I cannot recommend Beauty Mark Bridal Studio enough. I chose their Go & Glow package, and while I know it may seem like a splurge at first, it was honestly worth every single penny. If you’re debating it, do it—you won’t regret it.
From the very beginning, Sue made me feel like I was more than just another bride on her calendar. She went above and beyond during the planning process, even FaceTiming me to give me a tour of the studio and walk through all of my options. She took the time to answer every question I had, listened to all of my concerns, and never once made me feel pressured into spending more money or adding services I didn’t need. Instead, she helped me make decisions that were actually best for me and my wedding day.
The facial included in the Go & Glow package was the perfect way to relax the week before the wedding. Wedding planning can be stressful, and having that time to unwind and take care of myself made such a difference.
Most importantly, Sue genuinely cares about her brides. Her communication, kindness, and professionalism are unmatched. She made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish, and on the wedding day I felt beautiful, confident, and completely taken care of. Looking back, choosing Beauty Mark Bridal Studio was one of the easiest and best decisions I made during wedding planning.

Beauty Mark is proudly the exclusive hair and makeup vendor for all Lessing’s venues across Long Island and a preferred vendor of other renowned venues like Giorgio’s, Flowerfield, and Land’s End to name a few. Beauty Mark has received The Knot “Best of Weddings” Award six years running.

Her passion for beauty and makeup led her to work side by side with her mentor, Ross Burton - Oprah Winfrey's makeup artist. Today, Beauty Mark is proudly the exclusive hair and makeup vendor for all Lessing’s venues across Long Island and a preferred vendor of other renowned venues like Giorgio’s, Flowerfield, and Land’s End to name a few.

ation for a reason! Sue really goes above and beyond. I was having trouble finding a church reached out to her mother's church to inquire! Above all they completely nailed my look and made it such a fun experience! I do not typically wear a lot of make up and in the past I have not always loved the way I looked when I have had my make up done for weddings. Sue used airbrush make up which was so light! I had the right amount of glam while still looking and feeling like myself. I just got my photos back and I am so so happy with how I look! I had clip in hair extensions which I was a little nervous about but they did such a good job none of my closest friends even knew I was wearing them! ups for everyone, especially those who had to get ready the earliest. My hair stayed in place and my makeup looked flawless the whole evening, even through sweating on the dance floor. We sang and danced while getting ready and they were able to work seamlessly around our celebration. The best part may have been that they were finished 30 minutes ahead of schedule, which gave my girls and me some time to toast and reflect and have a few quiet minutes together before the day picked back up and moved forward with the festivities. I would 100000% recommend!

They worked with me from the beginning to secure a hair and make up trial whenever I was in town despite it being Thanksgiving weekend, and I was able to meet Charlie and Sophia so far in advance so by the time my wedding day came I felt so comfortable with them! Toni did an amazing job with my wedding day spray tan, Charlie absolutely killed the game with my sleek bun and Sophia had me looking fresh faced and glowy, exactly as I wanted! nd experience that preceded them. It was a top notch experience for myself and my family. We used them previously for my sisters wedding and it was a no brainer to use them again! Sue, Kirsten and Denise are fabulous. All a pleasure to work with and my wedding day was made because of the make-up and hair. Of course I had a gigantic pimple the day of the wedding that I even had a dermatologist treat a few days before my wedding and Sue covered it in a way I didn't think possible. I looked in the mirror and she said "what pimple??!!" and it was truly gone!! I could have cried I was so relieved and felt really confident and beautiful. Kirsten also wove a intricate hair vine into my hair effortlessly and everyone lovedddd it and complimented it all night. It was so stunning and I look at the photos and marvel at it. Sue was on time , professional, and did touchups on every bridesmaid, including myself before we left for the church. ls - don’t do that!!! Just book with Susan for makeup and Charlie for hair at beauty mark spa!!! Charlie is so so much fun and replicated my hair picture EXACTLY how I wanted and did it quick! For susan, it was like she had been doing my makeup for years! She knew exactly how to accentuate my best features and hide my not-so-fav areas of my face and finally, after so many trials with other MUA - I looked glam, glowy and gorgeous and - ME ! Not cakey or fakey at all!
Seriously just save yourself the time and book your trials with Beauty Mark Spa first! I wish someone had left this kind of review for me, but thankfully I found Susan and Charlie anyways! A happy ending to my wedding planning chaos.

Okay so I had my wedding! Y'all. I am the luckiest bride to have worked with Sue and Charliee. Everything I said above stays true, and additionally:
On the wedding day, they were amazing. They did everyone's hair and makeup based on my mom and sisters needs. They accentuated everyone's best features and truly transformed my bridal party into a DREAM! I know brides are always concerned that their makeup won't last, but my makeup lasted from 12pm-12am beautifully. I kept running to the mirror to check on my makeup and I never had to touch it! So save yourself time, book Charliee and Sue, and you won't have to worry about your hair and makeup on your wedding day AT ALL! I am sad my wedding is over, because I won't get to see Sue and Charliee, at least until my next wedding in LI! ;)

al babe on my wedding day in May 2022. Sophia was my make-up artist and Mary was my hair artist – they both were amazing at what they do, kind, warm and professional.
I had a ton of fun doing my trial with them (highly recommend having your fiance take you out to a fancy dinner afterwards!). I don’t think I’ve learned any new make-up techniques since I was about 16 (I’m 35..) so I went into the make-up portion completely blind and let Sophia do her thing. She was intuitive and worked wonders. I had some photos and ideas about my hair (definitely wanted some sort of braid incorporated and half-up); Mary’s result was far more amazing than any photos I had seen. When the morning of our wedding brought some unexpected drama, Mary and Sophia were so sweet, calm and humorous – the best energy to be around. They did such a fabulous job for me and my family and friends. Definitely recommend!

I am so grateful. Also it lasted throughout my dancing and sweating most of the night, which is tough because I had it styled down, but they truly did an amazing job. I would recommend them to anyone!

They took the time to get to know me and made me feel pretty for my shower and wedding day! I was so nervous on the day of my shower. They helped calm my nerves and made me feel confident for the day. On my wedding day…I was even more nervous. They played calming music for me and got me in a good headspace while they got us ready. My mom and bridesmaids loved them too! They were like my therapists. When I had a little worry or a moment they didn’t judge me…they just knew how to fix it. They even made sure I ate that morning! On your wedding day you want to make sure you’re surrounded by a good team! I really appreciate how they went above and beyond to make me feel special on my wedding day. Besides the fact that they’re awesome…I truly loved my hair and makeup! I just got my wedding pictures back tonight and my hair and makeup lasted until the very last picture! And I’m so happy to say that I didn’t have a hair or eyelash out of place the whole night! :) They will be doing my hair and makeup for any upcoming events!

you aren’t so sure. They were flexible about coming to my friends and me to get us ready, even though we were technically just shy of the minimum number of people using their services. Susan offered us plenty of useful reminders, and Kristen and Melanie were so fun to chat with as we all got ready.

. She completely understood the look I wanted to achieve for my wedding, and absolutely nailed it at the trial. She was able to accommodate my bridal party of 12 girls plus mothers of the bride/groom. Everyone's hair and make up was so beautiful, and it lasted all day. I strongly encourage all brides to pay the few dollars extra for airbrush make up- it is SO worth it for your big day. It won't run or smear if you cry/sweat, it truly conceals any of your fine lines and blemishes, and it just looks so seamless in photos. THANK YOU LADIES SO MUCH!!!!
