About this vendor
My name is Sofia, and I'm a makeup artist and beauty expert with over 20 years of experience. I specialize in natural looking, but photo-perfect, beauty: my goal with every client, bridal or otherwise, is to make you feel amazing in every way! I love that I get to work with brides on one of the happiest days of their lives, and believe that getting ready for it should be one of the best parts of the experience. You should love the way you feel (relaxed, confident) as much as the way you look.
Inspired by my love of fine art and all things beauty, I create timeless, natural, and elegant makeup looks that are unique and beautiful; customized for every client. How, you might ask? I am able to highlight each woman’s best features along with her natural beauty and anatomy. I don’t believe there is a place for heavy makeup or the need for extravagant transformation when you are looking for beauty and confidence.
It is important to keep in mind that the photos and videos you capture on your wedding day will be timeless and forever. They will be seen by your family, your children, your grandchildren, and your friends. And for that very same reason, creating a natural yet elegant wedding look is essential for any bride. Let's capture the memories together!
I strive to maintain the highest standards in both professionalism and technique. I am obsessed with researching new products and techniques to allow for the best possible results. In my toolbox, I carry a variety of professional grade products as well as high-end consumer products, all meticulously researched for the results they produce for the job in which they are used.
Before the final booking, I always do a makeup trial so that we can work together to capture the exact look and style that you are looking for, and to make sure that you are 100% satisfied and confident with my services.
I look forward to meeting you soon!

Sofia Bee did an excellent job with my wedding makeup and hair. I honestly looked and felt like a princess!

o know her as a person. She did my whole look, hair, and makeup. It was very natural. I felt perfect that Sofia Bee would be there for me because, as a bride, I was very nervous and wanted to make sure that I got to be the best version of myself, and Sofia Bee did what I wanted and more!
The makeup look was natural and pretty in indoor and outdoor lighting. It lasted from 3 pm to 12 am. I didn't even have to adjust or reapply anything.
I recommend Beauty by Sofia Bee to absolutely anyone. Thank you, Sofia Bee!

I did a bridal makeup trial first - Sofia Bee did my makeup. We had chemistry right away, and I knew that on my special day, I wanted ONLY Sofia Bee for my makeup!
Since my wedding was on a Friday, it was easy to book an appointment a few months in advance for makeup for the bride.
My makeup lasted all day and well into the evening until the end of our event (essentially from my appt at 11 am until 1 am the next day)! Even the tears of joy I had throughout parts of our wedding day didn't ruin my makeup. I highly recommend Beautybysofiabee (Sofia Bee) if you want to look and feel fabulous for any major event!
Sofia is an absolutely wonderful make-up artist. I have purchased two services from her: make-up for a special occasional photoshoot and a make-up class (and I was a complete novic...
e so Sofia patiently introduced and showed basic concepts to me in a logical progression). The photographs came out great and I then repeated engaging Sofia three years later. Sofia is a doll and goes out of her way to help. Now post the make-up class she is available to answer my questions. She is both punctual/professional and an extremely pleasant person. I count myself lucky for knowing her and recommend her without reservation.
