Very long review but I urge you to read the whole thing. I will start with the one positive- The only saving grace was my makeup artist Jay. She was professional and communicated well. She is very talented and I was very happy with my makeup. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Beauty on Location for my wedding in June. I am not a girly girl so the process of finding hair and makeup artists for my wedding was already a stressful experience for me. To start, the process of obtaining information and booking my trial was convoluted and more difficult than necessary. I had to "speak with" (email) at least 3 people before getting the information I needed. We started off rough the day of the wedding when the artist argued with me about a last minute change on which room to get ready in (down stairs living room vs master bathroom). The venue was my grandparents house and the possibility of a location change was discussed previously due to my grandfathers health issues. It should not have been an issue. Not only did this waste about 20 minutes of getting ready time but also broke the #1 rule of not stressing out the Bride. Very disappointing. Finally, more than one of my bridesmaids ended up redoing their own makeup and hair. The artists either did something completely different from what they asked for or it didn't last long enough to even get through photos let alone the ceremony. Again, extremely disappointing especially after paying ~$300 each. Maybe I'm the wrong person to ask since it is not an experience I am used to but I was very disappointed with the services provided. I would only recommend the make up artist Jay individually, not the company.

I loved working with BOL for my beauty services on the day of the wedding. They are so friendly and amazing at what they do. Me and my bridesmaids felt so beautiful on the day of the wedding. They are super communicative and will make sure you look exactly how you want on your wedding day. They take feedback well and will double-check with you throughout the process that you like your hair/makeup. Definitely do a hair and makeup trial! It was so nice to meet with my hair stylist and makeup artist ahead of time.

Beauty on Location was fantastic! Rachelle and Sam were so kind, fun, and professional. I absolutely loved my wedding hair and makeup, and it so convenient that the team came to our location. This way, my wedding party could be comfy and drink coffee/relax etc. while waiting for their time slot and we didn't have to worry about transporting a big group to a salon. Also, the timing was perfect and nothing felt rushed-- we even ran ahead of schedule! I would absolutely work with BOL again-- highly recommend! Rachelle and Sam personalized each person's look to exactly what they wanted and put me at ease my wedding morning. Thank you!!!

BOL was so easy to work with, arrived on time, stuck to schedule and did a great job for each individual in my party. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for an inclusive package.

The entire crew at BOLS is very professional and a pleasure to work with! Valerie was the artist who worked on my bridal party's hair and makeup. She did an amazing job and my do lasted all night long! My party's makeup/hair looked fabulous and lasted a long night of dancing as well. BOLS was very affordable, flexible, and friendly. I highly recommend them!

I worked with Jennifer for my makeup/hair trial and my results were out of this world! Exactly what I wanted. If I asked her to make any edits (during trial, after trial, wedding day), she was quick to do so. I absolutely loved how I looked on my big day and I highly working with BOTS!!!

Communication was very easy and the team was very responsive via email. Our getting ready space was pretty tight with my large bridal party and they were very flexible and creative with how to get the lighting and set up they needed. My girls and myself all looked and felt beautiful! Unfortunately, my hair on my wedding day was completely different than what was agreed upon during my trial. This could certainly be a dealbreaker for someone hoping to get a specific look on their big day. I also didn't like that gratuity was added to my initial service fee as I believe it is something to be given after the service based on the quality. They were okay with removing it from the fee and allowing each girl to pay gratuity individually on the day of the wedding but then texted me to call out by name the girl that didn't tip them by accident.

Choosing to work with BOL was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. The team was super responsive when booking my trial, coordinating the schedule in advance and being flexible. Audrey did our makeup and Myles did our hair. They were both INCREDIBLE and an absolute pleasure to chat with. They calmed everyone's nerves and did a wonderful job. Every bridesmaid looked beautiful and I LOVED my hair and makeup. It was exactly what I wanted and I wouldn't have changed a thing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Beauty on Location Studio was so easy to work with during the initial planning process, and I loved having the trial run for my hair and makeup. On our wedding day, Chanty and Cristela were so helpful and easy to work with, and they were happy to make a few last minute changes from the trial. We all looked and felt amazing thanks to them! I would highly recommend the BOL team for any hair and makeup needs.

I used Beauty on Location for my bridal hair/makeup and for my bridesmaids as well- the end result was amazing! They did such a great job. I personally felt gorgeous but still looked like myself which was important to me. Rachelle was my lead stylist and she was awesome - I did two trials, even changed my mind about hair/makeup again before the wedding (I am indecisive!) but she nailed every look I brought to her. I looked amazing in all the trials she did and also the final result on our wedding day, couldn't be happier! Rachelle was so sweet and easy to talk to on top of her phenomenal hair and makeup skills. Prices were reasonable/competitive, not the cheapeast out there but also not the most expensive and you get great service. Highly recommend BoL!

Beauty on Location made our wedding hair and makeup seamless! They were communicative and organized leading up to wedding day. Rachelle, Stephanie, and Sam did hair and makeup for the full bridal party and really captured each of our unique style and vision — everyone looked stunning. Rachelle was also able to completely camouflage a member of the bridal party’s black eye from a last-minute fall, which was impressive and a huge relief. I’d recommend BoL for any brides looking for convenient and comprehensive hair and makeup.

The team at Beauty on Location was so easy to work with, gave me all the info I needed before I even asked for it, and gave me the exact hair and makeup look I wanted. I really couldn’t have asked for more! Rachelle did my bridal hair and makeup along with my aunt’s makeup, and Stephanie did my bridesmaid’s and mom’s makeup. Each makeup look was slightly different to perfectly complement everyone’s features, and it lasted all night, even with all the crying! Rachelle and Stephanie were so sweet to everyone and were a joy to have in the room with us while we all got ready. These two are so talented and I will happily refer them to any and all brides I cross paths with!

We had Brooke for makeup and Jessica for hair — they are the best! On top of making me and my bridesmaids look and feel beautiful, they were both so lovely to be around, like they were just another pair of friends in the group. They kept us on track with the timeline, made sure I actually ate during the day, and were super receptive to feedback from my trial, making sure that I loved it—and man, I loved it! I felt like an absolute angel! BOL was communicative and organized from the jump, so we knew we were in good hands. They made the process super easy, and I would definitely recommend.

Beauty on Location did an absolutely fantastic job for my wedding! Jessica did my hair and makeup while Brooke and Stephanie did the bridesmaids and I cannot emphasize enough how great of a job they did!! My makeup was absolutely flawless and my hair was even better than the pictures that were used as inspiration. Jessica made sure everything was perfect and exactly how I wanted it and I was absolutely blown away at the results! It was literally perfect. All of my bridesmaids looked absolutely incredibly and could not stop talking about how it was the best professional hair/makeup they've ever had. They all had updo's but everyone was unique and different (and there were 7 of them!) All 3 girls were a blast to work with and I would 1000% recommend them to anyone who is looking for amazing bridal glam!

These ladies were wonderful. So professional and a joy to have around on my big day. I'd had my hair & makeup trial and was not happy with how everything came out - I think it was a combination of me not really knowing what I wanted and the stylist and I simply not communicating well enough. But when I called to discuss coming in for another trial, the owner was so understanding and wanted to make sure that I felt comfortable and beautiful, so she scheduled me another appointment at no extra charge. I ended up going with a different stylist, Jessica, and was SO happy with the Colorado chic look I ended up with. That first stylist I had was wonderful too and actually also came along to do my other ladies day-of and they all looked gorgeous!

I highly suggest working with BLS for any of your wedding or event beauty services! Valerie and Stephanie did our bridal hair, makeup/airbrush, and lashes and everybody looked fantastic. They absolutely nailed what we asked for, were professional, and brought the fun as we got ready for the big day.

Rachelle and Jamie did such a wonderful job for my wedding! They did makeup and hair for my bridesmaids and me and we all looked fabulous. They really gave us the star treatment - everyone felt so glamorous and we all got lots of compliments! The entire experience working with Beauty on Location was so easy. Everyone was polite, professional, and punctual. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a glam squad for their wedding!

Cristela and Brooke were amazing as our hair styist and make-up artists for our wedding. We had 8 of us who needed our hair done and 5 of us who needed make-up and everyone looked gorgeous and Cristela and Brooke were both fun and very professional. We all looked natural but perfect for our mountain wedding. THANK YOU!

If you are looking for an amazing hair and makeup team for your wedding, look no further. Jessica did my hair and makeup along with my bridesmaids' hair/makeup for my wedding in June and she did an incredible job! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and my bridesmaids looked stunning. She was open to any suggestions/changes and really listened to what we wanted while sticking to the schedule on a day that can be quite stressful. We felt like she was one of the girls hanging out with us all day while we got ready which made the experience that much more fun.

Beauty On Location was a breeze to work with and I was paired with Jaime for makeup and Cristela for hair. They did absolutely wonderfully! Several of my bridal party gave compliments, one even said it was the best hair and makeup experience she's ever had. They even helped one of my bridesmaids with incredibly sensitive skin find makeup that worked for her.

I would highly recommend using Beauty on Location Studios for your hair and makeup for any event! I used their services for our wedding, and they did a great job. We had Brooke for makeup and Cristela for hair, and they were wonderful! They were sweet, professional, and were able to match everyone’s vision. They did hair and makeup for me, my 4 bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law. All 7 of us were very happy with how both came out! We also received compliments from other family members on how nicely our hair was styled and how natural our makeup looked. Communicating with Danielle through the online portal about scheduling, payment, etc. was also so easy! We could not have asked for a better hair and makeup team!

I highly recommend using Beauty on Location Studio for your wedding or event!! From my bridal hair and makeup trial to the wedding day- they did a fantastic job! I rescheduled my 2020 wedding and they made that process a breeze. They were very quick to respond to my emails and accommodating my many last minute changes. There was a last minute change to one of our stylist for the wedding day and the stylist who did my trial couldn’t be there on the wedding day but you would not have even noticed!! Jamie and Raquel did a beautiful job on myself, my bridesmaids, my matron of honor, and my mother! They were extremely professional, prompt, and SO fun while getting ready. Plus they traveled all the way to Winter Park on top of it all. We were so lucky to have this team help me feel beautiful on my wedding day. Can’t say enough great things!

Liz gave me exactly what I wanted, listened to me and offered so many helpful suggestions and ideas. I loved how I looked on my wedding day and in my photos! Beauty on Location did such an amazing job with me and my bridal party. I think everyone was absolutely in love with how their hair and makeup turned out! The stylists were able to accomodate both natural styles and bolder styles. My bridal hair and makeup was done by Cristela and Lena and I could not have been happier. They made me look stunning!

Beauty On Location was a godsend. At the last minute (literally the week of my wedding), I needed to find a new makeup artist. Luckily I was having a weekday wedding and not a large bridal party, but I was still skeptical I would be able to find anything that quickly. Brooke Jones was our makeup artist. She was professional, fun, respectful, and did beautiful work. I am not a big makeup person, so I struggled to communicate what I wanted, but she completely understood after I showed her just a few photos. She helped me make decisions by giving her input and explaining how things would look different. I am so happy with the way my look turned out and I felt like a million bucks!

Liz and Cristela did hair and makeup for my wedding (8 ladies total). Everyone absolutely loved their hair and makeup! No one looked overdone- just the absolute best version of themselves. Liz is a sweetheart and so lovely to be around. Her calm demeanor and desire to ensure I was happy with how I looked put me at ease on a very nerve-wracking morning! I would absolutely recommend Beauty on Location for any bride.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Adriana was so friendly and incredible at what she does! She made me and my girls feel drop dead gorgeous! My hair and makeup both did not budge throughout the whole night and I stayed picture perfect! I cannot recommend them enough. Everyone you interact with is so professional and stress-free planning even with wedding party changes!

Raquel came to the location we were getting ready at for our wedding and did a fabulous job for myself, my sister in law, my sister, mother in law and mother. We stayed on time, she was a pleasure to talk to and made everyone feel comfortable. Everyone looked fantastic when she was done and felt great. I got compliments on my eye makeup all night long! She even let my husband borrow some of her product for his hair before we left! I'll be sure to come back and share photos when I get them!

Great hair and makeup! I had a very easy time setting up everything with Beauty on Location through their website and email. I even made a last minute change with no difficulty. Stephanie came out to our cabin on our big day. She was friendly and pleasant and definitely came prepared! She did 5 hairstyles on a variety of lengths and the Bride's makeup. She listened to everyone's likes and dislikes, and I think everyone looked amazing. I had never had professional makeup done before, and I don't wear alot of makeup, so I was concerned about having too much and not feeling like myself, but Stephanie did a perfect job. My hair and makeup was exactly how I imagined it. Of course I saw myself in the mirror, but the very first picture I saw of myself from the ceremony, I was in awe of how great I looked :) Thank you for making me a gorgeous bride and making my ladies look beautiful as well!

We had hair and makeup done for 12 people for my daughter’s wedding in Vail CO . All three stylists/makeup artists were professional, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. They listened to everyone’s thoughts about their preferred look, made appropriate suggestions, and made sure everyone was happy with their end result. And that is not easy with 12 women! They made our wedding day morning fun and relaxing. The best part for me was that I looked in the mirror at the end of the night and my makeup looked just as fabulous as it did when I stepped out of the makeup chair. Needless to say, I was very happy with BOL and highly recommend them .

I’m so torn with this review. We had Stephanie come and do hair and make up for me and my bridesmaids and she was AMAZING. She did a phenomenal job and was so nice to hang around with all day. I’m torn with the review, however, because the stylists are staffed through Liz at Beauty on Location and honestly, the process of staffing and booking was a nightmare. First off, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with anyone. Like it was the week of my wedding and I hadn’t heard from Liz in weeks. I FINALLY get in touch with her and she was like, sorry I don’t really answer the phone. ?????? She runs a business! Not only that but I had the hardest time scheduling my trial. I had to email and call everyday for weeks to get a response. Then, the day before the wedding comes and Liz says the stylist I did the trial with was unavailable. Okay, annoying but whatever. She picks two new stylists. Then she emails me and says that I have to book the stylists a hotel room since it’s so snowy. Is it not her job to make sure her people are where they need to be to do their job? No other vendor told me that and all them took it upon themselves to get here on time and they had no issues. What made the stylists the only ones who couldn’t figure it out? Fine, it’s the day before and I’m stressed af so I book the room. Then the next day I get a text from Liz that one of the two new stylists didn’t come the night before and now couldn’t make it. Why the hell did I book that expensive room??? So Liz says she’ll find ANOTHER stylist to come because it was going to be tight having Stephanie do all of the hair and makeup. Stephanie is scrambling to finish hair and make up and halfway through the day, we find out AGAIN the new stylist can’t come. Poor Stephanie was left on her own and seriously, she crushed it. We kept offering her a break but she was so worried about finishing everyone that she wanted to power through. All in all, Stephanie was great. Liz and the Beauty on Location coordination were horrible. I would recommend going directly through a stylist and not using this vendor.

Valerie is an excellent hair and make-up artist. She has a bubbly personality which matched well with me and my bridesmaids. I had an allergic reaction 5 hours before the wedding exactly when I was scheduled to have my hair and make-up done, but I had to go urgent care. We had only booked Valerie for a specific amount of time, but she was kind of enough and flexible enough to stay an extra hour after I returned from urgent care. She did my hair and make-up with precision within 40 minutes allowing me to get photos and head off to the ceremony looking radiant on a compressed timeline. We were so thankful for her professionalism. She really saved the day!

I had 6 people total get hair and makeup done on my wedding day. Everyone looked great! The only complaint that I have is that communication was a little delayed with every message I would send, and my inspiration pictures only reached one of the stylists that came causing me to scramble and pull them up as they were setting up. Otherwise, we all looked great and overall loved the result!!

Our makeup artists and hairstylists were amazing on my wedding day - all the girls looked so beautiful! The artists also had extra time to work on the flower girls, and braid bridesmaids hair which helped out a lot! Very professional and good pricing. The only reason I give it a 4 star review is because I wish the initial planning was done over the phone rather than emails, just to avoid any confusion. Especially since the artists don't do the planning. Through the "chat" component I wasn't really able to meet the planner, so I didn't think it was a very personable experience.

Raquel and Olivia were an amazing team for my wedding! They were able to travel to our hotel, were fun to work with and completed all services in time (bride, 3 bridesmaids, flower girl and Mother of the Groom). Raquel did my hair and makeup and I couldn't be more pleased. I normally do not wear a lot of makeup and was nervous about my wedding day makeup looking like it was too much. She did a great job during my trial several months earlier and on the big day made me feel beautiful and natural. Everyone in the bridal party also looked stunning. Thank you so much!

I worked with Valerie for my wedding day hair and makeup. I was nervous when I booked because I don't live in Colorado, so I hired BOL a few months before I'd be able to do my hair & makeup trial. I spoke with Valerie by phone to discuss the style I wanted (more on the natural side of things) and she was so kind. I absolutely loved my trial -- Valerie understood exactly what I wanted immediately and was able to give gentle advice when needed. On my wedding day, she and Paige were just wonderful. They did a beautiful job on the hair & makeup for myself, my mom, and my bridesmaids (and a little for my husband). I couldn't be happier with their work and 100% recommend. Easy to communicate with, flexible, fun to have with you on such a big day, and incredibly skilled and professional.
