Bedford Post Inn

le coves and so many beautiful corners of the barn, but it’s also cozy and thoughtful. It felt like a fairytale to have all our favorite people together there. We had a feeling we were in good hands from the food tasting. The food was AMAZING, and the service was so attentive, warm, and kind. I was genuinely excited to have the Bedford Post Inn team be part of our wedding and all the planning leading up to it, which I can’t say about every part of the wedding industry! As beautiful as the setting was, the team is what made the weekend unforgettable. Ruby somehow thought of everything, including bringing us samples of our signature cocktails and appetizers while we were taking photos after the ceremony so we didn't miss a thing! I’ve been telling people about that ever since. The bartenders were wonderful, especially Robin, who brought amazing energy and even joined in for a “Proud Mary” dance. The dinner staff was just as attentive, and our friends are *still* talking about the food. I don’t usually order beef carpaccio, but even I was raving about it. And serving a hot, delicious dinner to more than 90 people? I’m still impressed (and still getting texts from friends about how great the food was!). Even the little moments meant so much. The Inn’s managers helped carry my dress train, tracked down lost belongings, and took the time to sit and talk with us as we soaked it all in. By the end of the weekend, the whole team felt like family. It was the most joyful day of our lives, and Bedford Post Inn made it more wonderful than we imagined (and trust me, we imagined it). We can’t wait to come back for our anniversaries (and the rooms are GORGEOUS too!).

g and details leading up to the wedding, as well as executing the night itself. The grounds are thoughtfully and beautifully maintained, the rooms are very pretty and well-appointed with lovely details (expensive, I'll admit, but we considered this basically "our venue fee" to book it all out), and the food is DELICIOUS. Your wedding night flow may feel a little untraditional depending on how you map out the ceremony, dinner, and dancing: for example, we had cocktail hour outside, dinner inside, and dancing and dessert back outside, so you have to think through your "grand entrance" since the dancefloor is not with the dining, etc. My husband and I would get married at BPI over and over again. The venue has a je ne sais quoi that is undeniable. As an FYI, because I'm still obsessed: we did a family-style dinner with the prime rib, roasted chicken, glazed carrots, mashed potatoes. Our starters were bread rolls, a caesar salad, and a beets appetizer. Folks, when I tell you THE ROLLS are to die for, the caesar salad isn't creamy and it's perfectly refreshing, the beets are out of this world, and EVERYONE WAS OBSESSED WITH THE STUPIDLY GOOD CARROTS, I'm really that serious. The only "downside" is you need to secure an outdoor tent in the chance of inclement weather, so you are out a few grand if you choose to forego it (and the grounds are so pretty that we definitely took the risk and didn't take the tent, and it paid off since the weather held off). PS, maybe they don't want this public, they list themselves as 100 person venue. You can technically squeeze a little more into the farmhouse dining area. It's "full," don't get me wrong, but when the room is buzzing with energy from all your loved ones, trust me, it's no problemo.

taff were exceedingly wonderful. Not to mention how beautiful the grounds were and how delicious the food was. Staying on property also made the night for us and our families feel even more magical. I highly highly recommend this location for a wedding.

say anything negative about this venue or the people that work here. We still come back to Campagna and the Barn for lunch/dinner and everyone recognizes us and is so friendly. From the very beginning, the events team was BEYOND amazing. They went out of their way to help us with absolutely everything. I also didn't have a wedding coordinator, and would not have been able to get through the day without the staff at the Bedford Post. Malinda and Jonna took care of everything, and Malinda was on site the entire night to make my vision come to life. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect...from wrangling in the groomsmen, to creating an amazing ambiance throughout the entire wedding, everything was just perfect. You can tell that they really, truly care about you and want to do anything they can in order to make you happy. We went back a few times with our photographer and just to view the grounds before the wedding, and they made us feel welcome every single time - let us view the rooms and walk around the entire space. I couldn't believe how responsive they were about every single question, or anything I was thinking about at the time. They made me feel comfortable so I was able to make it through the day with no worries at all!!! The space and grounds created the perfect romantic ceremony/reception and after party that we could have ever imagined. I can't express how beautiful it was. And words can't describe how good the food was. If you're a foodie like we are, you need to try this Michael White menu. We needed to be rolled out in a wheelbarrow after the tasting because we tried pretty much everything on the menu, and finished it all. We made a point as the bride and groom to eat the food at the wedding because we knew how good it was going to be. And we're still drooling over it! Also, the food at the after party was PERFECT for after drinking. The chicken fingers and fries really hit the spot, and it was the perfect ambiance for making smores by the fire! I really can't say enough great things about everything at the Bedford Post Inn. Absolutely everything exceeded our expectations and created the perfect night for our wedding. Thank you guys for everything!
