It is always our goal to ensure that hairstyles last all day long, and we carefully consider timing to achieve this. Since we knew your completion time was set for 1-2 PM, we felt that starting at 8 AM would lead to unnecessary waiting, potentially affecting the freshness of your hairstyle. Although I did need to get my daughter off to school, I was only assigned to do your hair and one other style, which takes me a total of 1.5 hours. To ensure your look was at its best for your special day, I felt it was better to style you towards the end of your timeframe, especially since you had chosen a down and curled style. I’m sorry if, for even a moment, you questioned whether I would arrive. We do clearly communicate that not all artists will arrive and depart at the same times. We ensure that at least one artist will be there at your start time, and that you will be completed by your deadline. I’m sorry that you felt our reply regarding decreasing services was unacceptable. We simply try to put into perspective that our artist’s budget a certain amount of income for the wedding day and we can’t unexpectedly reduce that amount on them. This is clearly stated throughout the booking process and on the contract. We understand that coordinators and photographers do have input on getting ready timelines, and we try our best to accommodate them, however, we do state in our contracts that we will create our timelines according to your completion deadline. Regarding the cost and installation fees for the extensions, I’m sorry you found this charge to be unfair and unnecessary. We find it very important to tease the root area where the extensions are being placed to ensure their security so they do not fall out. It also takes experience to understand where to place the extensions so that they are not visible. We aim to provide clear information upfront and pride ourselves on transparency. All of your concerns are made very clear in multiple places throughout the booking process as well as on the contract. I apologize that you feel our policies and procedures were unacceptable.
