I have used Beethoven’s Verenda on several occasions for birthday’s for my two daughters in Hoboken and I have always received compliments on the arrangements. William has alway answered the phone when I call and always assured me that not only would the flowers be delivered on time but that the arrangements would look beautiful-and they always do. So when I needed flowers for my daughter’s baby shower-I called Beethoven’s Veranda. I can’t begin to tell you how many compliments I received from the guests and family members about the flowers and the service from the team that came to set up everything. They were fantastic!!!! The flower arrangements were stunning and the service from William and his team was simply outstanding!!!!!!

I want to give a huge and ever so grateful shoutout to BEETHOVEN’s VERANDA florist, and especially to owner William! Due to certain circumstances, I made an urgent request on the day after Labor Day to make a small wedding bouquet and a boutonniere and deliver them as a surprise to the bride and groom by the following morning!! William was absolutely wonderful in quickly walking me through my various creative options. This was not going to be his sale of the year, but he acted as though it was! The items were delivered today and were absolutely perfect and so appreciated! If this florist did this so quickly and excellently for such a small sale, just imagine what he could do for you! Beethoven's Veranda was amazing! William was so knowledgeable and helpful teaching us how to create the perfect bouquet. His team was punctual, professional, and the flower cart was the hit of the bridal shower! The flower cart presentation was over the top and a showstopper! All of the flowers were so fresh, vibrant, and they offered a wide variety of flowers and greenery. Everyone left with the most gorgeous bouquets from the event. We used Beethoven's Veranda for our wedding in early June and words can’t begin do William and his team justice – they went so far above and beyond and truly made our wedding day right out of my dreams! William is a true artist in every sense of the word and his passion is infectious. We took a trip to his flower shop to create a plan for bouquets, our chuppah and the reception and he pulled together a stunning display live, making real-time adjustments based on feedback. He completely nailed the wild, romantic vibe we were going for. Everything was so exquisite and unique, and he had great recommendations to maximize our budget without sacrificing what we were hoping to achieve. On our wedding day, there was a major rainstorm that made the outdoor ceremony we had dreamed of impossible. William and his team built the chuppah structure in our plan B location under a covered area. I cried when I saw it - it was more beautiful than anything I could have ever imagined. Miraculously, the weather cleared an hour before our ceremony but the full 8’x8’ construction and design (with over 30 pounds of flowers!) had already been completed. Despite all of the complications, William was determined to get us what we had hoped for and he and his team moved the entire structure to the location we had always dreamed of getting married. The ground was completely soaked so they had to use additional support and stakes in the ground to ensure it was sturdy. I couldn’t have envisioned a more stunning display. Our guests raved about the florals and they all have new profile photos from underneath the chuppah! Beyond his artistic talent, William’s positive vibes and sense of humor were an incredible energy to have throughout the day. He is a calming force and brought confidence that if it was something we wanted and it could be done, he would get it done. Beethoven’s Veranda was absolutely instrumental in creating the wedding of our dreams. William and team, we can’t thank you enough!

ONLY FOR HIGHEND BUSINESSES AND VERY WEALTHY BRIDES - DO NOT BE FOOLED. When I first met with William, I was enamored. I was very happy with the way the initial appointment went and how he listened to my vision. We had to postpone my wedding due to covid last year in 2020 about 2 month prior. First thing that came out of William's mouth was we do not do refunds. Which is fine because I really just wanted to reschedule. He said that was fine and we verbally agreed because we were actually together when I found out my venue was temporarily closing due to COVID restrictions. As time went on and we found a new date and reschedule getting in contact with William was closed to pulling teeth. No callbacks, not answering emails. I resorted to reaching out on instagram with got a prompt one word response in email form. After that it was radio silence. As the wedding neared 90 days prior I was becoming anxious and frustrated that he was not answering me. Finally I sent an email freaking out, and started calling everyday to find out what the heck is going on. I was very upset at this point. He called me and we spoke over the phone and he relayed I am so sorry my personal life has affected my work and that is why I did not answer. Meanwhile on instagram there are posts everyday. ( P.S. Another bride also resorted to reaching out to him on instagram and saw a very snarky reply). Throughout the weeks leading upto the wedding my mother communicated with him to spare me the anxiety he would induce. My mom's review after the wedding was that every time he would call his words would be " We have a PROBLEM" even on the day of the wedding that is how he started the morning. The 2 weeks before the wedding he told my mother he cancelled the contract! After she repeatedly tried to get in touch with him to drop off a cheque for the final payment after he changed the original price. Along with that we ended paying at least 2,000 dollars more than the contract had initially intended due to his problems. THEN he had the audacity to call me the morning after to ask for me to leave a good review on The Knot. Yes the flowers looked nice but coming from someone that has a little bit of experience working in a flower shop nothing he did was out of this world. MAYBE I am speaking emotionally due to the treatment we received from this man but I will stick by my review. Especially as a business owner do not let your personal life affect your job. It felt like a honey trap so I reiterate, if you got the money and have no problem dealing with someone that lacks communication skills then by all means go ahead.

Beethoven’s Veranda provided the flowers and vignettes for my special day. They were amazing! Our date was changed due to Covid and they were very patient and flexible with us. The arrangements were reasonably priced and high quality. They produced everything we asked for and more. We highly recommend!!

WOW! Bill and his team made our wedding absolutely beautiful! From the Centerpieces to our bouquets everything was flawless. The huppa itself was absolutely breathtaking and was a vision brought to life. Bill and his team stayed the entire time to make sure everything was perfect. What a wonderful experience!!!! The most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen. Everyone was commenting how beautiful the flowers were from the table centerpieces to the bouquets and of course the Huppa. You cannot do better than Beethoven's Veranda. I chose them for my wedding flowers and reception table arrangements. William is a dream to work with - super talented, very patient and attentive to detail. Mine was a small wedding and he attended to us as if we were Royals. He ensured every detail was covered, and his regular communication made such a difference as other last-minute details were getting overwhelming. Wow! The flowers he was able to obtain - peonies - nearly out of season - , gorgeous hydrangea - everything I wanted and it was all stunning.

I am from out of state and just got married yesterday in New Jersey. I was looking for a florist to create a bouquet for my wedding and William was the perfect person for it!! I showed him a picture of bouquet i found from online that i wanted and he created exact same thing. It was like pulling it out from that picture!!! With Yelp, Instagram, and Google searches it can be so overwhelming trying to narrow down what florist to use. I am not a traditional bride, got married in NYC’s City Hall, but I did want my wedding bouquet to be spectacular for my photos. I stumbled across Beethoven’s Veranda on one of my many Google searches. The photos on their website quickly excited me that this place could be the one! I, like I’m sure many of today’s brides, had a Pinterest board with ideas for my bouquet. I called and spoke with William who instantly said “send me what you imagines you have and I can create it for you.” He did just that! I went into the shop and again went thru my inspo images. He was so knowledgeable, quickly identifying the kind of flowers in the pictures I showed him, teaching me along the way. I also wanted a boutonnière for my husband and showed him pictures for that as well. He was able to give me ideas to help tie the two together to give it a cohesive look. I was beyond thrilled with how everything turned out! I received so many compliments on the flowers and they looked beautiful in pictures. When you tell a florist that you are working with a tight budget, they tend to offer just roses. That is not what we wanted nor what William offered. William did everything in his power to help us stay as close to our budget as possible while providing us with some of the most beautiful, unique flower arrangements we've ever seen. He worked with us when we had a few last minute changes (literally the week before) and when I forgot to add toss petals to our contract, he let us make this change the day before. Not only were we extremely happy with the way everything turned out, but our guests could not stop raving about the biggest details (our amazing arch!) to littlest details (the boutonnieres). William pays attention to detail and we are so glad that we choose him to help our ideas to life.

The florist was recommended to me for my wedding and I couldn't be happier with their work! William and his team did such a great job and they went above and beyond! The design of the flowers were well thought through, have their own style, and fits perfectly with our attire. William took his time to listen to our needs, preferences, and budgets, and accommodate to it. I love that his design is so unique and not something you see everywhere on the magazines. He used all various kinds of flowers to create such an amazing harmony, which is so impressive! William and his team also set up the chuppah for us on the patio, which was a tremendous work too! How do I begin? William and his staff were truly a dream come true. It only took two visits to William's gorgeous shop in North Bergen for him to translate my vision into BEYOND reality. I had never received more compliments in my life than the ones I received regarding my florals. First of all, William is dedicated and passionate about his work and his clients. He showed up at the venue to set up at 11am for a 6pm ceremony to make sure everything was set up and perfect. I knew I had nothing to worry about. Our venue featured a gazebo, which Willliam transformed into a STUNNING work of art consisting of a garland with Italian Ruscus, roses in multiple shades of white and blush, and the most gorgeous burgundy peonies. Upon entering the ceremony, guests were stunned by two pedestals containing urns filled with florals at the entrance to the aisle. He lined the aisle with incredible wood lanterns wrapped in garland. This tied into the theme of our centerpieces, which consisted of gold lanterns, surrounded by a wreath made up of hydrangeas, peonies, hypericum berries, and pearl pins; they were breathtaking. William amazed me with his attention to detail; my bridesmaids, groomsmen, and parents had beautiful ranunculus with white hypericum berries and freesia. For my grandmother, who I cherish, he created a beautiful pearl wristlet; she felt so special and loved - which is exactly what I wanted. William is so kind-hearted; I have to say my favorite part (which is very hard to choose) would be my unbelievable bouquet. I will try to upload photos; but marrying your best friend, carrying an incredible piece of art made my day so special. I love eucalyptus and William made the most of that; combined with burgundy/wine elements, such as scabiosa, cream and blush garden roses, the rare burgundy peonies, hydrangeas and more. It was flowing, loose, and looked like it had come out of a magazine. I felt beautiful, and the flowers had a lot to do with that. My husband wore navy blue, and the satin wrap for my bouquet was navy; which tied everything together. I should also mention that I wanted navy blue bows tied around the chairs lining the aisle, and William executed my vision impeccably. As guests entered the reception area, they laid their eyes on a custom barn-wood and drift-wood escort card table added to a piece of artwork in landscape profile with a base to fit twelve 5x7 place cards. I have gotten so many compliments on the details involved in creating all of these elements. Above all else, other than making my dream come true, working with William is something I will never forget. I feel blessed to have been introduced to him by Jacquelyn Mavrookas of EVJ Wedding Co. out of Hoboken, NJ. The two of them are like Bonnie & Clyde - creating unforgettable weddings together; I would recommend William and Beethoven's Veranda for ANY occasion; big or small, rain or shine. My wife and I were blown away by William and what he was able to create for our wedding. He is not only a gifted florist, but also one of the kindest persons I've ever met. He worked with us to make sure we stayed within budget, and ensured us that our vision would come to life for what we could afford! His floral arrangements were breathtaking, and were a topic of discussion among our wedding guests. For our wedding cake, my wife and I originally elected to have hand sculpted gum-paste flowers instead of real flowers, which ended up being a big mistake. Thankfully, when the cake arrived at our ceremony, William saw it before we did, and without flinching, removed all of the fake flowers and recreated the design with real flowers. The result of his quick action was amazing. He saved the wedding cake, and the embarrassment (of having an ugly cake) my wife and I would have endured without him there. If you are getting married in the tri-state area and don't seek William's services, than you're making a mistake. I recommend him to anyone that is looking to work with someone who brings ideas to life, and all the while making the experience of choosing floral arrangements as easy as pie.

We had a great time working with Bill and the end result was absolutely beautiful. He was kind, fair, knowledgable, and very generous. We even met one (very early) morning in the flower district in NYC to walk around and check out potential flowers for our arrangements. Can not express how amazing our flowers were. William is truly talented. We had an intimate wedding in New York City. We hired William for our 7/30/17 wedding at the Chart House. He was first class throughout the process. The quality of his flowers was amazing. He was patient, kind, a subject matter expert. Well worth the money. His flowers lasted well over a week after the wedding, great for honeymoon pictures! Every detail he was on top of. Highly recommend.

Beethoven's Veranda exceeded our expectations. The owner William had some fantastic suggestions and was receptive to the individual ideas of the bride and groom. My daughter was able to go with William to the market in New York and select flowers that she wanted included in her arrangements. Before the wedding William prepared samples of the centerpieces and the bouquets for final feedback. On the day of the wedding, William and his staff of four arrived early at the venue to set up the centerpieces and the trellis that was to be used for the ceremony. They remained throughout the event to move flowers used in the ceremony to the cocktail hour and later to the reception hall area near the sweetheart table. Two weeks after the wedding our friends and family continue to comment about the beautiful flower arrangements used for the wedding. William and his staff were a pleasure to work with. I recommend this florist without reservation.

As a highly detail oriented person, flowers were really important to me for my wedding day. From centerpieces to bouquets to boutonnieres, I had a vision in my head... and William and his team at Beethoven's Veranda went above and beyond to bring it to life for me. The flowers are the highest quality -- and if a specific flower is not available from the NYC Flower District, no worries-- Beethoven's Veranda will arrange to them flown in from Holland, France, etc. William and his team provide a superior level of customer service that and make you feel so special throughout the process! A week before my wedding, William even took me to the flower district so I could look at flowers available and give him some last minute steer on my selections. He also invited me to come to his shop two days before the wedding to LITERALLY pick the flowers that went into my bouquet! Of course, this is not a requirement and William will make beautiful creations without that level of input from the client, but offering that experience to someone like me who loves all the little details was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend Beethoven's Veranda for a wedding or any other event!!

William exceeded my expectations with all the flowers for our wedding day. He made sure I was aware of all details, he brought me to the flower markets so I could see the flowers available and allowed me to preview how the arrangements were coming along a couple days before the event. The bouquets were beautiful and the boutineers were perfect! All a mix of the textures I was looking for. When I saw the reception room for the first time on the night of my wedding I couldn't believe how beautifully it was transformed. The high centerpieces with blossoms and the low centerpieces with the arrangement arounded the tiered floating candles were so romantic and gorgeous. I can't wait to see the pictures from the photographer. Thank you so much!

I wrote a review on Weddingwire.com for this vendor after my wedding in May of 2012 and today received an email saying it was disputed (whatever that means). I will re-post it here when I can, but to put it in a nutshell imagine discussing/planning all the details of your wedding flowers with one florist, she either quits or leaves the job for some other reason, so you meet with the owner, review all your arrangements with him, then the day of the wedding he leaves a message on your voicemail saying you've been "upgraded" (without being consulted in any way) and when you go to pick up your flowers, they are completely different than what you requested. Imagine you explained to him that your husband is a very modest type of dresser and wants something classic and petite for his boutonniere and what you end up with is huge, garish and prickly (yes, prickly like a cactus). Imagine the bride requested a petite, modest style of bouquet with all white flowers and then received a very large, colorful (albeit, lovely) arrangement instead, on the very day of the wedding when no other arrangements can me made. Not only is this wholly unprofessional, inconsiderate and rude, but I have to be reminded of it every time I look at my wedding pictures.

William and his staff created truly stunning and extraordinary centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres for my step-daughter's wedding. Their work is so incredibly unique and you are not likely to find anything like it in your travels! Prices were extremely reasonable. William adds such a personal touch to ensure that you are getting what you want. Highly recommend them!
