artists have made me feel. I would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely rebook in the future!

When we either needed to meet at the beauty store, if she was coming to my house for a demo and my wedding day, always on time. Never had to worry about Melissa disappearing and as a Bride that is something we are paranoid about lol. Always had great open communication. I highly recommend Melissa as a make up artist for any occasion. Melissa still helps me with make up advice and if I need my make up done.
