Shannon was our assigned wedding coordinator and I can’t say enough good things about her. She was super helpful and knowledgeable and also very responsive if I needed anything. On the day of, she kept everything running smoothly and on schedule while also giving us time to have fun with our guests. She even picked up our cookie cakes, which were our groom’s cakes, on the morning of our wedding. The farm is a beautiful venue and our guests kept telling us how much they loved it! We got married on a 100 degree day so we were worried about it being hot inside but the ACs were enough to keep everyone cool. We chose Two Forks as our caterer and had two kinds of pasta with green beans and salad and the food was delicious! Two of my favorite things about Beckendorff Farms were 1) their prices were shown with catering and 2) their price included a wedding coordinator. Every other venue I looked at did not include catering with their prices so it was nice how straightforward the price was here. I also liked not having to set up, tear down, coordinate our vendors, or decorate. We dropped off our decorations the night before and everything was set up before our guests arrived for cocktail hour while we were making our way from the church where our ceremony was. Overall, we can’t say enough good things about Beckendorff Farms and how great our wedding there turned out. We can’t recommend it enough!

e best coordinator from the property - Ashley B. She was the sweetest, most organized and punctual coordinator! Property (5/5): Tranquil & peaceful were the two words that popped into my head when we toured BF. The property itself is secluded and private, and there are many photo ops around the outdoor areas of the property (wide grassy areas, lake, trees, wide barn doors, brick walls, etc.). The barn itself and its history are unique and enchanting. The option of having the party indoors/outdoors is perfect for all weather. We had a pretty rainy wedding but everything still turned out beautiful and accommodations for happy hour were changed from outdoors to indoors smoothly. The bridal suite was beautiful and we absolutely loved the second floor overlook in the barn where we privately enjoyed our dinner during the reception. Management & Service (5/5): Every staff member (owner, coordinator, gatekeeper/helper) at BF were phenomenal!! Ashley was especially sweet and welcoming. We looked forward to our meetings with her, and were so grateful for her guidance in creating the seating chart and day-of schedule. We met two times and had many email/text correspondence to ensure everything was covered and ran smoothly. Blake (owner) was also very accommodating with allowing our wedding party to get ready 2 hours earlier than the allocated time (with extra fees) since we wanted to utilize the bridal suite for our church ceremony in Sugar Land. On the day of, my husband decided to surprise me with a friends dance at the reception and Ashley gracefully accommodated his day-of request and ensured everything ran smoothly. She is an absolute angel! Overall, my husband and I cannot stop raving about BF and how booking them was one of the best (and most hassle-free) decisions we made for our special day. Every single person we dealt with on their staff was so kind, helpful and professional. Our wedding day coordinator was Ashley Beckendorff. After our first meeting with her, I knew she was God sent. In fact, I call her “Angel Ashley” because that’s exactly what she was to us! She has a very special way of immediately making you feel more relaxed and peaceful even in the midst of all the details. She is truly dedicated to making her bride’s visions come to fruition. She also has a great team to assist her as well. (A big shout out to awesome Jordan!) The Beckendorff family and their breathtakingly beautiful farm are treasures and true gifts to the community. They really do make dreams come true.

I felt so much more confident. She not only is a hard worker, organizer, and on top of things, but she's so positive and sweet, and my husband and I really enjoyed working with her--we're now friends on Facebook with her! I would text her anytime throughout planning and she answered right away. The venue was so open to us going to look at it whenever possible, and we really didn't have any issues. I think I got to visit, like, 5 times! I told Ashley my vision and she helped make it happen. It was also so nice to have her there decorating, taking pictures, and ensuring all the of the vendors were on top of it/showed up. I can't say enough about how great this venue was to me, and I really think I had the best experience I could've hoped for, for our wedding.

A big plus of this venue over others is they include a wedding planner in the cost. We were assigned Caroline and we couldn't have been more pleased. Everything came together so smoothly and beautifully and all the staff have an uncanny knack of making you feel like this is their "first" or "only" wedding reception... it is that important to them. They work so hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is perfect. It also didn't go unnoticed how professional the staff was with working with the outside vendors, especially the photographer, videographer & DJ to make sure everything stayed on schedule. I just can't say enough good things; we were blessed to be able to have this venue and will look back fondly for years to come!

s like yes this is where I want to get married! The rustic and elegant feel of the barn is breathtaking. We had an outdoor ceremony which almost got rained out, but ended up being beautiful and sunny at the last second. Our wedding coordinator was Ashley and she was sooo helpful and awesome! She kept me calm while it was raining all morning and I was worrying about ceremony plans changing. It all worked out and Ashley was so great with keeping everyone on time and kept the night flowing smoothly. Thank you Ashley!!

We were assigned Melissa for our day of coordinator and she was AMAZING!! I really do not have enough words. She is so responsive, and really knows what she is doing. She stayed on top of everything and really took charge. From our first meeting I had no worries that she was going to get stuff done and handle everything. She really did make the wedding day stress free! The venue is amazingly beautiful all on it's own. From the rustic feel, to the beautiful chandeliers.....I had so many people throughout the night tell me how perfect the venue was. I even had more than one single guy tell me if they had this venue where they lived the would want to have their wedding here! I am so glad we decided to have our wedding at Beckendorff and would recommend them time and time again!

Once things started getting a little crazy with COVID, Blake called me and was very understanding with everything going on and helped us figure out a new date. We got Shannon as our coordinator and I HIGHLY suggest you request her! She totally has your back throughout the whole process, she even said she would call guests for me who were late to RSVP! There is nothing Shannon wouldn't do for her brides! If anything went wrong, day of, I had no clue! Shannon and Jordan were so great all day/night and really made Beckendorff stand out that much more. If you are trying to decide between venues, definitely go with Beckendorff you will not be disappointed at all!

as right. When we went on the tour we really fell in love. It's just such a gorgeous place and they really take care of their couples. They were so patient with us when my parents had special requests and lots of questions- especially with the whole COVID situation. They were very accommodating and a true pleasure to work with. Caroline was my coordinator and she was so amazing! She took care of everything and as far as anyone is aware nothing went wrong the day of! They really made all our wedding dreams come true. I'm so glad we chose to have our wedding here!

ve us a tour and he was so down to earth it definitely made us like the place even more. Everything was thorough and clear on the contracts so we knew what we could bring in and what can't. I understand some other venues are a little more lax and some Brides/Grooms would want certain things at their wedding. I would advise you to read through the paperwork, we were fine with the restrictions because they were reasonable to us. We've visited a few other venues and it didn't give us that WOW feeling like we had when we first step foot in Beckendorff. I liked the fact they offered many things in their package, my favorite was the day of coordinator. We were assigned to Caroline and it was a match made in heaven. She was the best thing that ever happened during wedding planning and our wedding day. She is extremely informative, organize, and stern but nice at the same time. She helped me with all my questions in regards to planning and what was needed or not. On my wedding day, I had an issue with my photographer (he was marching at he beat of his own drum) and Caroline was there to keep us on time and moving things along. Our wedding day was perfect and we did not notice any blunders. I'm not even sure if there were any. They have multiple day of coordinators and I highly recommend Caroline. I'm not sure if there's a request process but ask for her, you won't be disappointed.

She had so many great suggestions that I didn't think of. She helped get everything ready the day of, she was in contact with all of the vendors for us ensuring they had all the information for the day of, she took stress off of my family on my wedding day so we could relax. We were really excited when we got Shannon as our coordinator since we knew how amazing she was from all the reviews! Well, fast forward to the second week of March when the coronavirus chaos started... BF staff (Paige, Blake, Shannon) were super supportive about our decision to postpone the wedding 4 days before. Not only that, but we were able to postpone for a near future. And with the help of Shannon, all vendors agreed to postpone at no extra cost. Shannon also helped my husband plan the most intimate and sweeted little post ceremony celebration with the few guests we decided to have our ceremony with on our original date. These are the things that will forever stay in our hearts and memory. BF staff are all gems and we will forever be grateful for their kindness.

our daughter's wedding at Beckendorff Farms last Saturday (2/22/20), and I was incredibly impressed with the venue. As the father of the bride, my expectations were high, and BF more than met my expectations. Shannon was absolutely amazing. She was pleasant, personable, and in complete control of the entire event. She efficiently worked with our vendors, kept everything on track, and was always there telling us what to expect next. She was an absolute pleasure, and even humored me when I went off script to provide a surprise for my beautiful daughter. Shannon's job starts far in advance of the actual day, and all of her hard work and preparation is so evident on 'game day'. I can't possibly describe the beauty of the venue, but picture complete serenity in a romantic setting. The outside area for the ceremony was by a quiet pond, and the outside reception area provides a beautiful view of the property, with a large gathering area. The inside of the barn is laid out perfectly, and is large enough to hold a very large guest list. The bar and serving area is efficiently located. I would be remiss if I didn't mention all of the compliments we received about the wedding. Our guests raved not only about the event, they couldn't stop talking about the venue and how well everything was planned. Our phones have literally been blowing up with texts and e-mails since Saturday...and Beckendorff Farms is a huge reason why!!! As a parent, you want the best for your kids, and that necessarily includes wanting their wedding to be perfect...even though you know things are going to go wrong (like forgetting the veil!!!). Do yourself a favor, and lessen a lot of that stress by choosing to have the wedding at Beckendorff Farms. You will not regret your decision!!!

other "late" arrivals. Was only told that it was the brides wishes and that it was corporate policy to not allow us access. We were not told how long or if we would be allowed entry. You can only imagine that after a 3 hour drive and dealing with I10 traffic and construction that we were very frustrated and might have used a few colorful words. We finally gained access and made the reception but an hour in, I was greeted by the local police asking me to leave. No reason was given other than the OWNER wanted me to leave the premises. I/We left without incident but were never told directly what we did wrong and why we had to leave. You may dismiss this as a one-off incident but how many of you want to subject your family and friends to an OWNER that could ruin your wedding day with haphazard unbridled control...

o book BF on short notice since outdoor summer weddings in Texas are not very popular. We held our reception here since our ceremony had to be held at our religious center but everything was perfect. Our guests having fun was most important to us as we planned and we were hesitant to book a reception venue almost an hour away from the ceremony but would not change one thing looking back. Shannon (MVP), her team and Blake were all very helpful whenever we had questions and a pleasure to work with. We met with Shannon on our designated meeting days which were productive but also like meeting up with an old friend. She will help make your wedding dreams come to fruition. This venue is unlike any other with it's own charm and history. Our guests were in awe upon entering and we were told by most that this was the best wedding they had ever attended. Hannah at Edges Wild Studio added her own magic to BF to make it look even better the night of and I'd highly recommend pairing BF + Edges Wild, they make one hell of a team. Don't think twice about booking here, you will love every bit!

Blake, the owner, is wonderful to work with and really flexible. It makes the whole experience so easy and smooth. Also the pictures here are STUNNING. Second, Shannon and her team: Shannon and her team are the BOMB!! Everyone was beyond impressed with how beautiful and perfect the wedding turned out. One of my dad's friends said he didn't care what his son wanted, he was going to make him get married at Beckendorff. They are beyond organized, helpful and efficient. Can't recommend Beckendorff and it's team enough. If I had to do it again I wouldn't change a single thing. Shannon is such a great, fun person to work with. She is so talented and experienced; she made everything run so smoothly the day of. She went the extra mile and exceeded our expectations. We had a latin wedding and put her to the test by having her do her first Hora Loca ("crazy hour"). It was a huge success!! Also, she knows all the best spots around the barn and helped the photographers take the most beautiful shots ever. There aren't enough words to describe her amazingness.

Everyone that I worked with at Beckendorff was 150% accommodating to our needs--we had our engagement shoot there, I had my bridals done there, and there were a couple of on-site meetings prior to the day of with our coordinator, Shannon. With our engagement shoot and my bridals, we were let on site and then left to do our thing with the photographer. There wasn’t anyone who really was in our faces. It was awesome! We basically had the place to ourselves. Let me brag about Shannon for a moment-- when my sister-in-law got drunk and puked (not in the bathroom or outdoors) the first thing I worried about was my parents’ security deposit. Shannon was quick to track down my mother-in-law and get them to cover the cost of cleanup- which was a relief. Shannon also left the venue that morning to go get me a kid-size fries from Chick Fil A (it was the only thing I could keep down) and to get my mother a diet frozen lemonade. We had been ordering off doordash, but Chick Fil A won’t deliver fries or frozen drinks because it’s a “quality concern”. I thought it was really nice of her to get fries and the frozen lemonade for us, since I would have easily just not had anything else but water. I could literally text her whenever, and she would respond to my concerns. At one point, the timeline was all wrong (from what I had pictured in my head) and she immediately changed most of the wrong things- and explained to me why other things were when they were. She also read all of our contracts for us in order to coordinate all of our other vendors so that we didn’t have to answer too many questions the day of. Literally all we had to focus on was getting our hair and makeup done, taking pictures, and relaxing before the ceremony. She also kept us on track during the reception--my husband and I are really social and there’s NO sense of how fast time is moving on your wedding day- so we got involved in the conversations as we went around to everyone’s table and I’m not sure we would have gotten to cake in time, or toasts, or any of the usual reception events if Shannon hadn’t been there to prompt us along. I can’t tell you how beautiful literally everything was on the day of our wedding. The property itself is gorgeous, and the barn is just PERFECT inside and out. We had a perfect day and a big part of that was making the decision to get married at Beckendorff Farms!

that really sets this place apart is the staff. They provide a day-of coordinator as part of the package and it goes such a long way towards making the day less stressful. Our coordinator, Shannon, was the best. She took care of things like the wedding day timeline and keeping us on schedule, moving the ceremony from inside to outside at the last minute and when I had an adrenaline spike and started shaking she took me to her secret hiding place to calm me down! We had an amazing fairytale-like day and I could not be more pleased with the experience.

We met Blake (owner) and he was soooo nice and down-to-earth. He was working on the farm in his overalls! He gave us a tour of the farm. The moment we stepped into the barn, we just knew. You know that butterfly feeling you get in stomach when you’re completely in awe, well we both felt it. We knew then that BF was our place. (We toured over 10 venues prior.) Majority of the time we were communicating with Paige via email. She was always patient and kind despite my gazillion questions. She answered right away!! I don’t think the girl even sleeps. Everyone was unbelievably accommodating! On the day of our wedding, my (then) fiancé and the groomsmen were out fishing at BF. They had a blast! Blake even dropped by and gave them live bait!! So sweet! And the MVP goes to Mrs. Shannon Moore. She was our wedding coordinator. I didn’t meet her until a month before our wedding, but she has that personality that people just click with immediately. She made sure I had my dream wedding from the beginning to the end. I wanted a special bouquet toss and our florist forgot to add ribbons and Shannon literally went out of her way to make sure I got what I wanted. She’s just unbelievable. OH! My dress was really long even when it was bustled, Shannon was on the ground putting safety pins while I was dancing. I mean who does that? If I had known her before, I would have made her my Matron of Honor! Haha. All in all, I am beyond happy and grateful to the Beckendorff family/team. My wedding was PERFECT! Hands down the best wedding, we’ve ever attended. Not being biased or anything. :) From the bottom of out hearts, thank you so much for the best day of our lives. n was spot on. Can you believe that when my daughter's (something borrowed) earrings hook broke - she fixed it with one of her own hooks. Then because they were now uneven - she fixed the other side to match! I was sweating as the mother of the bride needless to say and she was as cool as a cucumber. We also had planned on an outside wedding which had to be changed to inside due to the weather. Shannon physically helped my husband and I get our arbor flowers to work in the new space. Of course they looked stunning! We also got so many raving compliments about the BBQ from Café Natalie too ( and not just from the grooms guests from New York - I am talking from seasoned BBQ Texans) !! A++ on everything!
