Bee Pretty Makeup Artistry & Eyelash Extensions

It was just a few weeks before my wedding and I still hadn't booked a make-up artist to do makeup for myself (the bride), my mother, and future mother in law. I called around to referrals from friends and had trouble finding someone who would travel to Westlake Village and could squeeze me in on short notice - who also had a lot of experience. Then I found Vanessa at Bee Pretty on The Knot and everything came together! Vanessa responded promptly to every one of my emails and calls, she was a sheer pleasure to work with, was so patient when I was clueless about the "look" I wanted for the big day, and did an exquisite job on the makeup application. She was on time, had a smile on her face - despite the awfully early hour we had to start getting ready - and made last minute changes when I felt that I wanted a little something different on the eyes. I have and will continue to recommend Vanessa to anyone who is looking for a make-up artist. Vanessa is an amazing woman! She did my makeup for my recent wedding and everyone commented how beautiful I looked and what an amazing job she did! My aunt and hairdresser (who were watching her do my makeup) had nothing but praises to sing! I am a pretty natural chick and rarely wear foundation/concealer etc and was nervous that I would look to fake and made-up. I was put to ease at our first meeting as she explained the makeup process. She kept in touch often and was completely professional. Vanessa is sweet, honest, and a great person. It is her personality and love for her job that makes her so great. I never in my life have needed the use of makeup artist but if I ever do again it will for sure be Vanessa! If you use her, you wont regret it!

Less than a month before my wedding, I was in a panic because the salon I had originally booked to do my makeup cancelled on me! I contacted Vanessa from Bee Pretty and she came through for me. She was able to do my makeup trial right away and was available on the day of my wedding. Both during the trial and on the day of, she worked with me to get the exact look that I wanted, and I've never seen my makeup look that beautiful before. She pays special attention to shading, and her color combinations were excellent. Also, I was worried about my makeup coming off easily, but it stayed on the entire day. I only touched up once between the ceremony and reception. I would recommend her 100%!

Vanessa of Bee Pretty is absolutely amazing! I was so happy with how she did my make up and she needed little direction at all, only ideas of what look I wanted to go for. She is a pro! I had a large wedding party with 7 bridesmaids and then myself for her to make up. She works so efficiently that the time it took didn't feel crunched at all. Every bridesmaid looked absolutely gorgeous. My make up was absolutely perfect, I barely had to touch up at all the entire night. I highly recommend Vanessa's work for any of your make up needs!
