He worked at our level every single class and never tried to throw too much at us, nor teach us anything he thought we couldnât handle. Lee taught us how to dance, not choreograph our wedding song. We very much appreciated this distinction, as we learned moves that we can use beyond just our wedding. Lee's strengths are that he clearly explains what aspects really matter in a first dance and what doesn't (what the guests will not notice) and that he teaches the "why" behind certain moves, which frees us to focus on the few important aspects and enjoy the process. We love that he adapts to our level and learning pace and prefers to have us do a simpler dance where we focus on the love connection between us as a couple as opposed to a fancy dance full of technicalities that is not as fluid or seems forced. Prior to booking, I called 2 other companies. Beginning Ballroom's 10 class package was the most comprehensive and reasonably priced. Lee is very personable, funny, and detail oriented.
