Super professional! Sara was so easy to work with! She brought our vision to a reality!
The hair stylists and makeup artists arrived 20-30 minutes late and immediately told us they were worried about being able to get all of the hair and makeup done in time… The hair ...
stylists didn’t have stools or a table for their tools. (This could be an issue with the wedding planner not communicating that they needed to bring these items, but I believe Beauty Therapy Inc. should also be somewhat responsible for confirming details with the planner ahead of time.)
Makeup: The makeup team was very friendly and personable. They didn’t ask for any input or preferences and we all looked so weird.. huge eyes, super pale skin, and no color anywhere else. I understand that makeup settles and has to be heavier/more dramatic for the photos but the makeup was very washed out and the strip lashes were not shaped/trimmed very well which altered our eye shapes and made some droopy. Most of us heavily adjusted our makeup with blush, bronzer, highlighter, etc. but we couldn’t really adjust the eyes.
Hair: The hair stylists seemed annoyed from the minute they got there and were so rude to everyone but the bride. Once we found furniture for them to use, they asked for hand towels to rest their tools on. I don’t understand why a professional wouldn’t bring their own heat protectant mat to a job. At the end of the day when we cleaned up, all of the hand towels had burn marks on them and there was a burn hole in the top of the table. They never said anything about it. They also trimmed hair extensions over the carpet when there were two bathrooms they could have used and they didn’t even attempt to pick any of it up. It was so gross. I pulled a clump of hair off of the brides train before we left for the ceremony.
We all showed them photos of what styles we wanted and not a single bridesmaid was happy with how it turned out. None of our hair looked like the reference photos and the stylists talked about their kids and their home lives the entire time. This isn’t that bad but it just felt weird that we’d were there to celebrate the bride and they talked about themselves the whole time making it hard for us to even talk to each other. Being in the chair was very unpleasant and I felt like they didn’t want us there or care about our input.
Overall: I was just a bridesmaid but it was a bad experience for most of us. The bride paid a lot of money for a service that made all of us feel uncomfortable and definitely not beautiful. We all ended up fixing and changing the work that Beauty Therapy Inc. did. Together, the hair and makeup aged us all by a good 5-10 years before we adjusted it ourselves. I just felt so ugly.
On the wedding day, they did treat the bride well and her hair and makeup looked good, but they didn’t even try to customize anything for each girl’s features or requests.
Not to mention, the mess they left us to clean up and the stuff they ruined. This is not a huge deal because it was just a few hand towels and a folding table, but it is unprofessional to be unprepared and then damage or ruin items of any value that you borrow! It would have been better if they at least acknowledged what happened. But I really can’t get over them cutting hair and leaving it on the ground—no attempt to clean any of it up.
I also know that the bride had issues with the contracting process. They charged her something like $250 for a “retainer” which turned out to be neither a retainer nor a deposit, just a fee for a 30 minute phone call.
Erica and Joleane are absolutely amazing at what they do! The pictures I posted don’t even do justice for how wonderful I looked. I got so many compliments throughout the night. Th...
ey took a few inspiration photos and made my vision come to life!! They showed up a little early and jumped straight in. Both of them worked so hard on my wedding day and even brought water to make sure we stayed hydrated!! The both of them are so sweet and super fun to talk with. I feel like I could talk with Erica and Joleane all day! I will be returning in the future as a regular client and would recommend them over and over again!
Oh my goodness where do I begin? Erica and her crew were nothing short of amazing this past Saturday for my daughter's wedding! They had their work cut out for them with a bridal p...
arty of 10 girls, the bride, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and a few family members. They made the entire morning so much fun and created the most beautiful up-do's and other styles that were just stunning! They listened to what we wanted and truly had a vision of what would look the best on each of us. My daughter, the bride, was almost in tears when she saw her tight bun! It was EXACTLY what she wanted.
And let's talk make-up.....the best! I for one have always been hesitant to get mine done because I feel it never looks like me, it's over-done or it just doesn't stay on. Let me tell you, I had my hair and make up done at 11 a.m. and by midnight, it looked exactly as it was when I first had it done. We all got so many compliments at the wedding. Thank you Erica and gang for the best morning in the bridal suite and for making Lexi look like a princess for her big day! One more daughter to go and I know exactly who we will be using for that big day when it rolls around:)
Erica and Jolene were wonderful to work with on my wedding day! They really went above and beyond the day of our wedding and were so helpful with details beyond hair and makeup. We...
made some small adjustments for the day of after my hair and makeup trial and everything was perfect for the wedding! Would highly recommend them for your wedding day!
I hired beauty therapy 2 months before an event for which I was a co-chair. I was hosting 550 people for an auction along with formal dinner and program. We confirmed our appointme...
nt 5 days before our event. They were a no-show. I contacted them when they were 15 minutes late. No response. I tried every possible method of communication, no response. Finally, nearly 2 hours after our scheduled appointment, I received a phone call back stating they were unavailable to respond because they were attending a wedding and the makeup artist who was assigned to us must have gotten her schedule wrong. Completely unacceptable. The added stress and inconvenience this caused on a day we were hosting such a large and important event was inexcusable. There should never be a situation like this. I am beyond disappointed. I do not recommend this company.
About a month before my wedding we still hadn't gotten the contract from my original hair and makeup team so my wedding planner connected us with Beauty Therapy and they were able ...
to accommodate me and my bridal party into their schedule. I worked with Christal and Breea and I could honestly not recommend them enough--they were both such a delight to work with and did an AMAZING job on both my hair and makeup. I had vague ideas on what I wanted for both my hairstyle and makeup look and with a few inspirational photos they were able to create the perfect look. Not only did they do such a great job on thee styling but both Christal and Breea were so kinda and friendly and made me feel so comfortable!

up. They are very professional and very easy to work with! I am a very shy person sometimes and they made me feel extremely comfortable both times I worked with them. I would STRONGLY recommend booking early. I booked over a year in advance! The quality of the hair and makeup in unmatched. My face did not looked "caked" at all which is something I am always worried about while wearing makeup and my hair didn't look crunchy at all! As I was getting my hair done Christal made sure that there was no bobby pins sticking me in the head. If I have any event I needed hair/makeup done in the future I would definitely book them again!
Jolene and Erica were amazing to work with!! All of my bridesmaids and Mother in Law have not stopped gushing about how beautiful they felt on our wedding day with their hair done ...
by Jolene and team. They not only put out incredible work for all 13 of us, but Jolene's positive energy and personality helped set off our wedding day tone to an amazing start!! Additionally, one of my bridesmaids has extremely curly hair and was nervous about even letting any professionals style it on the day of. She was SO shocked and happy with how amazing Jolene and team did her hair that she now wants to book them for her upcoming wedding! Highly recommend Beauty Therapy for bridal hair or hair for any big event!
Erica and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. They are all incredible at what they do and so very patient. I didn't know much about makeup and couldn't describe what ...
I wanted but they worked with me to figure out my look. On the day of the wedding, they took such great care of me and my bridesmaids, keeping us all calm and we couldn't believe how amazing we all looked! I would highly recommend Erica and her team!

times I declined. By this point my only recourse was to leave the room.
I missed being with my daughter and watching her get ready. A week later I brought my concerns to the salons attention. No apology, just a lengthy message defending her actions. I would never recommend this vendor that my daughter hired.
Beauty Therapy was the only vendor throughout our entire wedding weekend that was a disaster. Two of our bridesmaids didn’t even end up getting their hair done by them day of becau...
se they were so rude (luckily I have a friend who does great hair who stepped in).
The morning after the wedding we received an extra bill from BT:
$100 relocation fee for initial set up outside (given Covid precautions during a delta surge no less) They did not have to relocate for this as it was their initial set up but still charged us.
$100 second relocation fee when I felt bad they were in the sun and offered to get extension cords so they could be in the front of the house in the shade. This was done solely for their comfort to be polite. We were charged for this.
$150 waiting fee for the two people who didn’t get their hair done who were going to go first (even though we still paid for their services).
We had 11 people who needed hair with only 1 stylist and 1 “prepper.” This was not sufficient.
If you go with BT make sure you have everything written in a contract before you sign though I would suggest finding another vendor.
The only way they would refund one of the unnecessary $100 charges was if I signed a contract saying I wouldn’t leave a poor review. I thought it was more important to be honest (and pay the amount that would have originally been their tip) so people know what they’re getting into.

feel incredibly comfortable to make changes to make my hair and makeup perfect. She took feedback and truly only wanted me to be happy at the end of the day.
Her much needed support and sweet nature was exactly what I needed during the planning process and day of. I would highly recommend Erica and her team for your wedding! She is not only hair and makeup, but a support system!!
Beauty Therapy was outstanding with hair and make-up for our wedding earlier this month. Erica and Joleane took the time with us for a detailed consultation, discussing the proce...
ss, listening to our questions, and outlining the timeline for the day. All the members of our party enjoyed the experience working with Erica and Joleane and how they made it a special, relaxing addition to the day. We really appreciate that Beauty Therapy was able to accommodate us and welcome us to the studio, despite the current conditions. We could not be happier with the way all the hair and make-up turned out!
Erica, Jo and team are amazing. From the trial experience in their adorable salon in Copley to the entire wedding day, Beauty Therapy lived up to the name. The fact that hair and m...
akeup are a one-stop shop makes it so easy (and can save $$$), especially when they are so talented at both. Erica and Jo made it such an open environment where we were so comfortable to ask to adjustments to make sure that everything was perfect, and they made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Bridal beauty can be so anxiety-ridden because there is so much pressure for it to be (and stay) perfect and not only is she ridiculously talented, but Erica has the most calming aura and can make even the most anxious bride feel at ease. Her team did beautiful work on my entire bridal party, mom, mother in law and grandmother, and even was willing to stick around for a retouch (because I am a crier)!!!
My little sister is getting married in Columbus next August and hired Beauty Therapy on the spot, because they are truly that good (and willing to travel)!
It was SO dreamy working with these wonderful women and can’t wait to spend more time with them again next year!!
These ladies became an staple to my wedding day. Not only did they make me look and feel amazing, like I was fresh from a magazine photo shoot, but they did so much to help make me...
stay calm the entire morning leading up to the event. From the "good morning, you got this" text, to the Starbucks they picked up for me, to helping coordinate and guide my bridesmaids through how to help me, to even walking me to my "first look" with my now husband, and recording the event, AND sending it to me... I truly feel like I would have been missing a big part of my #TEAMBRIDE crew if I would not have hired these ladies. They are wonderful in their work, and also make you feel like you're hanging out with close friends - very friendly, but yet very professional. I've never had someone take the time to ask my about my vision for my hair and make up, while also going through a breakdown of all the things we could do TOGETHER as a team to help prepare me for my big day - from planned facials, to hair coloring, trims, and blowouts to train my hair to style the way I wanted it. They also even asked me at each meeting what else they could help with or offer me advice on - post wedding transportation and the writing of vows were the topics that stick out in my mind for our conversations! The pricing was a little above what I had budgeted, but TRUST ME, THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY! I will be returning to these ladies for ALL my future beauty needs. Erica, Jolene, and Crystal are FANTASTIC.

Hair and make up we’re one of the top things I really wanted to look good on our big day and these ladies NAILED it.
For my trail they were so receptive to any changes I wanted to ...
make, making it exactly how I imagined: a glammed up version of myself. I didn’t want any crazy hair or over the top make up and they just made my dreams come true.
I also had a blow out the day before because coming from desert heat to Ohio humidity, my hair was not being cooperative so having them come to me and put whatever products they needed for the day before helped a lot.
They found our venue promptly and did such an amazing job (even with my very picky aunt god bless).
My make up lasted ALL NIGHT. Through tears, sweating, hugs and kisses.
My curls did fall but I expected that since it has a mind of its own. Regardless it still looked gorgeous!

their hands on my big day. Hair and makeup can make or break your wedding look and these girls did a fantastic job. I had my make up airbrushed by Erica and it held up for the entire day and evening. My bridesmaids also looked gorgeous! Thank you girls for a wonderful experience:)
Beauty Therapy was recommended to me by my wedding planner and at first I thought their prices were a little high for bridesmaids, I know how expensive it can be to be a bridesmaid...
so I was trying to be conscious of that when booking for my wedding but also I didn't want to sacrifice quality for my own wedding day! After looking into other people I realized they were cheaper for the bridal party but WAY more expensive for the bride and not as good. So I landed on my first choice and just paid for half of my bridal party members makeup up front to offset some of the cost for them. Erica and Jolene were fabulous everybody LOVED their makeup and everyone was so beautiful! Erica nailed it during my trial but took it to the next level during my wedding day I have never felt so beautiful! My favorite part was when they are prepping your skin she does a mask that didn't allow me to talk which was fabulous because then people couldn't badger me with questions and I got to just relax for a few minutes!

s very skeptical to get her makeup done, as she usually doesn’t wear makeup, but they did a phenomenal job. My mom loved them, and everyone looked stunning. They were easy to work with, kind, personable, and so so fun! They listened to what everyone wanted, and provided insight as to what works and what doesn’t. I love them, and can not recommend them highly enough!!

dreaming of and made it a reality. I received so many compliments for my bridal and engagement hair and makeup, pictures can't even do it justice. Day of went without a flaw, and they are so fun to work with. I was a pretty anxious bride and they made sure that everything even beyond hair and makeup went without a hitch, truly amazing people! please do yourself a favor and book them for your wedding!

should be super stressful, but these ladies handled literally everything, brought their own jams, and made me feel like such a princess. We had a few last minute changes - my mom insisted she have airbrush the morning of (classic) - and they adjusted and made it work for us. I would highly recommend them for absolutely anything and would definitely use them again!

m start to finish on the day of, as well as during the planning process and my hair and makeup trial. They traveled over an hour to my wedding location on 7/21/18, and even arrived early with coffee for me (that allowed for a stereotypical "the bride" Starbucks instagram photo!). They were both so professional, easy to work with, and just wonderful humans in general. They both worked seamlessly with my other vendors (I had quite a few!), and helped calm my nerves throughout the morning getting ready. They even made last minute changes to our makeup choices, given the questionable forecast, however all of the precautions we took ensured that it of course did NOT rain on my wedding day! 10/10 would recommend....you need to stop what you are doing right now and book them ASAP for your big day.

elp. I received SO MANY compliments about how gorgeous my hair and makeup was. They are well worth the price... Remember, you will have these photos forever, and you want to feel like a celebrity on your big day. Erica is great with communication. You will have a trial in which you will sit down and figure out your vision for your look. They take the time to do your hair and makeup beforehand so you will get exactly what you want on your special day. They are very experienced, kind, and professional. They helped me fix my eyebrow shape and recommended a stylist to fix my color and cut from a previous mishap with a different unrelated stylist. Their work speaks for itself; look them up on Instagram or Facebook! I cried and my makeup didn't even move... My hair stayed nice all night.

o the two moms, who aren't usually ones to wear makeup or get their hair done, but they worked with them to find styles that they would be comfortable in and still feel like themselves. It was also incredible to have Beauty Therapy travel to our wedding venue - instead of the added stress of us traveling to a salon before the wedding. Overall had an amazing experience, would recommend to anyone!!
I loved working with Erica and Joleane! Erica is a fantastic artist and knows how to work with any face. I got the airbrush makeup while my BM got traditional makeup. Both looked f...
lawless, but the airbrush just made the look even more perfect. Plus, it feels like I had nothing on my face the whole day. And Joleane did my hair just the way I wanted. She also helped prep our faces before Erica did our makeup. Not only do they both have fun personalities, they were both on time (if not a few minutes early) on my wedding day and were open to any changes that I asked for. There are only two things I think any bride should know beforehand and that is 1) sometimes it can take a while to get a response when you email them, and 2) be prepared to have your consultation/trial at one of their homes (I'm not sure if this is typical - Erica had to change the address the day of my trial due to scheduling) but in the end, everything turned out AMAZING! I highly recommend Beauty Therapy for any bride.
I can’t say enough about this team. They have done my hair and makeup for multiple events. They knock it out of the park every time. They are professional, kind and caring. You will...

a same-sex couple that is huge! And I can't thank them enough for that. They bring a calm, relaxing presents to the day. And I would highly recommend them to anyone!
From my engagement photos, to my trial and all the way through the getting ready process, Erica and Joleane were amazing at the work that they did. I have never looked as beautiful...
as when these two put their magic touches on me. My makeup looked exactly how I envisioned it and lasted all throughout the day and night and my hair was like a dream! Joleane made it do things I didn't even think were possible without extensions!
Not only did they make me look and feel beautiful on my day, but they also made my bridal party look stunning for their photos - every one looked like they could have been in a bridal magazine.
The best part about working with them is their amazing personalities, which make you feel more like a friend than a client.

Her personality made the morning so much fun and took all the nerves away. My makeup was flawless and I received so many compliments throughout the day. The mothers and bridesmaids were so happy with their makeup as well and were impressed with how long it stayed on throughout the entire day and night. Thank you, Erica, for making me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day :)
I love, love, loved working with Beauty Therapy. I booked them shortly after getting engaged and worked with Jo and Erica for a year and a half leading up to the wedding. In additi...
on to my trial they also styled me for my engagement photos and bridal shower. They are professional, accommodating, and made me feel like a goddess at all of my events, but most importantly on my wedding day. I appreciated how knowledgeable both Jo (hair) and Erica (make-up) are and it was nice to be able to trust them both completely with my wedding day look. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. My bridesmaids met them the morning of the wedding and all five commented on how professional and skilled both Jo and Erica were with personalizing their hair and make-up as well. In addition to actually doing our hair and make-up, Erica helped me plan out a morning timeline which allowed us to have six people get their hair done and five people to get their make-up done in time for us to get out the door and to the ceremony. I will absolutely recommend Beauty Therapy to all of my friends and the future and will continue to use them for events.

oleane nearly a year and a half before my wedding, and was wowed by their initial customer service and portfolio. There is no denying that both of these women do incredible work.
Closer to the big day, we set up a consultation to try out my look for the wedding day. At 10:30 PM the night before, Erica cancelled due to “double booking” and not realizing she would have her child home from school that day. Her email was a little unclear, so I emailed, called, and texted the next morning (hours before our consultation) with no response. The next day, Joleane texted back, blaming illness for the cancellation. It took nearly two weeks to reschedule our consultation. Once the rescheduled consultation came, we met Erica and Joleane in her living room, or “consultation space.” While both women are very warm and friendly, I was less than impressed with the fact that our appointment started over an hour late and the fact that a roommate entered halfway through dropping cuss words and racial slurs. Though I was in love with my hair and make up, their continued lack of communication worried me, but I was unable to find another beauty team in my budget so close to our wedding date.
On the day of our wedding, Erica and Joleane were scheduled to arrive between 10:00 and 10:15. They arrived at 10:50, blaming traffic and construction. Later, they said that they had worked another event in the morning, but were unclear if that was the reason for their tardiness. Even though we agreed to have one make up artist, a lead hair stylist, and an assistant hair stylist, Erica and Joleane were the only ones to show. Their inability to arrive on time, along with the lack of a second hair stylist caused our schedule to run far behind. We did not have any time for touch ups at the end as promised, which caused my maid’s hair to wilt and make up to smudge in the heat before photos even began. We also weren’t able to do as many pre-wedding photos as I would have liked. Despite this, there was no mention of the lack of second stylist and no compensation, although our agreement clearly stated we were paying for one make up artist, one lead hair stylist, and one assistant.
With this said, I absolutely loved both my hair and make up. All of my bridesmaids looked flawless thanks to their creative styling and knowledge of what makes women look and feel their best. Still, my wedding planning process and wedding day were considerably more stressful because of Beauty Therapy’s lack of professionalism and poor communication. I would not recommend them to another bride.
Erica and Jolene are truly talented. They literally TRANSFORMED us all. We felt so beautiful all through out the night. They are fun, personable and have great attention to detail....
The makeup literally lasted all day and night. Through the humidity, smoke bombs in the forest, etc my makeup did not budge. I am so very impressed by these two. I couldn't imagine my wedding without them. They take your inspiration photos and run with it. The outcome is even better than you can imagine. My hair was just gorgeous and held through the night as well. Jolene has that perfect eye for hair and I can not tell you how many times we were complimented through out the night. Erica and Jolene work magic! I highly, highly recommend!
