The weather was iffy but Deb kept a close eye on it; she and her assistant worked hard to get 5PM outdoor ceremony in before the rain. Ceremony was held in the gazebo with a little spare time for some outdoor photos before the storm hit! It was clear again by sunset and Deb kept track so some more outdoor photos could be taken. The golf course provides some gorgeous photo backgrounds. Very personal and intimate to have a ‘single event’ venue where you feel like royalty with the whole place for you and your guests. Charming facility - many windows provide awesome views - gorgeous semi-circle of windows/ lovely bar in cocktail area, adjoining room with fireplace, banquet room with 3 walls of windows, piano in lobby, deck and gazebo, bridal suite/groomsmen rooms (with elevator access) and all the special little details. Our reception was a buffet and the food was delicious (the salmon was a favorite). They also work with an excellent bakery. Bar-tender was very nice and helpful (kudos from our other son who especially enjoyed his recommendations). Friendly and efficient wait staff - there when they needed to be but not intrusive on the festivities. The wedding and reception was very beautiful and personal with great attention to detail. We were very pleased and impressed, guests raved, and the bride and groom had a marvelous time. A+ facility, staff, food & reasonable cost compared to many other venues. I recommend Beaver Brook to anyone who wants a great venue where you can create your private dream wedding instead of a cookie-cutter, all the same event. Thanks again to Deb and the entire staff! has beautiful big windows and is decorated very simply (not gaudy like some country clubs can be) so you can make it very much your own for your wedding day. Carrie and Rebecca were great to work with, would definitely recommend to brides-to-be!

weren't into finding 15 vendors to handle each aspect. Carrie and Rebecca were fantastic. First off, they're both really responsive (which is so, so nice when you're trying organize a big event) and very friendly. We only had vague ideas of what we wanted, so they threw ideas out for us, like doing soft pretzels as a departure station, and they were really flexible. Both women are so warm and friendly and they really worked hard to make our day stress-free. Debi and Toni (banquet and bridal attendant) were just as professional and lovely as Carrie and Rebecca. Everyone there just makes planning a wedding so easy. The food was incredible - we had a lot of people say it was the best wedding meal they'd ever had. Everything went so smoothly, the venue is really beautiful, and everyone who worked there was friendly. I can't say enough good things about BB and its staff. We are so grateful to have had such a positive experience!

The layout is excellent - there is an outdoor porch area which for getting away from the noise or for getting some fresh air, and the bar (where the cocktail hour is located) is separate from the dinner/dance floor. The huge picture windows lining the back wall in the main room help keep the room bright during the day. Most importantly, the events coordinator, Carrie, is just wonderful! She was so accommodating during the whole year leading up to my wedding and really went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and made sure to promptly respond any time I had a question. The venue is perfect for a mid-sized wedding of around 140 people but can't really hold too many more.

We booked an all-inclusive deal that was being offered at the time and it was VERY reasonable for what was included (open bar, cocktail hour stations, 3 dinner courses, and a 3-tier cake from a participating bakery. smooth. Whenever I contacted her she was quick to respond to me and was always able to help me with small requests that helped to make our special day more personal. It was very calming to know that she understood our vision of the day and to know that she always, always, always had things taken care of for us. Even when my dress bustle came down, Carrie was there with us helping out! The grounds at Beaver Brook are absolutely stunning! We were able to take many pictures around the grounds and the backgrounds that the golf course and landscaping provides is just breathtaking. Our guests were raving about the food and overall experience of the wedding. We loved being able to have the cocktail hour in the lounge and go outside on the deck too so that guests could see the scenery. The food at the reception was delicious and the service was great too! The servers were very attentive and they gave special service to the bride and groom as well (they never took our food without checking first and brought us all of our drinks). The clubhouse and reception room is also all newly renovated and redecorated- it was just beautiful! It was such a memorable day and a true pleasure to look around and see our guests having a wonderful time. We could not have asked for a better experience with Beaver Brook and I am so thrilled that we chose to have our wedding here. Thank you to Carrie and the rest of the Beaver Brook team for giving us our dream wedding!

ther. Since he was an avid golfer and loved nothing more then being on a golf course, Beaver Brook was our only choice. My family has attended events before and knew what an amazing job they do. Natalie (events planner) was so accommodating, especially for us doing everything last minute. She was also very sincere and compassionate to our loss. Carrie the banquet manager was AMAZING! I can not say enough wonderful things about her. She did not rush us, she listened to us. She was just there for everything we needed. We are so happy we held my Father's memorial service at Beaver Brook Country Club. We will be planning to hold an annual golf tournament in my Father's name every year at Beaver Brook. Amazing staff, you will not be disappointed.

They had worked with Maxine and shortly after they signed the contract, I attempted to email her with some questions about floor plans, AV needs and for more pictures as my parents hadn't take much of the room/space. She never got back to me. After a few emails and a week or two of no responses, I had my fiance try and oddly enough she replied back quickly to him. Trying to plan this from far away and not seeing the place was difficult and it was also super difficult to get any sort of response from Maxine. But fortunately about a month before my event, I was passed on to Carrie (we actually think that Maxine may no longer be at Beaver Brook, thankfully) and she was wonderful. She responded quickly to my emails, got me all the information I needed and met with my parents again to take more pictures and figure out last minute details. The day of the event was the first time I saw the place and I was impressed. I loved the light in the room and the views of the mountains and forests. There was a patio our guests could use and the room was set up exactly how I had requested it in my emails. Carrie and the rest of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food and service were also very good. My guests all commented on the good food and the beautiful location. And again the price was really good considering the area. I would totally recommend this location to any bride though I would recommend working with Carrie rather than Maxine (if she's even still there)

es I looked at and after speaking with Maxine (she is in charge of weddings) I was pretty certain it was a great place to have my wedding. Before signing anything or making anything final I was very thorough in all my questions. One of my questions pertained to refunds and Maxine assured me that everything was refundable. She even told me about one of the soon to be brides who recently got a full refund when her fiance tragically passed away. She told me that they had no problem refunding because they were so popular and someone else would be quick to take the day. At the time I wasn't too concerned about this but I did want to be thorough in case anything happened. She seemed so honest and trusting. Unfortunately I can't give a review of wedding experience because my fiance and I had an emotional break up. After everything was said and done I called Maxine to let her know what happened. I called and called with no response. About a month later she finally returned my phone call. I told her what happened and she told me how sorry she was. I asked her about the refund and she said of course. She asked that I just send her an email about our phone call so she could have that on file. She said the check was processed through a company in California and it would take a few months to get it all straightened out. Months went by and I didn't think to much of it because I got busy with school and such. During this time my mother also played phone tag with Maxine to find out about the check. When she finally returned my mothers phone call Maxine claimed she had never talked to me. Then after questioning she said she remembered but she didn't receive an email from me. After my mother told her she had a copy of the email Maxine said she found it. Everything she said contradicted what she previously said. At this point I don't think I will be getting a refund. I just wanted to warn others. It was very upsetting. I don't know why she wouldn't tell me in the beginning that refunds were not part of the deal. Why all the lies? It really made me wonder if she didn't just pocket the money herself.
