t was definitely a no brainer!! Yari has done my makeup in the past such as my quinceneria, prom and just a couple weeks ago, MY WEDDING! Not only has she done my makeup in the past but as well as my family! The process of booking with her to the morning of my wedding went SO smoothly. Yari was very communicative and SO patient throughout it all. The morning of, Yari and her team always checked in on me, asking if I needed anything, while attending to my bridesmaids. They made sure to follow the timeline and have us all ready on time! We trust her and her team whole heartedly. They made all 12 of us look our absolute best, beautiful and SO confident! There aren't enough words to describe how smoothly and wonderful everything was. What made it even more special to me was Yari helped me put my veil on and was able to stay for the ceremony. nely talented, they are some of the kindest, most humble, and most genuine people I have ever met. They are the kind of people you meet once and immediately want to stay friends with. I would recommend Beauty by Yari a million times over.
I originally booked with Yari after seeing photos of her work, and even before the wedding I already felt confident I had made the right choice. At my bridal trial, I wasn’t entirely sure what look I wanted yet, but I knew I trusted Yari’s eye and wanted her guidance on what would flatter my features. She helped me land on the perfect makeup look which was a full glam, but still soft and romantic. And she absolutely nailed it.
Patty, my hairstylist, brought my hair vision to life with extensions and the most gorgeous Hollywood wave. She even helped me color match and bought a brand new curling iron just for the look I wanted. Talk about going above and beyond!
On the wedding day, I booked hair and makeup for me, both moms, both sisters, and all my bridesmaids. Yari sent over all the skin and hair prep information ahead of time, which made everything so easy. The morning of the wedding, we had four stylists, and they took care of all of us with so much patience, attention, and kindness. They were also such a fun group to be around, which made the whole getting ready process even more enjoyable. Every single one of us walked away feeling truly beautiful. When I say we felt like movie stars, I genuinely mean it. It was unreal.
I also want to express how grateful I am for how inclusive and skilled the team is. We are a diverse group, and it meant so much to all of us that everyone’s makeup was matched so beautifully.
Yari and her team made us feel calm, confident, and absolutely stunning. They added so much joy and beauty to the day, and I will always remember how special they made us feel. We will definitely be returning for future events. Thank you, Yari, from the bottom of my heart. You and your team are truly extraordinary.

veryone looked. However, the process leading up to and on my wedding day was much more stressful and disorganized than it should have been.
All of the important information — the number of people receiving services, the venue name and address, and our venue access time — was shared early on and confirmed in writing. Despite that, I didn’t hear many questions or requests for clarification until the week of the wedding, which was frustrating because I had assumed everything was set and understood. It left me feeling like I had to manage details that should have been handled by the professionals, especially so close to the wedding day.
I even paid for an extra hour of venue access (around $700) to make sure they had plenty of time, which ended up being unnecessary since we started earlier at an Airbnb and then moved to the venue so I could enjoy the bridal suite.
On the wedding day itself, things ran behind — we didn’t finish hair and makeup until about 3:30 PM, even though we were supposed to be ready by 2:30 PM for photos. That delay caused stress and tension with the photographer, which Yari even acknowledged to her team. There was also some confusion about the address, even though it had been shared multiple times, and the overall flow of the morning just felt chaotic.
The artistry itself was beautiful, and her hair team (Patricia and Sarah) were amazing — kind, calming, and so sweet to work with. I just wish the communication and organization had matched the quality of the work, because the stress of managing those details as a bride really took away from the experience.
If you do book her, I’d recommend confirming every single detail in writing and reconfirming closer to the day to make sure everyone’s on the same page. The final result was lovely, but the lead-up was much more stressful than it needed to be.

ur experience felt stressful — that was never our intention. My team and I care deeply about every bride we work with and always strive to make the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Leading up to your wedding, we did our best to accommodate several updates to your original contract, including location change, timeline adjustments, and additional services that were added the week of and day of the wedding- (blow out, additional makeup and hair service).
We always aim to be flexible and to fulfill every client’s request, even when those details change shortly before the event.
On the wedding morning, our team arrived on time, ready to begin based on the final version of the schedule that had been confirmed. While a few timing adjustments occurred,— we remained committed to completing every service to our full professional standard. I apologize for the 30 minute delay from our agreed completion time. I reached out to confirm the timeline and location, because we did not hear from your wedding coordinator and the final timeline was never shared with us. I can see how it was frustrating for you, for us to confirm the location because the name of the venue was on the contract; but I just wanted to triple check the exact address beforehand since there are two venues with the same name in that area. The Milestone, and The Milestone Mansion. Regardless, I am truly sorry, for that added stress!
I understand how important timing and communication are, especially on a wedding day, and I’m sorry if any of our coordination added tension. We tried to pivot as efficiently as possible to make sure everyone who wanted to be styled could be included.
I appreciate your kind words about our artistry, to know you were happy with your stylists, and overall with how everyone looked. You were such a beautiful bride, and we genuinely enjoyed working with all of your friends and family! I sincerely wish you nothing but love and happiness in your marriage. Thank you again for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful day.

First off I want to say that I was a bit of a difficult customer because I do not wear a lot of makeup and I was super paranoid about the look and how well it matched my skin tone....
Yari was really patient with me (even though I’m sure it must have been annoying lol) and let me sort of settle into being comfortable with my look and makeup in general. I had a couple of makeup trials which did help quite a bit as well - as I was able to figure out what worked for me. I think every makeup look she did was beautiful- but ultimately what we settled on was what best suited me :)
Thanks to the BBY team for all the hard work! I got lots of compliments including from my husband who is absolutely not used to seeing me with a lot of makeup on!

Yari went above and beyond a few days before the big day when I had some concerns about my MIL being a little bit more particular about her appearance. Yari left me an extremely supportive and helpful voice memo about how we can approach her needs and make sure she’s comfortable in her own skin. I greatly appreciated that peace of mind.
It really meant a lot that she allowed us to add on two flower girl hair services day-of because her team had the time toward the end of the morning. She didn't have to do that per her contract, but we were grateful to her to squeeze them in.
One last note…just like you have high expectations for your wedding vendors, Yari has high expectations of her team and her bridal parties so be sure to pay on time, be on time, and be kind to her team. She runs a tight ship, but it’s all for good reason and you will LOVE the turnout. Would highly recommend Beauty by Yari for your wedding!!

er booking Yari for my bridesmaids. I reached out to her 2 months ahead of my wedding to see if she was available to fit me in to do my bridal makeup. NOT ONLY did she make me feel better about being dropped by my old MUA, she also jumped at the opportunity to make my experience better! She booked me for a trial, which was absolutely amazing, and made sure we aligned on what I wanted to look like day of. She was so communicative the whole process through.
She arrived on time (even though I changed the time to be earlier and earlier last min). EVERYONE LOVED THEIR MAKEUP! She did all 11 of my bridesmaids, my mother in law, my 98 year old grandma and my mom. Yari and her team were outstanding, not only in the way everyone looked, but they had so much fun with us.
Ultimately, I was so lucky how everything worked out. I looked amazing as a bride, my bridal party looked stunning ( they still talk about their makeup and how long it lasted!), as well as all of my family members. I will refer anyone I know and love to Yari and her team because they really do take care in what they do and it shows.

ri went above and beyond in communicating with me leading up to the wedding and even accommodated last minute changes and add ons for myself and members of my bridal party. Her team arrived on time and basically brought what felt like a whole studio to our bridal suite so we didn’t have to worry about anything!
From scheduling a trial run to exchanging messages regarding my “Wedding Inspo” Pinterest board, Yari was extremely detail oriented and offered many helpful suggestions or alternatives based on my wants, skin tone/texture, and hair type.
I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup throughout the night AND IT LASTED THE WHOLE DAY! Even when taking pictures outside in the 100+ degree Texas heat for the wedding party pictures and nonstop dancing during the reception.
I cannot recommend her or her team enough!

my trial she recommended I get a specific exfoliator, I got it and on my wedding day, my skin was the perfect texture. They did great doing age-appropriate makeup on the younger bridesmaids.
