I couldn't be happier with the look of our wedding! Eric & Carolyn brought our vision to life, from the chuppah, to the aisle runners, the centerpieces, all of the pieces for the bridal party, it was just perfect! I'm thrilled with how it all came together.

This November will be 30 years of marriage to the man of my dreams. I look back at my wedding with so much gratitude for such a beautiful day in my life. It was shared with so many others there to support us in our journey as a couple. Eric was one of them. I will never forget his going above and beyond to make sure the flowers were perfect. The bouquets were so much more than I hoped they would be. He even helped straighten the train on my wedding dress before I walked down the aisle. I take every chance I get to tell people about Bee's when they are wedding planning. I have no regrets.

My husband and I selected Bee's because they understood our look and feel for our wedding even though we did not have a specific idea of how to convey the look. Eric was great in planning and coming up with ideas. He definitely listed to use more than any other florists/decor companies we met with. We were very happy with the final product, but we did run into some communication issues along the way. We may have encountered some bad timing, but it was sometimes hard to get in touch with the company or get updated proposals. This did cause some stress into our wedding planning, which I felt was unnecessary.

Eric and Carolyn were UNREAL. Sometimes I tend to lack imagination - especially when 1,000 other things are on my mind - and they COMPLETELY brought my ideas to life. I definitely recommend them. They were communicative and easy to work with all around.

Eric did a phenomenal job at taking my wedding vision and bringing it to life. He designed and decorated both my ceremony and reception locations and they were breathtaking. He is incredibly skilled at listening and understanding the look and feel you are trying to achieve and creating something magical. He even custom made lamps for our reception table to help us achieve the ideal look for our wedding. Eric was very flexible, we wanted a million dollar look but not a million dollar price. He was able to tweak things in order to meet our budget - without letting the decor suffer. I can't say enough about how magically perfect my wedding was, and his design & execution abilities was a huge part of it. Thank you Eric!

Carolyn & Eric are EXCELLENT!!! They have the most beautiful creations and ideas, and they are a dream to work with!! Love them!

The flowers were gorgeous and exactly like I wanted them to look! My only complaint was that my wedding planner did not get very timely responses from them. When she had a question it would take them 3-6 days to respond. Other than that, everything was beautiful and perfect!

Bee's Floral Event and Wedding Design is phenomenal. Eric is extremely innovative and super helpful when it comes to floral design. He took my vision and made it a reality. His passion for this industry radiates and it reflects in the quality of his work. He did my mom's flowers for her wedding 19 years ago and she truly enjoyed working with him and his staff! Super helpful especially if you are working on a budget and the quality is unbelievable! There's a reason they have been in business for over 30 years! They are simply the best and I recommend Bee's to any bride!!!

Eric was TREMENDOUS! He listened to our ideas ( we were pretty specific) and expounded upon them to create the most elegant arrangements and bouquets we could ever hope for in our wedding!He was a dream to work with and a divine person to have on our team of professionals!!! USE HIM! You will not be disappointed !!

I gave Eric very few guidelines and let him run with the theme. He had a great time and had amazing ideas! The space was beautiful and absolutely breath taking!!!

I was so stressed about flowers and decor, then I met with Eric at Bee's once and was just WOWED and relieved. I instantly trusted him. He asked tons of questions and even looked at my Pinterest to see what I liked. He was so patient and I felt like I was his only client. At the wedding and reception everything was perfect. The centerpieces were a huge hit and he used candles everywhere. (I had told him how much I loved candles and lanterns.) He did an amazing job and I definitely recommend using Bee's. Expensive, but do worth it.

Eric and Carolyn are fantastic! I didn't get in contact with them until less than a month before my October wedding. They were able to basically plan and coordinate my entire wedding in that short time. They went above and beyond what I expected! My wedding was actually more beautiful than I could have imagined. They took every bit of worry and stress out of the process by being extremely easy to communicate with. They found my caterer, bakery for my cakes, and furniture rentals all on top of the dreamy decor. Our bouquets were gorgeous! Eric is a true artist, I felt like he instinctively knew exactly what I wanted every step of the way. Carolyn did a fabulous job coordinating everything, she kept me organized and made sure every last detail was planned out. It was wonderful to feel relaxed and calm and know that everything was taken care of for such an important day! I honestly can't thank them enough! Such a sweet and talented couple.

Mr. Eric Fredericks of BEES WEDDING AND EVENT DESIGNS is my new Hero! When I was frantically calling around New Orleans to find a reputable florist who would work in silk flowers for my wedding, I repeatedly heard the same cold "no, sorry" answer or my messages were simply left unanswered. However, when I spoke to Eric at Bee's and explained my difficulty because both my fiancé and I have severe flower allergies, Eric's innate compassion and kindness moved him to the magnanimous offer to make my bridal bouquet and those of my bridal party even though his business is in live flowers. He told me to shop for the silks I wanted, then to bring them to his studio where he would happily create the silk wedding bouquets I needed for only a service charge. He was extremely generous with his time for my appointment and he listened attentively to my unique conceptual vision no differently than if our budget had been limitless. Eric continued to be very supportive with follow-up meetings and contacts over the following months as I shopped and brought in selections from which he could choose to execute the job according to my theme. The end results are breathtaking and exactly what I dreamed of having! Eric's extraordinary talent is surpassed only by his exceedingly kind and generous heart. When any of you are in need of an honest and gifted florist to whom you can entrust the next very special event for you or your loved ones, don't hire anyone until you've met with Eric at Bee's; not only is he an outstanding artisan, he's also a very extraordinary person. We are grateful that God let our paths cross, and we ask God to bless him and his business most abundantly!

Eric Fredricks at Bee's is a horrible wedding florist. He screwed up ALL of our wedding flowers. He even admitted his responsibility! that he carelessly overrode the details of our florals in his system. Needless to say I ended up with the wrong flowers, in the wrong colors, in the wrong containers, etc. Not a single floral arrangement was correct per our contract, down to the boutonnieres. The bridal bouquet was purple (none of my flowers were purple) and all of the bridesmaids bouquets wilted and didn't last past the ceremony. I am a very level headed individual and by no means were my expectations unreasonable. I was completely astonished by the treatment I received after he ruined my wedding flowers. I don't even have pictures with bouquets because of this man, and my reception florals were not only wrong but were laughable. The worst part is after we paid him thousands for our flowers, and after HE ADMITTED HE SCREWED UP, he never gave us the refund which he promised. He initially offered to give us a full refund and then out of nowhere went back on his word and offered to give us less than half. Four months later and still no check. He is a liar and incredibly unprofessional. Don't trust this florist for your wedding day. The wedding planner we used was astonished by the experience. She reached out to other florists in the New Orleans area, all of which were stunned by his actions and were in complete agreement that he was completely in the wrong and should have written us a check without us even having to ask. I can't undo the horrible hand I was dealt in working with Bee's Florist, but I hope my review will at least prevent other brides from having to endure the same experience.

I'm not a flower person so the flowers for my wedding weren't priority for me. Eric did a great job of making me fall in love with flowers. All of my bridesmaids were in the same fabric and color but different dress styles. He had the brilliant idea to make their bouquets with the same flowers, but he arranged theme all differently so each was unique. I loved that! When he brought the flowers to the suite where we were getting ready I was so impressed with what he had done. He has a true talent!

Bee's is truly wonderful to work with! They made our wedding so magical. It truly was a fairytale wedding. The flowers were absolutely beautiful! Our wedding was a little over a month ago and we still have friends and family telling us how beautiful the flowers were! I would definitely recommend Bee's to anyone!

I couldn't be happier with Bee's Wedding and Events, my wedding was absolutely beautiful! I live in Chicago and had a destination wedding in New Orleans, Bee's made things so much easier for me. They were so helpful by letting me ship things ahead of time, and communication was great. They were wonderful to work with, and Eric is so creative, he turned my wedding into a dream come true. I am truly amazed how he made everything come together so perfectly. More than anything, I love his attention to details. My bouquet was simply stunning as were all my arrangements! I loved what he did to save the day, when my cake stand broke during shipping. He displayed it on a gold framed chalkboard with flowers around it. ( I'm so glad it broke!) I can't thank Eric enough! I am so grateful to have found him to do my wedding!

I must say I was very disappointed with Bee's florist. During the planning process I was beyond excited, it was like he knew exactly what I wanted and they were such fun to work with. However, when it came to my wedding day, nothing was as we had discussed or planned. My bouquets were totally different flowers, in different colors and looked like they were dying. I really wanted peonies and my sister in law knew someone who farmed them and gave us a great deal. He called it a scam, but never bothered to tell me about anything until he dropped off the different flowers on my wedding day. Just a little heads up would have been appreciated. The boutonnieres were in the same pitiful shape. The bouquets were wrapped with some really cheap ribbon, when I had requested burlap with exposed stems, seemed simple enough to me, especially when I offered to bring in the burlap! I didn't want it to bother me so I figured his work at the reception hall would have made up for it. WRONG AGAIN! I'm not a huge flower person so I just wanted simple, natural center pieces. He showed me a tall galvanized bucket he could do with natural branches and hanging tea light candles on the larger tables and simple succulents with mason jars and floating candles on the smaller tables. Well the buckets and branches were there, but no candles. No candles on the smaller table either, or the table with the wedding cake. The last thing we had dreamed up together was a hanging natural display over the food spread. I showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted and he said it would be no problem to do it. However, when walking into the room, all I saw was a large branch with moss hanging from it. Nothing close to what we had discussed. By this point, I knew I couldn't expect much from them anymore, so I figured I'd deal with it all later and enjoy the rest of my night. When it came time to the bouquet toss, surprise surprise...it wasn't there. Yet he swears we must have lost it. I wasn't a fan of my bouquet in the first place to I gladly tossed it. After it was all said and done my mom emailed Eric to see what the issue was and why there were so many short comings. His response was they did the best they could. No apologies, no explanation, nothing. I have to say I don't recommend him for anyones wedding. He makes it seem like he can do exactly what you want yet delivers nothing close to what you expected or paid for.

I adored working with Eric, he is such a fun and nice guy. Because I liked him so much I feel bad writing this review, but I feel like I should because I was definitely not very happy with what I got. I'm not sure if it was because we ordered flowers relatively late or because my wedding was very small and we only needed bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres so not much attention was paid to it because it was not a large sale, but when I got my flowers some of them did not seem very fresh and they weren't wrapped how I specified (different ribbon than I was shown a sample of and not even the same color, wanted a bow and there was no bow, wanted stems exposed and they were not). In fact, I was so displeased with the wrap that I took mine apart and redid it myself with my own ribbon and lace about 60 min before my ceremony! At the time I received the flowers, which were picked up from Bee's by my mom, I did not think much about the boutonnieres because I was so involved in fixing my bouquet. Later as I was looking at my photos I realized how much I disliked them. The flowers were very small with a LARGE green leaf attached behind them. I asked for simple, which I guess they were, but meant simple as in a single flower (I even sent some pictures as to what I liked and I know none of the pictures had a large leaf like that). Come to think of it I believe we paid for the groom to have two flowers and there was only one. I am hoping I will be able to photoshop the large leaf out of our pictures because it looks horrible. Sorry Bee's, after receiving the product I feel like my small, last minute order was more of a burden than anything and that I was treated that way :(

My floweres came out wonderful...Eric helped me pick out my flowers and gave me plenty of help with pairing the right flowers together to get that elegant touch!

I was going for classic and elegant, and Bee's delivered. I used calla lilies, and they were fresh and beautiful. The flower ball that my niece carried was gorgeous. Even the toss bouquet, which was included, looked perfect. Eric was easy to work with and my experience with them was A+. Thank you, Bee's!

We used Bee's following recommendations of our wedding site. Although we wanted to keep our floral budget low, we were definitely swept away when we went in for our consultation. We stated a few thoughts and Eric was fantastic at making those come to life. We used a floral arch as our backdrop for our outdoor ceremony, and it was very beautiful with lots of bouquets within it. The table centerpieces with gorgeous, and the designs put together in combination with Bee's and Luminous Events looks wonderful and very romantic. Two small issues came up. 1) was my bouquet. During the initial meeting I stated I wanted succulents in the bouquet, and had thought that was part of the plan (and had raved excitedly about the bouquet to my female friends who like that sort of thing). When the bouquet arrived my friends ooohed and aaahed. It was gorgeous, but no succulents. It looks like I hadn't specified clearly enough and checked the specific contract to make sure this was included. So, while I do recommend this vendor, please do check the fine print to make sure everyone is truly on the same page! 2) the groom's boutineer had small purple petals that had withered before the ceremony even began, so we need to remove those. After the receiving line the simple while lily was destroyed as well, hanging simply from the tux jacket. So we removed it before the reception. We certainly suggest something more hardy for those who think they weather will be warm and/or make hug a few guests during the evening!

Eric and his staff are the best around! When we walked into the reception, I was completely blow away! The table arragements were breath taking. We are several weeks out from the wedding, and my mom still has the table arragements from the reception in her house. The roses are still alive! My bridal bouquet is still in my living room and has not died yet either. I would definitely recommend Bee's to anyone who is looking for amazing designs with the best quality!

As soon as I walked in the door to Bee's I knew I was in the right place. Everywhere you looked were beautiful items and gorgeous flowers. The bouquets couldn't have more stunning as well as the arrangements for the alter. I would HIGHLY recommend Eric and Carolyn to anyone!

The flowers were absolutely stunning! Erik did an amazing job! I was especially impressed with the bride and bridesmaid bouquets. Erik was able to capture my funky style, yet the bouquets were elegant and beautiful!

I put a lot of trust into Bee's design and color savvy, and, I must say, I am VERY pleased! The colors they picked with me looked amazing with my bridesmaid dresses. I had them make a cake topper arrangement for my cake and it was beautiful! I am 100% satisfied with their services.

Our flowers were beautiful! I didn't want the traditional roses as we were going for a Mardi Gras/Carnival theme and they did an amazing job at creating something colorful and unique. Eric is very creative and his love for what he does really shows in his work. They were great at helping us stick to our budget and everything was delivered and set up on time the day of. I would definitely recommend Bee's to other bride's who are looking for something Fabulous!
