Tamara and her daughter Lauren are the cutest, sweetest, and best wedding planning team I could have ever imagined. I was a bride who wanted to elope, as both my parents are dead and I have no other family. My then fiancé, on the other hand, wanted more…so I compromised! Knowing myself, I thought, ‘if I am to plan my own wedding (which I have never even dreamed about) and I don’t even really want to have one to begin with, how is it going to turn out?’ My own answer was ‘Bad!’ I needed help because I had absolutely no idea where to start. So, I begrudgingly attended the Wedding Expo at the Wells Fargo Center in SR. I zipped through as fast as I could, got the business cards of the vendors and people that I liked, and trudged home. After avoiding it for a few days, I looked into the wedding planner’s cards…I had only grabbed like, 3. I became hopeful after looking at Beauxchamp Events website, gave them a call, and we went to meet them. The rest is history…I called her the next day and hired her. During the meeting, Tamara actually made me a little excited about having a wedding and we both left feeling confident in not only their abilities, but also their emotional investment in us as clients. This was especially important, as I had procrastinated so long, we only had 4 months to plan and complete this wedding, and I hadn’t even started looking for a dress yet! They got me on-track right away and we got to work! Tamara was always very prompt getting back to me (either via email or phone), checking in on my progress, providing me with checklists and other vendor referrals, and was always positive, pleasant, and sweet. We made decisions quickly, and before I knew it, our day had arrived. Some would say I was the coolest, most calm and collected bride-to-be they had ever seen, and I believe very much of it was because I had 2 wedding planner superstars on my side. They set up EVERYTHING that day, and what I didn’t provide they hand-made themselves. It was all so incredible! And to give you an idea, the biggest (and ONLY) thing that went wrong (my fault of course), was the ribbon on my cake was purple (as opposed to a strip of burlap), which had been one of my ‘tentative’ wedding colors…I had simply forgotten to update the cake vendor. So that’s what you can expect from the Beauxchamps…The only thing that will go wrong (if anything) at your wedding, will be your own fault. They are simply perfect, and they will make your dream wedding (even if you don’t have a dream yet) come to fruition. They really went above and beyond…and we will always remember it. Enough said.
