hicago area. We had planned on having a smaller wedding initially and COVID turned it into an elopement! Becky was there every step of the way helping us find new solutions and giving us options and advice as we reworked our wedding day. Her communication is extremely prompt and it felt great to have her support as I was panicking trying to navigate our wedding during a pandemic! Her experience with small weddings and elopements was very valuable to us, and it was so much fun hanging around the city taking pictures! Another thing - my husband and I aren’t really into taking a lot of pictures and we don’t always feel like we’re the most photogenic people, so we were a little nervous about how our wedding photos would turn out. We got some preview photos from Becky very soon after our ceremony and we are absolutely in love with them! The moments she captured were stunning. Working with her was so easy and comfortable, she helped us let our natural happiness, joy, and love shine through in our photos. She helped make our day so special and I know that our gallery from her will help us cherish all of those moments from our wedding day. I cannot recommend her enough!

She works with awesome vendors - minister, hair/makeup, florist - which makes everything so incredibly easy, especially if you're planning to elope (she has a company called Elope to Chicago). She has been doing this forever, so she has great tips and advice and I soaked it up. On the day of our wedding, I let her take the lead and I am so glad I did; she sent us a few pics that night and they are AMAZING. I cannot wait to see the rest of the photos. Becky's personality helps to get you the photos you are looking for and realistically assess the situation so you are able to enjoy the celebration you've spent so long planning! She is quick to adapt when things like weather or location maybe don't work out as you initially planned. We booked Becky after she photographed my sister's wedding and we were very impressed by her photos and enjoyed working with her. She has since photographed our good friend's wedding in addition to our own. She is doing fewer large weddings as time goes on, so if you are planning a bigger celebration be sure to reach out early! If a smaller, more intimate wedding is your thing , even better! Our wedding was 200 guests and our second shooter, Carrie, was also great to have with us! (her photos are also amazing!) Quality photography comes at a price, but Becky's pricing is truly on the more affordable end in comparison to many other photographers in the area and worth every penny. During your planning process you'll also find Becky's experience to come in handy in ways you may not have anticipated. She has great suggestions on additional vendors, timelines and even family dynamics (last thing you need is group photos causing a ruckus). Lastly, her prints are amazing. I didn't believe it until I saw the difference of buying prints from her vs. printing on our own - but there's a noticeable difference. She will occasionally have a sale on prints so be on the lookout for those if you don't purchase right away!

, Becky and her assistant were both fantastic. They helped make sure everyone stayed on schedule and all the right moments were captured. They were also really fun to be around - which is super important when you're hanging out with your photographers all day!!! I loved that Becky put some preview photos up the next day. hey made sure we got all of the important shots that we wanted with friends and family. Becky was so professional and friendly from our very first meeting. She is detail-oriented and wrote out some possible timelines for us to help us envision how the wedding day would go. We didn't want a lot of "getting ready" photos and she was totally cool with that-- she never pressured us into anything. She's very organized, with all of her contract and payments being online through her website. She also has a pre-wedding online survey and she scheduled a phone call with us to make sure she was totally prepared before our wedding day. If you follow her on Facebook, she posts a set of "preview pics" just 24 hours after the wedding, which is so awesome!! We are so happy with the previews and can't wait to see the full set of photos. Becky Brown does a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
