If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Becca is simply amazing. She has such a great energy and was fabulous at guiding us through the whole day. She made us feel so comfortable, and the pictures turned out sublime!

Becca did an absolutely amazing job photographing my wedding! Impeccable attention to detail without overwhelming my wife and I with options; her high levels of positivity and professionalism were later commented on by numerous family members, while some folks didn't even notice she was there (her unobtrusive nature allowed for some gorgeous, candid shots). The quality of her photos was of particular note, as there were some vibrant outfits, colorful lighting, and varied skin tones, all captured in their full range of values.

Becca did an incredible job capturing the people and moments of our big day. We absolutely adore our wedding pictures! To start off with, she met us at our venue days before the event to walk through locations for specific shots. She shared her thoughts and was receptive to our preferences if we had any. On the wedding day, she was ready to go before we were (oops!) and made a valiant effort to get to know the names of our entire bridal party (there were 14 of us total). She was energetic and engaging, which set all of us at ease and helped set the vibe for authentic emotions and expressions to shine. My husband and I really felt like we connected with Becca as she took the time to relate to us on a personal level. Bridal party members and guests all commented on how wonderful she was, zipping across the reception area, capturing the magic of the day. Becca delivered both quality and quantity. Every single photo she provided, and she provided many, was an excellent shot. She also delivered them in the time frame she had quoted. The hardest part has been selecting which photos to print! I couldn’t recommend her more to anyone in the bay area who wants a photographer to capture their special moments.

Beyond being an incredibly skilled photographer who made my husband and I look like the best possible versions of ourselves, Becca is also such an incredibly warm and vibrant personality to be around. We had chatted with a number of photographers about our wedding, but it wasn't until we met Becca that we immediately clicked with both her aesthetic sensibilities and her warmth and friendliness. Being uneasy in front of cameras, it was super important for us that we felt comfortable around any photographer that we brought on, and with Becca, it just felt like hanging out and having fun. She had great ideas for photos and she was game for ours as well. The photos made it to us promptly and we couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. We look forward to having another opportunity to work with Becca again!

Becca goes above, beyond, and "Yes, and!" When my guy and I were searching for wedding photographers, we noticed from her galleries that she knew her way around redheads :P and that her candids really captured the character of the people and the energy of the event. When we started talking to her and working with her, we were also really excited and impressed by her creativity and the way she collaborated to expand on our vision. We had some amazingly ridiculous ideas for our engagement shoot and she affirmed AND added to them; she showed the eff up, and drove around Oakland with us, props and costumes in tow (she even responded to a drunk photo-bomber with grace and grit :P) We were shocked at how much fun we had! Both of us are kind of allergic to canned/posed photos, and Becca has an amazing balance of making sure our heads were tilted the right way so the composition still looks good, but not giving sooo much direction that it would be super stiff and awkward. We were cracking up at some of her prompts: "Okay so Lizzy, I want your shoulders turned this way but your energy going that way" and honestly, it worked! She knows how to cultivate a really nuanced and connected experience by describing things really specifically but leaving a lot of room for our playful interpretation and authenticity. On the wedding day, she brought the same balance of flexibility and strength/leadership. I had at least 2.5 meltdowns, and Becca was kind and solid throughout everything. She got so many amazing shots, and I actually heard from multiple guests about her calm and enthusiastic presence. One thousand percent recommend! Thank you so much, Becca. You're a superstar and we're so thrilled with every element of your work :)

My now wife found Becca and was very excited to show me her work. Upon seeing her photographic style I instantly knew that I wanted her to photograph my upcoming wedding as well. Long story short, we are so thrilled with her during out engagement shoot and wedding day! She was so professional and knew exactly what shots needed to be taken. We recently received all of her photos and we we amazed with how great they were! 100% recommend her for and photography needs!

Becca did a fantastic job as our wedding photographer! She is so detailed and plans the day efficiently. The photos turned out so beautiful, everyone looks great and we received so many compliments by family/friends on how good they look! If you’re looking for a photographer for any kind of special event, don’t overthink - just talk to Becca. Becca is a great photographer, and an absolutely wonderful person, and we recommend her enthusiastically and wholeheartedly. Becca has “the eye” for composition, light, and capturing personality. Every photo is a work of art and we look like the best version of ourselves. We are honestly having a hard time choosing which photos to print and display because they are all simply stunning! If we printed and hung all our favorite photos, it would take up our whole house! We were nervous about an engagement photoshoot being awkward, but it was not at all! We had so much fun working with Becca! Becca is easy-going and has a repertoire she can lead you with, but she is also fantastic at just following your lead and capturing the feeling of the moment and going with the flow of whatever feels right in that moment at that location in that lighting. For our mini-wedding ceremony, she captured our family connections and traditional moments and then we did outdoor couple shots where she played with the changing light. GORGEOUS!!! She is able to capture both people and nature beautifully! We are looking forward to working with Becca again next Spring and might even do a shoot every couple of years after that just for fun =). (Hopefully this will be irrelevant soon but she was excellent and respectful about masking and communicating about COVID boundaries, too.)

Becca is wonderful! We feel so so lucky to have worked with her for our engagement and elopement photography. The photos are truly stunning and Becca is just a really great person who was a joy to work with. We were both a little nervous but she is so kind and warm and made us feel totally at ease and comfortable asking questions, which made for an enjoyable planning process. We could really tell she wanted it to be a very positive experience for us and she totally made that happen. Becca recommended doing an engagement shoot as a "warm-up" and I'm really glad we did because 1) I love the photos and 2) we got to know her and got used to the idea of being photographed which made the wedding photos that much better and more fun. We had to cancel our big wedding on April 4, 2020 due to the pandemic and Becca was so accommodating and flexible. We could really tell she just cared about making sure we were taken care of and she made sure we still ended up with a day full of joy and beautiful photos that really capture our love for each other! Becca is the absolute best and such a joy to work with. She shot our engagement session, our elopement in November, and will be shooting our vow renewal next winter. She knows what she's doing and how to put you at ease so she can get the absolute best shots, even if you're camera shy. Becca is THE top-quality professional photographer. She is proactive, organized and passionate about her art. We are very satisfied with her services. We are so happy with how our engagement and wedding photos turned out, and it’s all thanks to Becca! She was a total professional throughout the planning process and had a way of getting my husband and I to loosen up a bit to take beautiful, natural, and fun photos. She stayed on top of things throughout our wedding, but also had a way of blending in so that the photo moments didn’t dominate our day. Becca selected another professional from her network to join her for the wedding (we wanted two photographers to capture various moments) and we were equally impressed with that photographer’s ability to capture so many special - posed and candid - moments. Becca photographed our recent wedding and she was so amazing. We had a great time working with Becca to walk through the weekend events, including a Friday evening shoot for casual photos, photos during our preparations, ceremony, and reception on Saturday, and an earrrrly Sunday morning photoshoot to capture the sunrise. Not only was Becca willing to wake up early to drive an hour on a winding road up the mountain with us (thanks again, Becca!!), she had coffee ready to go :) Becca was great at planning the weekend with us to make sure we got the photos we wanted, and she was also great about rolling with a few last-minute surprises (such as a friendly bee that was very interested in my bouquet, and preparation schedules that slipped a bit before the ceremony). Of everyone at our wedding, it turned out that we spent the most time with Becca, and she was a joy to be around the entire time. She was fun to work with, her work is wonderful and processing was prompt. Downloading the high resolution photos from her website was straightforward and easy, and our guests were easily able to purchase their own digital versions and hard copies. Two of our wedding guests immediately hired her for their upcoming wedding based on her wonderful photos and positive, fun energy. She captured the spirit of us and our wedding weekend through her photographs, and we feel so lucky that she was a part of our celebration. We can’t recommend Becca enough!

We LOVE Becca! She simply ROCKS. We hired her for our wedding at Stern Grove in San Francisco and her photographs absolutely blew us away!! Her fun and upbeat personality put us at ease immediately and she was able to capture the most stunning candid and poised shots throughout the entire event. Where to begin?! Becca is pure genius. My husband and I got married in Vegas and Becca captured EVERYTHING we dreamed of. You can feel the love, emotions, and personality through her photos. We are so happy with our decision to hire Becca as our wedding photographer. When I was researching photographers I called her because I loved that her work felt like a combo of editorial and candid and I really liked her editing style. After working with her it is clear that she is a truly talented photographer, but also a great person! I enjoyed our phone conversations leading up to the wedding and liked her even more once we met in person. We did an engagement shoot prior to the wedding and it turned out to be a wonderful way to work with Becca before the big day so that by the time our wedding rolled around she already felt like an old friend. Our engagement photos are incredible I should add. It was a windy and foggy day, but she was able to use the crazy weather to her advantage and take some amazing photos. Our wedding photos are also gorgeous. Becca has an eye for composition and our portraits are beautiful. She was also right there capturing wonderful candids and epic dance photos that help us remember the day in a joyful way. Becca Henry was the perfect match for our wedding photography needs. Not only are we thrilled with the captivating images, but we loved the entire process of working with her from start to finish. There really aren't words to thank Becca Henry enough for the fabulous-ness that was our wedding. Becca was a pro from beginning to end- an absolute game changer. She was edgy, fun and upbeat throughout the entire even! In all honesty,I chose Becca because I thought her work was beautiful and gritty, really capturing the essence of what she was shooting. What I didn't expect was that who she is as a human being would end up being a damn lifesaver!! We are a queer couple and it was really important to us to feel comfortable with our photographer. Neither of us are particularly adept at being photographed , we were anxious, and it all felt a bit surreal.When we were like headless chickens, clucking around,not knowing what to do, Becca was warm, calm and directive. The wedding itself was pretty non-traditional, and we really didn't want any of the standard poised shots. Her pics were creative, and she even scouted locations for cool shots in advance! She was fabulous at time management- keeping us on schedule to hit the right light/place/time. She had amazing ideas and was like a little ball of energy manipulating herself in the positions to pull them off! She was timely with responses and all the business side of things. Cheers Becca! We cannot recommend Becca more highly as a wedding photographer. She exceeded all expectations we had. My partner and I were both nervous and shy about doing the photos, but from the instant we met Becca she put us at ease. We did an engagement session as well, and we are so glad we did because we got to spend some time with Becca and get to know her before the wedding. We had so much fun at the engagement session (something I didn’t realize was possible) that we were actually looking forward to doing our photos on the wedding day. Becca is an absolute dream come true. Not only does she deliver some of the most amazing photos you could ask for, but she also is just a joy to have around. We found Becca when she photographed a friend’s wedding. We saw their photos afterward, and we knew we wanted her to photograph ours, too! We just had family photo session with Becca .. and I realized that I had never posted a review for the amazing work Becca did at our wedding! We found her on one of our many wedding planning searches. I loved her portfolio! It was artistic and fun. When we met I was taken by her warm and friendly personality. On our big day she rocked it! She was thoughtful, patient, and really helped the day go smoothly. Her easy going personality put my husband and I at ease. She made it fun! After the wedding when we got the photos I was over the moon! They were beautiful, creative, and really captured us and the feeling of our wedding. I’d recommend Becca a million times over! She’s passionate about what she does and you can tell.

Becca shot our wedding in October 2016. She did an incredible job. She is hard working, professional, creative, and so warm and easy to work with. I cannot recommend her more highly for all your photography needs. My husband and I felt so comfortable in her presence and she was able to capture so many amazing moments from this special day. It ended up raining on the day of our wedding, but Becca took full advantage and was able to create the most amazing moody atmosphere in her photos. She was available at the last minute, and a dream to work with. She was easy to get along with, and really listened to my concerns and requests. Her prices were very fair and she really worked with our budget. She used different mediums and presented many artistic shots. She was also one of the hardest working photographers I've ever seen, really getting every shot, and capturing moments I didn't even remember.
