We booked Beaverkill Valley Inn in January for our August 29th wedding — quick turnaround, but it was the only opening they had for 2026 and I have been dreaming of this venue! From our very first visit, arriving in the snow, we completely fell in love with this place. The venue is charming, intimate, and truly perfect in every way. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food — so many people told us it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Every single meal was incredible. One of the things our guests loved most was how much Beaverkill has to offer. From the amazing food and drinks to the ice cream parlor, tennis court, swimming pool, billiards, basketball court, and all of the charming little details throughout the inn — including the wallpaper! There is something special around every corner. Our guests were genuinely so excited to spend the weekend there, and it made the entire wedding feel like a true getaway. Cheryl is an absolute expert when it comes to hospitality and events. She worked seamlessly with our wedding planner and rentals team to make sure the catering team had everything they needed and that every detail was accounted for. From the moment we arrived for our wedding weekend, the entire Beaverkill staff was a dream. Ed, the General Manager, made sure the grounds were perfect for our guests. And Cheryl — I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She was so attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly. We felt completely taken care of throughout the entire weekend. Lisa at the front desk was also so incredibly sweet and welcoming to all of our guests. Everyone on the team made our wedding weekend feel so special. Beaverkill Valley Inn gave us the most magical setting and the most wonderful experience, and we are so grateful to the entire team. I cannot recommend Beaverkill Valley Inn enough. If you’re considering getting married here, DO IT. You will not regret it. 🤍

We had our wedding at the Beaverkill Valley Inn in September and had the most magical weekend of our lives! We had our full wedding weekend at the inn, and every event was perfect. Kaitlyn and Tommy are an amazing team, and the whole inn staff helped to bring our vision to life and make sure we and our guests had a great experience. Kaitlyn, Mary, and Cheryl helped throughout the planning process and were very accommodating of every idea we had. Tommy was wonderful to work with on the menu, and his food is amazing! All our guests told us it was the best wedding food they have had. On top of the planning and execution, the inn is just a beautiful place. The inn itself is newly renovated, and is just as pretty inside as out. Everyone who stayed there really enjoyed the rooms and guest experience. We can’t recommend this venue highly enough, and are so grateful we were able to have our wedding here!

Our sprawling grounds are a gorgeous setting for a ceremony surrounded by flowers on the croquet court, followed by a tented reception of up to 180 guests under the stars from May through October. For those interested in a more intimate celebration, the Inn is just charming for weddings of 50-100 during the cooler months. Your family and friends will enjoy all amenities, including a heated indoor pool, trails, fly fishing on Beaverkill River, tennis, and nightly fire pit. A fabulous wedding experience is made especially memorable by serving locally sourced foods on a menu that you will work with our talented chef to create. Your package includes hors d' oeuvres, family-style or buffet dinners, wedding cakes or assorted desserts, signature drinks, and local craft beers. above and beyond to ensure our vision came to life (thank you, Diana and Kaitlyn!). Everyone who worked our wedding, from the front desk staff to the servers and bartenders, was so polite and hardworking- something we truly noticed throughout the night, as it completely put us at ease. We knew that our guests were so well taken care of. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful the setting was and they could not stop talking about how delicious the food and cocktails were. Seriously, my husband's grandmother still mentions the chicken every time we speak to her on the phone (thank you, chef Tommy)!. A friend also texted the next day to say it was one of the best weddings he had ever been to, and by far the best venue. Staying at the Inn with our closest friends was like a big slumber party and the front desk staff treated us like family. It was truly the perfect day for us and we are so grateful that we chose the Inn as our wedding venue.

Even with quite a few food restrictions, they were able to accommodate all our requests and went above and beyond to make sure the food was safe for us. It was so amazing to have most of our family and friends staying on site with us at the Inn, and we made so many unforgettable memories. It could not have been a more perfect weekend! We can't wait to come back and visit.

On top of the incredible overall vibe, it was also immediately apparent how wonderful the people are at BVI. When we met Kaitlyn and Diana, it was clear that they were both kind and caring while also being incredibly professional and organized. We knew we would be in excellent hands if we chose BVI as our wedding venue and turns out we were absolutely right! Flash forward to our wedding weekend, everything from the amazing food cooked by Chef Tommy to the kind staff that made us feel so special to the beautiful onsite accommodations for our close friends/family was truly a dream come true. That is just one of the many reasons why this place is so special - It is truly a weekend no one will everyone forget. We so appreciate everything Kaitlyn and her team did for us from beginning to end. All her help during the planning process, how warm, welcoming and accommodating everyone was from the moment we walked in the door, the way she and her staff calmly dealt with the craziness of Friday (how things all changed at the drop of a hat because of a hurricane) and then on our day, the most beautiful day! We keep telling everyone how dinner plates just magically appeared for us and how special our moment alone after the ceremony was. And the whole family keeps talking about how beautiful the Inn is and how they all want to come back. We never felt stressed and I don't think anything went wrong! Tommy's food was unforgettable and everything was incredible! Alex's brother and sister in law lived in Savannah for a long time and they said Tommy's shrimp and grits were the best they have ever had. The pastry chef’s carrot cake and tarts were beautiful and the perfect sweet treat. And to top it all off, the s'mores by the bonfire with the clearest sky and the meteor shower! The whole weekend was just perfect and that is not just because the Inn is amazing; you can really tell that everyone loves what they do and wants to share that. Thank you so much to Kaitlyn, Tommy and all the amazing staff. We can't wait to come back and we look forward to having more special moments there!

Additionally, we used their recommended wedding planner to assist and we couldn't have been more pleased. She helped us scout the perfect band and photographer, and was an essential part of making sure all was on track the month before and on the wedding day. The day of the wedding was flawless. Three years later guests are still talking about the food, menu and pprofessional service. Equally important was the beautiful pastoral setting and kindness of the entire staff which insured a relaxed and joyful weekend for everyone.

Literally, everything went perfectly, from the service to the food (DELICIOUS. People rave about it still to this day; a rarity for wedding food!) and I wouldn't have changed a single thing. far from everything. The Inn holds about 30 people, perfect for the bridal party and family...there is lodging within 20 minutes and many Airbnbs for rent locally. Our ceremony was held next to the Beaverkill River with the sound of the water as our backdrop-could not have been more perfect. The Inn has a separate building which houses a gym, pool, basketball court and game room and a help yourself ice cream parlor! It was perfect for the after party! There are tennis courts and fly fishing - which is what this area of the Catskills is famous for-can be arranged on the world famous (to fly fisherman!) Beaverkill river. The gardens are planted with native plants that fit in perfectly with the landscape- very tastefully done. And the STAFF! we loved working with them. Inn Manager Kaitlyn and events planner Diana were gems-they worked seamlessly with our wedding planner. no detail was left unattended and they went totally above and beyond with their kindness and energy. Chef Tommy - wow. He and his staff turned out this amazing, locally sourced summer feast for our large group. We received so many compliments on the food.

the planning process the staff helped make everything so easy, the world best wedding organizer took care of everything! The weekend of the wedding, in September, was magical and nothing was stressful thanks to the staff. They treated everyone like family and we were so grateful to share our special event with them. My guests found the venue to be relaxing, comfortable and fun, they didn't want to leave! The food was five star and my wedding cake was a hit among all guests! Originally my fiance was afraid of having a large wedding because he thought it would lack an intimate feel while my parents wanted to invite everyone they knew! What a dilemma! Thankfully the weekend at BVI allowed my husband to experience the intimate side while the inn was able to host around 90 wedding guests for the ceremony and reception to please my parents! are a couple living in Brooklyn but knew we wanted a place outside the city in the Catskills and that we wanted a lot of people to stay at the venue and have the whole weekend to celebrate. The Beaverkill Valley Inn exceeded all expectations! First, the property is huge! There are 19 rooms (including a wheelchair accessible room) that our family and friends stayed in Friday-Sunday, which is more rooms than any other place in the Catskills we visited! It was like staying at an Air B&B but with a staff and incredible meals included! The food is all seasonal, local fare and it was incredible from rehearsal dinner Friday night, to breakfast, to the wedding and the cake. They have great local beers on tap! We didn't need to bring in anything, which was such a relief. We had bonfires Friday night & Saturday night, everyone got to hang out and relax, swim in the indoor pool, go for hikes. There are all kinds of game rooms, a self serve ice cream parlor... it felt like grown up camp! The wedding itself was beautiful and the staff was on top of everything, it went so smoothly and I still can't get over how much fun we all had and because we had the whole weekend, we never felt rushed, we could truly enjoy every moment and spend time with everyone. Kathy, the coordinator-- is a pleasure to work with and you can trust that you are in good hands with her and all of the staff, who were just nice, good people who went above and beyond to make our wedding special. We've attended several weddings in the Catskills, but this place is such a gem at such an amazing value and includes so much (especially compared to the high costs of a lot of other venues in that area), I feel like we were in on a secret-- this place is totally under the radar in the best way and our guests were so impressed. The Beaverkill Valley Inn makes it easy and that takes so much of the stress out of wedding planning process, I can't say enough great things about this venue & it's staff.
