I’m sure I was a bundle of nerves when Stacey showed up for my trial (which I highly recommend doing!), but there was honestly nothing that I should have worried about. Stacey is an expert at highlighting your natural beauty; I never felt like any part of me was being hidden under heavy makeup. I was authentically me at my wedding, and that was so wonderful. Stacey also worked with me to make sure I was pleased with my makeup and hair and was happy to make any small tweaks to my look. On the day of the wedding, Stacey and her team arrived early and worked efficiently to make sure myself and my bridal party were done on-time for pictures before the ceremony. We had such a fun time with Stacey and her team, listening to music and chatting. It definitely helped me settle down before seeing my husband for the first time! As an extra bonus, my hair and make-up lasted throughout the warm June day and through all the dancing I did at the reception! I am so grateful to Stacey for helping me feel confident and beautiful on this important day.

It was important to me to find someone who could handle a large group (pre-covid) across a variety of ages/skin tones and Stacey and team really delivered - everyone looked phenomenal! I was also impressed with how fast, efficient, and organized they were. We even finished up ahead of schedule - NOT an easy feat with a large group! The cherry on top is that Stacey is such a warm, friendly person and a pleasure to be around. She even helped me with some finishing touches during pictures and when I changed for my reception. moms look stunning. I absolutely loved my look as well- I've never looked better, but I still recognized myself. Her style is more natural, which was exactly what I was going for. No heavy glam, just an enhancement of the beauty of my favorite women. A few last things of note: she was there exactly on time, was easy to pay and they did touch ups at the end of the (marathon) getting ready session so everybody left for the venue looking perfect. She's your girl in the San Diego area for any hair and makeup needs.

hen my spouse mentioned hiring someone for our Disney themed wedding, at first, I was trying to be cheap and was going to try to do everything myself. They didn’t want me to be stressed though and I can honestly say it was worth every penny. When we found Stacey, it was truly meant to be. My expectations were high, but she blew all expectations out of the water! She was super professional, super personable, wonderful at what she does, and just a great human being. She was always quick to respond and really listened to our needs to make sure that everything was perfect. There was a total of 9 girls (including two brides!) and Stacey, Tiana, Gaby, Bianca, and Kate helped us get ready with time to spare keeping the mood fun, relaxed, and just made our experience really wonderful that I will treasure for years to come. They never made us feel any different for being a same-sex couple, and just treated us like brides and made us feel like queens (or Disney princesses!). We cannot say enough nice things and thank them enough and if you book them, you won’t be disappointed! 10/10 would recommend :D

al and day-of makeup were AMAZING, somehow she knew exactly what I wanted with little guidance. It also stayed on great through the day. I had a hard time figuring out what to do with my hair and wish we could have tried a few more styles at my trial, but she did help guide me through figuring out what I wanted to do. My hair is just kind of a problem. I was very happy with it day-of! However, I could have used a little more inspiration or suggestion. But, hair was not my priority at all and it worked out great. She also brought two other girls with her since I had so many people getting hair and makeup done, and they were really great too!

t only had incredible make-up & hair skills (which she's a true pro) but to also have someone by my side who just made me feel happy! My husband and I were married over Columbus Day weekend, and throughout all 3 of the wedding events, she not only made me feel beautiful on the outside, but had a way of keeping things zen throughout the entire time. She is so easy to get along with and she truly knows how to bring out your best features while making sure you look like you on your big day! Stacey was with me throughout my entire wedding day - she was the first person I saw and she stayed with me throughout all of my photos, all the way to our evening reception. Throughout all the touch-ups, 2 different hair styles, and even going above and beyond to ensure that my dress was in place for all the photos, she is a gem. ould get their makeup done, and she really stuck to it. She was on time too! For both my engagement shoot and my wedding I ended up with exactly the makeup I wanted, which is doubly amazing because I basically told her "I dont really wear makeup or know anything about makeup, please make me look nice without making me look like im wearing a bunch of makeup?" I felt so comfortable in what she gave me - I knew I would look awesome in pictures but I still felt like myself. My two bridesmaids, who are similar to me when it comes to makeup, both mentioned the same. Stacey was also so patient and kind with my mother and grandmother-in-law, who are Spanish speakers. She was also very patient when my numbers for makeup kept changing, and even sent me some additional photos when my Mom was going back and forth about wanting her makeup done. She ended up not doing it, but after seeing me she told me she wished she had had Stacey do her makeup, she loved how I looked formal but not overly "done up". (You can tell we're real fashionistas over here....) Long story short, I absolutely recommend Stacey!

I wanted a step up from "all natural", more of a "glam" look, but I still wanted to look like myself— and she absolutely killed it. Not only is she one of the most skilled makeup artists, she's one of the coolest people (and also a cat lover which adds major points in my book). Her team was so professional, incredibly talented, and an absolute joy to work with. My bridal party looked stunning! Thank you Stacey!!!

bridal MUA. I am definitely a make-up novice/minimalist (tinted moisturizer and mascara) so was worried about being too done up and not looking like myself for my guests or in photos. I knew I wanted a natural look and Stacey really delivered - i felt beautiful and got a million compliments. Definitely do the trial run before your wedding -- Stacey will take photos and notes so she can recreate the look on your wedding day. This took a lot of stress off of me since I knew the makeup would look great and would last through the day. Stacey was also absolutely wonderful with my mom who also wanted a really natural look (she never wears make-up). She took the time to explain everything and my mom was SO pleased with how her makeup turned out. If you're looking for a hair and make-up artist for your wedding day, you won't go wrong by hiring Stacey! She will create any look you want and will make you look and feel absolutely beautiful!

ding makeup artist…I kept seeing a lot of over-the-top glam from other MUAs, and I dreaded looking too overdone and not like myself. It was really important to me to hire someone who understood the sun-kissed dewy natural look that I wanted for myself and my bridesmaids…that’s where Stacey comes in! Stacey and her team really delivered exactly what I was looking for and made me feel beautiful!!! We did a trial session a couple months before the wedding (highly recommend this no matter who you end up working with!) where we workshopped my wedding day beauty together, and she took detailed notes of all my feedback. She even checked in on me several hours later to ask how well the makeup was lasting! By the time my wedding day came around, she knew exactly what I wanted and totally nailed it! Her team also executed my bridesmaids’ looks perfectly while keeping each of their individual beauty needs in mind. Everyone was so impressed with their hair and makeup, and felt beautiful and confident all day long! Stacey and her team are professional but really FUN, they were right on time and stuck to schedule, played the best music, and made everyone feel super comfortable in the chair! What’s more, I didn’t realize how important it ended up being to have a glam squad with such a calming presence. As many brides know, getting ready the day of your wedding is generally very chaotic, and it feels like you’re being pulled in a million different directions on top of being overwhelmed about the day you’ve imagined for so long. Stacey and her team have wonderful energy and really helped center me in the hours leading up to my ceremony. Stacey is just a lovely, lovely person, and I hope I have the chance to work with her again soon! Stop scrolling and hire her before she books up!

arried May 25, 2019 in Swan Valley, Idaho. I felt so honored that Stacey came all the way to the middle of nowhere to do my makeup. I asked if she would be able to do my mom and mother in laws makeup as well. They both kept saying how much they loved their makeup and conservations. She has this calming energy about her. It was what I needed on that day as well. As a fellow makeup artist and hairstylist I am very picky about who I would trust to do my makeup and there is nobody better than Stacey. I gave her one picture of a color palette I liked and she killed it. I looked in the mirror when I was done and I was almost in tears! Everyone complimented my makeup that day. Even when I show people photos they also say how great my makeup looks. I even slept in it that night( ended up being too tired to remove) and it still looked the same the day after! I’d don’t know what her magic powers are but if you are getting married and need a makeup artist, Stacey is the one. instantly intrigued by her style. I think make-up is such a personal thing, and for me at least, it's difficult to give control over to someone else in fear of not looking myself. Needless to say, I did not need to fear anything as she did an outstanding job. Her team helped with my mom, grandma and six bridesmaids, and all of them looked absolutely beautiful too! I definitely recommend doing a HMUA trial though, just so that you can share your wishes, exchange ideas and calm your mind. She is there to make you feel your absolute best in your own skin, not to put on a mask, and she did it wonderfully. Aside from that, Stacey acts with such a high degree of professionalism, but also always with heart and a smile on her face, making it a pleasure to work with her.

I highly recommend doing the makeup and hair trial as that helped Vanessa understand the look I was going for. She totally took my feedback and nailed the look day-of. As someone who is picky about makeup, I was really nervous but I absolutely loved the result for my wedding day. The team was very pleasant and easy to work with. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because we were initially supposed to have Stacey herself and then a month or so after booking, we were told there was a scheduling mix-up. In the end, she still made sure we were set with a team of her artists, and it all worked out.

g. I really liked the questionnaire she sent out before the trial, and appreciated when she referred to a lot of my answers during the trial run for hair and makeup. She really paid attention to my concerns about my hair and skin, especially for the day of the wedding. Her knowledge is vast and her skills are impeccable. Stacey was open and communicated well the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. I had a few concerns regarding the timeline and getting all six of my bridesmaids ready on time. She was very reassuring and everything went so smoothly the day of the wedding. Stacey and Gabby did an amazing job on everyone in my bridal party. I couldn't have asked for a better team to be with my girls leading up to the ceremony. They were both so kind and so funny. I highly recommend Stacey! You will not regret it.

For my make-up, I showed her a picture of what I wanted to look like and she nailed it! I had been fretting about my hair even after I had a trial because I couldn’t decide on whether or not I wanted to wear my hair up or down (first world Bridal problems). I explained my indecision to Stacey and she was really understanding, reassuring, and willing to work with me however I wanted. As fate would have it, it torrentially rained the day of my Wedding. That made the decision of having hair up easier. I showed Stacey a slightly different style from what she had done at the trial and she executed it even better than the photo. I had a really lacy elegant gown and she did a hairdo that many people commented looked like a British Royal look (it really complemented the dress). She added in some flowers in just the right spots to further the hairdo. My makeup lasted throughout the day and evening even while we were running around taking photos in the rain! Stacey also was one of the most organized vendors I worked with. I appreciated her detailed emails, reminders, and check ins. I highly recommend Stacey and team!! Best of luck!

I don't ever wear make up, so getting my make up done has always been kind of scary. Stacey really listened to what my concerns and fears were but also played up all my best features to make me feel so pretty on my wedding day. I even changed what I wanted for my hair style for the wedding from what we originally planned during the trial. This didn't even phase her. I've honestly never felt more beautiful. Stacey also did my Moms hair and make up for the wedding, she looked stunning. We were both so happy. Stacey was so great to have on the morning of the wedding. She brings such a calm, loving vibe to the room. All my friends and family loved her. I plan on using Stacey for any hair and make up needs from here on out. I 100% recommend Stacey!

My wedding day morning was stressful and started to get a bit chaotic when people started to stop by and check on us getting ready. Stacey was just quietly getting her job done, nice and efficient. l in shock and so disappointed at how things turned out. My hair and makeup was nothing like the inspo pics I shared, and all that was promised and discussed prior to my big day, ignored. No care for timeline to ensure there was plenty of time to get the bride’s hair and make up done properly. No make-up touch ups, nothing...I didn't even get a touch up kit so I could touch it up myself prior photos which is standard when it comes to weddings - Stacey left a makeup brush with lip-gloss wrapped in tissue paper which by the time we got back to the villa to get ready for photos had dried up! My hair and makeup styles were simple (see pic attached). makeup was a natural bronzed look and hair a sleek side part with loose curls. The end result? An absolute disaster, I can't even bring myself to look at the pictures not to mentioned the little wave I had in my hair dropped before I walked down the aisle looking frizzy and dull - just awful. Stacey did very little to fix the issue, she tried to convince me to walk down the aisle with a hairstyle that was unacceptable so she could be done with the job. Our videographer had to jump in and help as she knew I couldn't walk down the aisle looking like that. After trying to fix the initial bad job for over 30min we had to wash my hair and start over. Stacey did a rushed, bad dry-off job making it worse. We ran out of time and as I was panicking trying to get dressed and make the terrible hair and makeup work, everyone in the room jumped in to help but Stacey, the person responsible, quietly left without saying a word to me, not even an apology or an attempt to make it right. She had been paid so who cares, right?! Her lack of care and problem solving caused major issues and completely ruined my day. I was late for the ceremony which impacted first look pictures with my uncle, getting ready pics with my bridesmaids and my mum, I missed out on all those moments and don't have any pictures of it! I was so upset and stressed out I couldn't enjoy the walking down the aisle and looking at my husband moments as all I could think about was the messy makeup and frizzy hair. It also impacted our cocktail hour and time for couple photos which was cut in half! These are moments you can't do over, they are lifetime moments forever tainted! I know it means nothing to Stacey s she was paid upfront but it meant the world to me. I was so stressed I don't remember walking down the aisle and only noticed I had my dress belt in the wrong way halfway through the pictures. The whole experience was devastating and I don't think she has any idea how much it affected me. She ruined my wedding day.

I asked Stacey for a sun-kissed, California girl look and she made all my bridesmaids and me look like we just stepped off the beach. What makes Stacey unlike most make-up artists (...and so, so special) is that she has the ability to create any look you wish. Most artists have one or two makeup looks they have mastered and stick to them (hence so many pictures of brides look the same). Stacey actually listens, takes notes, photos and guides you with her knowledge on how to get the look you want. She is also so funny and cool, you literally want to add her to your bridal party. After trying multiple styles during my trial, I was still very indecisive about what I wanted to do with my hair (through no fault of Stacey's - everything looked great, I just couldn't decide what I 100% wanted) but Stacey assured me we would figure it out the day of and she completely delivered. My hair turned out exactly how I pictured but hadn't been able to describe and stayed in all day/night while looking somewhat natural/loose and not too "hairspray-ey" at any time. My makeup also looked amazing and I look like the best version of myself without looking like I'm wearing an insane amount of makeup. So happy I went with Stacey for the big day and it helps that she's adorable and hilarious on Instagram as well :)

with her. She was very accommodating to my crazy schedule leading up to the wedding and helped me decide how I wanted my look to be on my wedding day. She invited my mom and me over to her home studio for a makeup and hair trial. I wasn’t thrilled with the first take so she said, “no problem!” and put it up again a second time without hesitation… it was at that point I knew she was the right stylist for me. She took all of my feedback to heart and made my vision come to life the day of. She did the same thing for my mom during the trial and had no problem adjusting when my mom decided the day of the wedding that she wanted to change her planned hair style to half up half down instead of all up. Stacey, once again, kindly smiled and said, “not a problem” and made my mom’s hair look beautiful! Stacey was also very accommodating with the modifications we had to make to our contract with my bridesmaids, mother in law, and other family members requesting to have their hair and makeup done professionally. She even brought in extra stylists to make sure we’d all be accommodated in a timely manner, without being rushed. She also accommodated our schedules and didn’t have us start until 10AM which was great so that we all could sleep a little longer and rest up for the long day ahead. Stacey and her team were exceptional and so sweet… they even left little containers of extra lip stick for my bridesmaids in case they wanted to freshen up their lipstick later on… very thoughtful! I’d highly recommend Stacey because she is professional, very responsive, truly listens and takes your feedback to heart, and is extremely talented at making your vision come to life!
