reception was everything we wanted & more!!! She is totally on top of her game, she is honest & has incredible taste -- which is everything you need to have your vision come to life. We had a large Italian & Irish wedding - the dance floor separated our families .. and brought them together perfectly! The set up was amazing - with the party centered around the dance floor, the beautiful chapel held our photo booth, desserts & memory table where people could take a break from dancing & enjoy each others company. The staff was incredible - friendly, fun & so accommodating!! They also made sure the groom & I had time to actually eat - which really shows you how much they care for their guests!! I cannot even begin to describe how incredible the food was -- every single person (picky eaters included) told us the food was cooked to perfection & tasted even better!!! Chef Anthony accommodated my crazy Italian mother's request for family style pasta at every table - which was EXACTLY what every one wants... delicious, pasta! The entire evening was so perfect - I truly cannot put in to words exactly how happy we are!! We would love to relive this night over & over again and we wouldn't change a single thing!!! I also have to add the rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable & the perfect size for a bridal party to get beautified in!! The entire staff at the Beechwood Hotel is amazing!! This place is an absolute gem and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding experience so memorable!

ional chapel which adjoins the ballroom. They have some beautiful outdoor spaces to get pictures taken too, so you can stay closeby and actually enjoy the cocktail hour when pictures are done. Guests can also stay in boutique hotel which is really lovely. The entire staff associated with the wedding was terrific - the event planner was knowledgeable and resourceful and I always felt like ours was the only event she was working on, because she was so responsive to my emails and calls, and so on top of every detail! It's been 6 weeks since the wedding and the compliments are still rolling in about the venue and the food. People were raving about the food - I have had seven different people tell me how delicious the marsala steak tips were. Two members of the immediate family have celiac disease and the chef, Jon Paradis, went out of his way to create an amazing meal for us. We had a brunch menu and he set aside a brand new waffle iron so that we could have freshly made gluten free waffles, also made amazing Eggs Benedict on real English muffins!!! I never got beyond those two foods, so sadly can only dream of the chicken piccata and the marinated steak tips that everyone else was talking about! I am also still deeply grateful to the chef for deep frying five hundred appetizers that the groom's family arrived with, which we had not planned on. His flexibility and kindness really saved the day. Another thing I want to especially mention is the people who were serving: Numerous people told me how much they loved talking to the servers during the cocktail hour. They were warm and friendly and so helpful and made our guests feel so at ease! At one point, I was in search of a group of people, and the server literally put down what she was doing and joined me in the search. There just was nothing they wouldn't do to make our day perfect! I recommend the Beechwood Hotel extremely highly and would encourage everyone to consider this great venue!

She exceeded our expectations as a wedding coordinator! This was key for us, as the bride and groom are medical students in Maryland, so the wedding was planned across state lines! Erin and the staff at the Beechwood did not miss a beat! We had many, many phone calls and e mails. Erin was so patient with all the questions and concerns. The vendor list provided by the Beechwood was a great resource and we LOVED all our choices! The ballroom was lovely and we were lucky to have beautiful weather, so the cocktail reception was on the terrace. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! The wait staff was kind and very professional. All of our guests enjoyed the reception, their accommodations and the spectacular Sunday brunch! It was a fabulous wedding weekend and The Beechwood Hotel was the perfect site for the event of a lifetime!

llroom was an ideal set up for an elegant and flawless reception. The staff, led by Elisabeth, went above and beyond for us. They turned our vision into a reality and made it completely stress free. Their attention to detail, responsiveness to phone calls/emails, list of vendors and overall guidance during the entire process was unparalleled. The beautiful hotel complete with breakfast and a great bar is just the icing on the cake. We would absolutely recommend having a wedding at the Beechwood! It was honestly the best decision we made while planning our wedding!

We got so many compliments on the food, and the service was on point! There were also several things included in our wedding package that made things so much easier, such as including our cake in the cost. We had several people comment on how elegant and beautiful the reception was, and our guests were very happy with their stay at the Beechwood. Would highly recommend!

th any of our other vendors (many of whom we gave 4.5+ stars already). The Beechwood Hotel was truly bad enough to elicit negative comments from us, which is really saying something. We were truly embarrassed by the Beechwood’s utter lack of hospitality. Since our wedding was out of town for most of our guests, we booked a wedding block with the Beechwood for our guest's lodging. Our ceremony and reception was held at the College of the Holy Cross. To emphasize our grievances more clearly and concisely, I'll list them below: 1) The staff of the Beechwood convinced us to book a smaller block, promising a warning call and the opportunity to book more rooms as the hotel filled up. WE RECEIVED NO SUCH CALL, and we quickly RAN OUT OF ROOMS IN OUR BLOCK as a result. Many of our guests had to make alternative arrangements. 2) Abysmal customer service. We received numerous angry phone calls (>10 calls) from family and friends saying that the Hotel’s front desk was very rude to them during the booking process. They were also rude to us when we called. We complained about this to the wedding coordinator, but nothing was done about it. 3) The abysmal customer service that prefaced our wedding was even worse in-person. The front desk was incredibly rude and snobbish to many of our guests (and us). 4) NOBODY BOTHERED TO CLEAN OUR BRIDAL SUITE, SO WE SPENT OUR WEDDING NIGHT IN A DIRTY, UNMADE ROOM. We were promised that our bridal suite, which I used to get dressed/hair done/made-up with all eight of my bridesmaids, would be cleaned while we were gone so that we would have a romantic setting for our wedding night. Instead, we spent the eve of our wedding sleeping next to a stale pitcher of mimosa with the room in complete disarray. How romantic. 5) We later discovered that the HOTEL DIDN'T GIVE US A PROPER BRIDAL SUITE. We were none-the-wiser until one of our guests mentioned how nice and roomy her room was and how she really enjoyed the fireplace. That was supposed to be ours. I’m glad someone got to enjoy it. 6) The hotel gave away the room of one of our guests and did not provide any compensation for their mistake. The 1 star rating that we provided the Beechwood Hotel is based solely on its elegant style, attractive aesthetics, and convenient location. Other than that, we could not be more dissatisfied with the Hotel.

We chose the roasted chicken and the salmon for dinner entrees, pecorino and pancetta mashed potatoes and roasted root vegetables. The guests raved about the food. For apps during cocktail hour, my favorite was the scallops wrapped in bacon. The bartenders at Ceres helped up choose a signature drink that the guests really enjoyed. Yvonne helped make the venue look amazing. She took all of the decorations we had, and decorated the venue perfectly. Yvonne also helped out tremendously throughout the process. She scheduled meetings to help us plan and decide all of the details of the wedding. She was easy to work with and always friendly. Sometimes it was easier to contact her via phone versus email for quick questions. Ceres entertained our guests after the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding as well as after the wedding. The guests enjoyed having a place to continue to celebrate after the wedding had ended. The morning after the wedding, our guests enjoyed the award-winning brunch at the Beechwood. Many have said they will be returning for the brunch alone! We had a wonderful experience and will be revisiting for our anniversary! Best of luck planning your wedding and the Beechwood Hotel is well worth looking in to!

It POURED rain on my wedding day but the Beechwood was prepared, lending guests huge umbrellas and having valets bring cars right up to the doors so that no one would get wet. Simple requests such as the number of people at the head table we had to fight over. Ever request I made was a fight. The Beechwood caused me more stress than any vendor I had.
