Then I found Vanessa at Bee Pretty on The Knot and everything came together! Vanessa responded promptly to every one of my emails and calls, she was a sheer pleasure to work with, was so patient when I was clueless about the "look" I wanted for the big day, and did an exquisite job on the makeup application. She was on time, had a smile on her face - despite the awfully early hour we had to start getting ready - and made last minute changes when I felt that I wanted a little something different on the eyes. I have and will continue to recommend Vanessa to anyone who is looking for a make-up artist. Both during the trial and on the day of, she worked with me to get the exact look that I wanted, and I've never seen my makeup look that beautiful before. She pays special attention to shading, and her color combinations were excellent. Also, I was worried about my makeup coming off easily, but it stayed on the entire day. I only touched up once between the ceremony and reception. I would recommend her 100%!
