When I saw her work I instantly knew I needed her in my life. Her style was exactly what I was looking for. I had a hair mishap a couple weeks before the wedding and I reached out to Jess saving the day. She listened to my wants/needs, got me in for a trial into her busy schedule and SLAYED the day of wedding. She single handedly did 7 of my girls and me and finished on time with flawless hair. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!!

Jess is the best!! Couldn’t recommend her enough. Beyond being amazing with hair, she is such a wonderful person to be around. Highly recommend! Jessica was amazing. I couldn't be happier with how all of our hair and makeup turned out. She traveled to us, which was so great for the flow of the day and was so pampering. In addition to that, Jessica was very understanding and accommodating when we had to postpone due to the pandemic. She also worked with me to add an additional artist pretty late in the process after our bridal party number changed. Can't say enough good things. :)

I absolutely loved my hair for my wedding! Jessica did a fantastic job! I was not sure what hair style I wanted, so I ended up getting two trials done and Jessica was patient and helpful and was accommodating about squeezing me in last minute for the second trial. Not to mention, my wedding date changed 3 times due to Covid and she was nothing but kind and helpful. She did all the hair for my wedding party and everyone looked beautiful. Jessica is the absolute best. Not only did my entire bridal party and myself have absolutely amazing hair and makeup, but she fit perfectly into our little group! I loved that herself and her co-stylist were able to have conversations with all of us and she even ended up holding my dog during my first look with my bridesmaids to help keep him occupied! Talk about going above and beyond!

Not only did Jessica make me, my mom, my mother in law, and 6 bridesmaids all look fantastic for my wedding day, she was also great to work with, responsive, and kind. Jessica and another artist came to our venue in Powell and did everyone's hair and makeup. They were on time and fun. Everyone's hair and makeup lasted all day and night. She was great during the trial about letting me try things but also giving her opinion (since I don't really know much about makeup!). I would definitely recommend her.

For our NYE wedding, Jessica did the hair for me, my bridesmaids and our mothers. I had scheduled everyone for a time slot to get ready with Jessica and she had everyone done early which was very helpful. All of our hair looked great throughout the day and night as we were ready by noon and the didn't get to the hotel until 2am that night. Jessica is a very kind person and we all felt at ease getting ready the day of. Everyone was able to describe or show her what they wanted on the day of and they all looked great. Jessica did the hair for my bridesmaids and me on my wedding day, as well as my makeup, and I can't even begin to express how truly exceptional she is. From the moment I walked in for my hair and make-up trial, I knew I absolutely made the right choice. Not only is she passionate about her work, but she's SO GOOD at what she does, AND she's the kindest person you'll ever meet! My make-up trial: She NAILED. My hair too! The morning of my wedding, I asked her to make a few changes to my hairstyle from what we'd originally done in the trial...she went with it and it turned out EXACTLY as I'd envisioned it! I am not kidding - When I saw myself in the mirror after all was said and done, I started CRYING. I can truly say I've never felt so beautiful in my life, and I have Jessica to thank for that. I was first introduced to Jessica from BeautyByJLou at my best friend's wedding. Being in the bridal party, she did my makeup that day, and I felt so beautiful. I gave her little direction, and she brought my vision to life. When it came time for my wedding, there was no question as to who my makeup artist would be as I knew BeautyByJLou was the answer. To top it off, Jessica remembered me and was so excited to work together again. At my makeup trial, Jessica was so attentive to detail and ensured I loved the look she put together. Jessica is amazing and I will recommend her to anyone looking for a hair and/or makeup artist for their wedding day! She is so nice and really takes the time to get to know you and your individual style through the trial. I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup, so I was a bit nervous to have it professionally done, but Jessica immediately put me at ease. She nailed my trial and I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life. She also gave me advice on airbrush vs. traditional makeup and what might be better for me. My bridesmaids were obsessed with both their hair and makeup on the wedding day, and they are picky people. Highly, highly recommend!!

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful job Jessica and her assistant did on my wedding day (and trial!). They came to my house the morning of and did hair and makeup for myself, 7 bridesmaids, and my mother and mother-in-law. Everyone LOVED their hair and makeup and many have commented since that it has been their favorite wedding updo and makeup to date. Jessica did an absolutely stunning job on my hair and makeup. She took my vision of 2 different braid styles and ran with it - both a fishtail braid along the left and a double waterfall braid along the right. I had so many compliments about my hair and it stayed up and perfect all night! I loved my makeup as well. It felt so natural with just the right amount of oomph for the day/night. I can't recommend Jessica enough!

I could not recommend Jessica more. If you want the PERFECT wedding hair for you and your girls, book her right now. Every single one of my bridesmaids were beyond impressed with their looks, and mine was absolutely everything I wanted. In the 97 degree heat, all of our hair held up amazingly. Jessica was punctual and professional throughout everything: from the original booking, the trial, random panicked emails and the big day. After she was done with my hair, she stayed for an extra half hour to wait for my mom to come help me get into my dress so she could place the veil after I was dressed. She continually went above and beyond and can't imagine having a better person to do your wedding day hair!

If you think that a stylist can't be good at both hair and makeup, Jessica is the exception to the rule. During my hair and makeup trial, (which I highly suggest doing) she really listened to my vision, gave input, and tried multiple shades of lipstick per my request. She also asked for, listened to and actually used my feedback, so it was smooth sailing on my big day. In addition, she showed my mom how to put in and take out my veil. Another thing I loved about Jessica's services is that she comes to you and is reasonably priced. I'm not a girl who wears much makeup regularly (mascara and tinted moisturizer) however with the June heat, I went with airbrush, and lashes. My look was flawless and lasted all night. I felt amazing. My mom, his mom and my sister all looked gorgeous too. Jessica is the real deal! I’m so glad she was part or our big day.

Jessica made me and my bridesmaids look amazing for my wedding! She was so kind and easy to work with. She does a fabulous job doing bridal hair and makeup and really cares about her clients. Book Jessica!!! She was so accommodating and calming. Super talented. I gave her a lot of pictures with ideas and she created something that was inspired by them, but fully her own. Jessica did such a beautiful job on not only my make up for the wedding but for most of my bridal party as well. She was so sweet and easy to work with. The products she used and the way she applied our make-up ensured that it stayed all day. I loved working with her and she truly does do an amazing job!

We spent like 2 hours together at my trial, and maybe 5 hours together the day of my wedding. Third, she's actually reasonably priced. I searched high and low for her, and I am SO glad I found her.

Jessica was a joy to have around while getting ready for the big day. Before the big day, we completed two hair trials, since I changed my mind on my hair style. Jessica and her assistant did my hair and makeup and the hair and makeup of 6 brisdesmaids and my mom for our wedding day and I couldn't have been more pleased. We got married in October and Jessica drove 1.5 hours to a cabin in the middle of nowhere and got there at 7am to do our hair and makeup before noon. Omg. If you are looking for the best makeup out there Jess is hands down the girl to get. She killed it at my wedding! I had 12 full faces of makeup and everyone look beyond beautiful. Jessica is fantastic! Not only is she amazing at what she does but she's also fun to be around! She has a calming presence, which was ideal since she did my airbrush makeup on my wedding day and I was a ball of nerves! Jessica did makeup for myself, my bridesmaids and my mother-in-law and everyone was so happy with how their looks turned out. I am no expert when it comes to makeup & after showing her one picture of my ideal look she made it become a reality. I had never felt so confident in my life!

After several terrible trials with other on-site artists Jess nailed it for me (I’m really picky) It ended up being 93 degrees on my wedding day and we did a totally different style from my trial. It looked perfect and held all day (and the next day on my plane ride!) Jess has an exceptional personality and eye for style. She made my mom and girls look gorgeous too and I already have other brides asking “who did your hair???” Her prices are fair and she is prompt and organized. Jessica truly made our wedding day so special. She is so kind and made me feel calm during the trial and the day. Our makeup and the makeup of our entire bridal parties was beautiful, but we all still looked like ourselves. Everyone felt beautiful and as far as I know no one felt the need to change anything (I’ve heard that complaint regarding a lot of other makeup artists). We did not get our hair done with her, but I would trust her completely to do that as well. Truly such a kind person.
