Every single photo she provided, and she provided many, was an excellent shot. She also delivered them in the time frame she had quoted. The hardest part has been selecting which photos to print! I couldn’t recommend her more to anyone in the bay area who wants a photographer to capture their special moments.

We had chatted with a number of photographers about our wedding, but it wasn't until we met Becca that we immediately clicked with both her aesthetic sensibilities and her warmth and friendliness. When we started talking to her and working with her, we were also really excited and impressed by her creativity and the way she collaborated to expand on our vision. We had some amazingly ridiculous ideas for our engagement shoot and she affirmed AND added to them; she showed the eff up, and drove around Oakland with us, props and costumes in tow (she even responded to a drunk photo-bomber with grace and grit :P) We were shocked at how much fun we had! Both of us are kind of allergic to canned/posed photos, and Becca has an amazing balance of making sure our heads were tilted the right way so the composition still looks good, but not giving sooo much direction that it would be super stiff and awkward. We were cracking up at some of her prompts: "Okay so Lizzy, I want your shoulders turned this way but your energy going that way" and honestly, it worked! She knows how to cultivate a really nuanced and connected experience by describing things really specifically but leaving a lot of room for our playful interpretation and authenticity. On the wedding day, she brought the same balance of flexibility and strength/leadership. I had at least 2.5 meltdowns, and Becca was kind and solid throughout everything. She got so many amazing shots, and I actually heard from multiple guests about her calm and enthusiastic presence. One thousand percent recommend! Thank you so much, Becca. You're a superstar and we're so thrilled with every element of your work :)

Long story short, we are so thrilled with her during out engagement shoot and wedding day! She was so professional and knew exactly what shots needed to be taken. We recently received all of her photos and we we amazed with how great they were! 100% recommend her for and photography needs!

For our mini-wedding ceremony, she captured our family connections and traditional moments and then we did outdoor couple shots where she played with the changing light. GORGEOUS!!! She is able to capture both people and nature beautifully! We are looking forward to working with Becca again next Spring and might even do a shoot every couple of years after that just for fun =). (Hopefully this will be irrelevant soon but she was excellent and respectful about masking and communicating about COVID boundaries, too.)

EAUTIFUL, waay beyond our expectations! We hashed out the details over the phone a few times before the big day, and she had genuine and helpful ideas and suggestions. Becca lifted so much of the wedding stress for us. Running through the photo sessions and what moments we valued most pretty much planned my whole wedding. She is energetic, clear and a great listener, and I enjoyed talking with her. This is coming from an introvert who wanted a small wedding, but the wedding turn-out was 160 guests because that’s considered small for a Greek and Chinese wedding... We met for the first time the day of the wedding. My mom called her Baby Rambo with her 2 cross body cameras, boots and gear on. Becca is petite but don’t be phased; she was up high, down low, and everywhere she needed to be. Becca advocated for the best quality and easily adapted to any changes that came along the way. She stayed on top of things throughout our wedding, but also had a way of blending in so that the photo moments didn’t dominate our day. Becca selected another professional from her network to join her for the wedding (we wanted two photographers to capture various moments) and we were equally impressed with that photographer’s ability to capture so many special - posed and candid - moments. Not only was Becca willing to wake up early to drive an hour on a winding road up the mountain with us (thanks again, Becca!!), she had coffee ready to go :) Becca was great at planning the weekend with us to make sure we got the photos we wanted, and she was also great about rolling with a few last-minute surprises (such as a friendly bee that was very interested in my bouquet, and preparation schedules that slipped a bit before the ceremony). Of everyone at our wedding, it turned out that we spent the most time with Becca, and she was a joy to be around the entire time. She was fun to work with, her work is wonderful and processing was prompt. Downloading the high resolution photos from her website was straightforward and easy, and our guests were easily able to purchase their own digital versions and hard copies. Two of our wedding guests immediately hired her for their upcoming wedding based on her wonderful photos and positive, fun energy. She captured the spirit of us and our wedding weekend through her photographs, and we feel so lucky that she was a part of our celebration. We can’t recommend Becca enough!

start to finish. We chose to turn our ceremony into an immersive experience that took our guests back in time to the 1920s. The wedding was a Vaudeville Show that started the moment the guests arrived with performances throughout the reception. Becca was there at every moment and always found the perfect angle to capture the emotion, movement, and theatrics of our event. She was extremely generous with her time and truly engaged in our vision. It really felt like she was as excited as we were to be there! What I didn't expect was that who she is as a human being would end up being a damn lifesaver!! We are a queer couple and it was really important to us to feel comfortable with our photographer. Neither of us are particularly adept at being photographed , we were anxious, and it all felt a bit surreal.When we were like headless chickens, clucking around,not knowing what to do, Becca was warm, calm and directive. During our engagement session, we were unbelievably awkward in front of the camera at first, but Becca made us feel at ease immediately.
