Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa

Our wedding at the Omni Bedford Springs resort was so magical! The venue is gorgeous and the banquets team took excellent care of us and our guests. Being able to have the ceremony and reception in the same venue as well as getting hair and makeup done in the spa made planning so much easier. Our contact Gianna was so helpful in getting the details just right and making us feel like VIPs during the entire experience. The food was excellent and the pricing was transparent in the wedding brochure so there were no surprises. We can't wait to spend future anniversaries and other special occasions at the Omni. One note we did want to mention is that due to the historical nature of the resort, not all ballrooms are easily accessible for wheelchairs or luggage carts (you need to go up a half flight of stairs to enter the room or go through the kitchen and take service elevators). That said, the Omni staff were very accommodating and provided 5 star service.

We threw our daughter's wedding at the Omni Bedford Springs. It was a destination wedding where half of the guests flew in from Europe. Every single person was gobsmacked by how lovely this property is and how exquisitely helpful and nice all of the staff are. We have been coming here for a Fall vacation from Washington DC for about 15 years so we always hoped our daughter would want to get married here. Every single person from the valet to Jungle at the front door to the people checking us in were outstanding and oh so kind. And we have stayed in so many rooms at the hotel and each one is perfectly appointed. Let me start from the beginning of the wedding planning with Gianna Dominico. This was a 14 month planning process with a weekend of parties and Gianna handled every detail with aplomb and good cheer. There was never a question that she could not solve! It was an absolute delight to work with her and I hope I will see her in the years to come when we visit. The other great thing about Gianna is the vendors she recommended - they were spectacular!!!! I am about to have my wrap up call with my wedding planner (whom Gianna recommended and was fantastic) - during that call she says she will tell me all the things they were handling behind the scenes that I never knew about - I am sure Gianna was helping in every detail! But seriously if you want to plan a stress free wedding surrounded by absolute beauty everywhere you look and the nicest people to take care of you, stop reading this and call Gianna! Also, many of the guests were international and many others from big cities in America - and so many of them said that the wedding food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. Some, including me, said the Chilean sea bass was the best sea bass we ever had! The kitchen at the Omni is world class. We began the wedding on Wednesday night with a dinner for 25 at the Steak House (1796 Room) at the hotel - not only did they set up our table exactly the way we requested (last minute!), but they stayed open later to accommodate our large party. And the food and wine were SPECTACULAR!!!!! Have I mentioned the lobby bar? The bartenders are of such good cheer and make the best drinks! And the atmosphere is so elegant as well as cozy. We also made a lot of use of the outstanding golf course and the outdoor terrace to eat lunches at Tillie's at the Clubhouse. The ballroom looked spectacular thanks to Gianna, the wedding planner, the florist etc - and having the cocktails on the veranda overlooking the property before the wedding was extremely elegant. We had a wedding breakfast the next day and people are still talking about it - everything was DELICIOUS and the Nutella french toast took the house down! Well I should probably wrap up but I literally could go on and on because we were pleased beyond our greatest expectations and our expectations were very big. Don't miss the Spa (gorgeous) and the lovely hikes right out the front door of the property!
