I can’t say enough great things about Sarah! Her skill is impeccable and really listens to your vision. As someone who had a specific vision, it was really amazing to have a makeup artist who not only didn’t make me feel bad for asking for slight adjustments, but also knocked it out of the park! We actually completely changed the look from the bridal trial and wedding day. Honestly, I don’t know which I loved more! Her attention to detail is something worth noting! She always makes you feel like a valued client. I think her care package and hand written note is so sweet! She is so organized, sanitary, and easy to work with. She truly made the day a breeze. If I could leave 10 stars I would. Sarah is seriously amazing, worth every dollar. My skin was dryer than usual the day of my wedding and she made me look like a bronzed glowing goddess! Okay, can we just take a moment to appreciate the absolute goddess that is Sarah Mae? Sarah was absolutely incredible. I've never had professional make up services before so was having a difficult time figuring out how to articulate what I wanted, but once I came across photos of Sarah's work online I was so drawn to her subtle but glowy style. My trial was fantastic and really helped me get a better sense of what I was wanting. We went heavier on my trial because I was doing my engagement photos that day and I loved how my make up photographed, but it was so helpful to see how my photographers editing choices could impact how my makeup looked. Sarah sent the sweetest little gift/care package leading up to my wedding day which really made me feel like she cared and was looking forward to being a part of my day. The day of my wedding was truly a breeze. She was so accommodating, did STUNNING work on my bridesmaids and my mom, and blew me away with my look. She took my notes from the trial so well and even helped me understand what it was exactly I was looking for and wanting to change. Everyone in my bridal party was so so happy with their looks and you could just feel that confidence radiating off of them throughout the day. That really feels like it makes a difference when everyone feels so great about themselves and they can just have fun. I know I'll be calling Sarah for ANY make up I need to get done in the future and can't wait to hire her again soon!

I had very specific wants for my wedding makeup look and she was a rockstar as she listened to my very detailed and granular requests. Even better, she took feedback on edits like a pro and between the bridal preview and my wedding morning--which spanned several months--- she had incorporated all my tweaks, big and small, to create the most beautiful wedding makeup I could have ever asked for. The makeup artistry on my bridesmaids was astoundingly beautiful as well. They each looked gorgeous. Beyond how talented Sarah is, she also brings such a wonderful presence to the wedding morning with her care, kindness, and joyful spirit. She comforted me in more ways than one (unrelated to makeup) as I was navigating a stressful morning of wedding preparations. I cannot recommend her enough.

I chose Sarah for my bridal makeup because her work spoke for itself. However, once I had worked with her, I discovered that she offers SO MUCH MORE than just amazing, flawless makeup. She is the epitome of positive energy - the exact person you want around you when you are dealing with the endless list of wedding to-do's. I can’t express how great full I am for Sarah making the trip out to San Marcos for our big day. Doing the trial was a must and I was so confident on the day of the wedding that I would be made to feel beautiful with Sarah’s talented artistry. I loved her ability to make me feel and look glam but it felt so natural on my skin. She wasn’t joking that I wouldn’t want to take it off once the night was over. She helped calm the redness in my skin and worked wonders on my lashes and oily skin. I loved her attention to the little details and the little goodies to make the day run smoothly. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup and said they felt comfortable in it all day. I would highly recommend her and would go back for any future events. Sarah is an incredibly talented makeup artist and an amazing person all around. She was recommended by my wedding photographer and I couldn't be happier with how my makeup looked on my special day. I traveled to CA for my small elopement celebration so I didn't have a chance to do a makeup trial prior to the big day, but she made me feel comfortable and special from the first conversation we had on the phone to the day of. I’ve had the pleasure to work with Sarah several times for different events like photoshoots for work, my engagement shoot, bridal shower and my biggest day- my wedding! Sarah is absolutely amazing! Every single time she nails the look I’m going for! I felt like the most gorgeous bride! Sarah is the absolute sweetest and has the cutest, most positive, bubbly personality that brightens up any room. She is so organized and timely. Leading up to the big day, she made a timeline beforehand for everyone and kept great communication the whole time if we had to make any changes. This was so important since I had almost 15 people that needed their makeup for my wedding done, and Sarah and her team managed to get all of us ready on time looking STUNNING! Everybody stayed organized, and she was flexible as needed keeping everyone in the room feeling calm and pampered. From younger girls to my grandmas, she was able to customize each of their looks making everyone look and feel beautiful. She is so prepared, clean and sanitary. For each girl, she had their own set of tools and brushes separately packaged, which gave me peace of mind, and she constantly sanitized. She raises the bar and sets the standard for all makeup artists. She kept me stress free and was so helpful the whole time since we had so many people getting ready together. Her energy was amazing and I’m so thankful for her professional experience that kept us so organized. When in the chair, I felt at ease and relaxed and trusted her hands. She knew exactly what look I wanted and made me feel absolutely beautifulll on my wedding day! I was so pleased too since my makeup lasted the whole day since I’m naturally on the oily side and sweat a ton and prepared for the waterworks, but Sarah worked her magic, and my makeup lasted and looked beautiful the whole day through all of the tears (and sweat 😅). She even added a little body glow that made my shoulders pop that looked gorgeous with my wedding dress. When we got our photos, everything photographed beautifully, and that goes for all of the other sessions I’ve had with her too 💗 I can trust that her makeup always looks amazing and can confidently say she is the best! I love how Sarah is always able to customize each look whether I’m looking for something more natural, something different like a 70s look or something with a little more glam. Her expertise and creativity is unmatched, and her fun personality makes for the best experience. Sarah did my makeup for my engagement, bridal trial, and entire wedding party! From my 12 year old daughter to my 70 year old mom she nailed every look! Everyone looked absolutely stunning in their own special gorgeous way. And the wedding morning was so peaceful and fun. She scheduled everything out for me so there was no rushing no stress. Just joy! Sarah brings a light and an energy into your day that is so needed and her makeup is flawless. My husband and I danced the night away, cried, and even had a messy cake smashing kiss and at the end of a 12 or more hour day my makeup still looked magical!

Make up artist review I’m so lucky to have found Sarah, I can’t imagine how it would have turned out if it wasn’t her. Do yourselves a favor and book her! She is very talented and knows what to do, on the plus side she ensures brushes/sponges and other items are clean, safe for use. She is very professional, on time and will work with you until the end. In my experience, I have really, I mean really oily skin, I was touched because she made sure to find out products that will work on my skin, even if it meant doing a second trial. The day of my wedding, our make up was on point! My make up battled with wind and rain that day, plus my already given condition of oiliness. But it held up and lasted til the end. Sarah Mae did my bridal party’s make up and we absolutely loved not only how she made us look and feel, but how accommodating, kind, and easy to work with she is! We do not wear make up normally, we’re more of the “oh natural” look and Sarah Mae kept that in mind for all of us. She enhanced our natural beauty and for that, I am still in awe. My mother especially loved her! She knew how nervous my mother was, being her first time ever in a make up chair! This woman rarely puts on eyeliner, and Sarah Mae was so understanding and made my mom comfortable and she left that make up chair feeling confident and beautiful! If I could give more stars I would! Sarah is truly one of a kind. She is amazing at her craft and makes every bride feel so beautiful and special. My experience with her on my wedding day was nothing short of fantastic! Of course with weddings there are always hiccups - mine just so happened to be the first heat wave of this year. The location where we were getting ready was not equipped for any type of heat (AC died) but Sarah made it so that all my bridesmaids and myself were comfortable and confident in our makeup looking good and staying in place. She also has such positive energy and you can’t not be happy around her. Despite me panicking about the heat and sweating everything off, she made sure that I felt beautiful and confident in how I looked. If it wasn’t for Sarah I probably would’ve lost my mind while getting ready that day. Everything she puts on you is high quality and looks amazing. My makeup stayed perfectly, despite the heat, and by the end of the night it still looked fresh. She works well with all skin types and colors and produces such beautiful work. I keep looking for an excuse to have her do my makeup again since I have had such an amazing experience with her both with my bridal trial and the day of my wedding. Sarah made my wedding makeup vision come to life! She was so attentive to detail and always checked in with me to make sure that I liked where the look was headed. There are no words to perfectly describe my experience with Sarah. After my trial run with her, she asked me to be brutally honest, what I liked or didn’t, etc. She took it all into consideration for the wedding day, went above and beyond, and my makeup was PERFECT! I don’t usually wear makeup so I thought I’d be uncomfortable the whole day, but I loved how I looked and it lasted the whole night! She was on time and stuck to her schedule so that we were all done exactly when she predicted. She was so clean with all her products and how she applied the makeup. I have absolutely NO complaints! My go-to MUA will be Sarah from now on!

Sarah is amazing to work with! She is kind, sweet, considerate, professional and sanitary on top of having amazing work. She does make up that fits you and makes it last. My make up lasted me from 2 pm until 2 am when I took it off and lasted through a minor car accident, a melt down immediately following, my many first kisses, photos, eating, drinking, and dancing. I could not recommend her more!

I’m currently working with Sarah for my 2021 wedding. So far I’ve had my makeup trial and signed my contract. My trial was awesome!! I loved my makeup and it lasted all day. Sarah was so friendly and open to helping me decide what I wanted. She’s very flexible and was so willing to edit/change things for my wedding look like going with matte lipstick instead of the gloss from my trial. The makeup felt so light on my skin even though it was a glam look. The contract was so easy to sign and it was such an easy process to book with her. She’s also super affordable and will travel! Highly recommend and I can’t wait for my final look on my wedding day!

Sarah was a godsend! We had a COVID19 wedding and my makeup artist cancelled last minute before the wedding. My wedding coordinator highly recommended Sarah and thankfully she was available! She's super sweet, easy to work with and was very responsive to my emails. For me, having natural looking long eyelashes was at the top of my list, including eye glitter, and she nailed it!

I am a little late at writing a review for this AMAZING woman! I found Sarah on Instagram while looking through tons of local wedding vendors. Her name consistently came up and the brides wearing her makeup were absolutely STUNNING! She has a wide range of makeup looks yet it always looks so elegant and classy, no matter what style you are going for. One of the things I wanted to be perfect for my wedding was my makeup because I knew after the big party the only thing I would have to remember our wedding by would be our memories and photos, and boy do I love my makeup in all of our photos! Sarah is very professional, courteous and organized. Most importantly she is kind and so so sweet. She genuinely cares about each and every one of her clients and goes above and beyond to make you feel beautiful and happy. She is one of those girls that you automatically wish was one of your close friends because she is just so easy to get along with! I did the bride trial run which I definitely recommend. I happened to use the makeup done that day for boudoir photos which looked so sultry and pretty! We were able to tweak a couple things for the actual wedding day. On the day of the wedding Sarah was prompt and did mine and a couple of my bridesmaids makeup. They all turned out so gorgeous. My makeup literally was perfect all day long even though it was super hot during our ceremony. I never had to even touch it up. For the first time in my life, my makeup stayed perfectly matte and poreless. I was very very picky when it came to who I chose as our wedding vendors as I didn’t want my money to go to waste.
