Hey! I'm Grant Smith, AKA Behind The Beard Photography. I'm an enthusiast of everything outdoors! Climbing, hiking, canoeing and sleeping under the stars, prefer no tent, to many screens in the way of those stars. I fill my life with joy and excitement and it shows in my photography. Photography is more then snapping the shutter button. It's about that adventure, the relationships created when the camera is put away in the bag and the experience that people have when the camera is pointed at them.
Behind The Beard Photography is located in Rochester MN. You will often times find him shooting weddings in Rochester, Minneapolis, St. Paul and the surrounding areas or out in the woods shooting or taking part in climbing.

Our wedding reception was the most amazing day ever! Our outstanding photographer Grant Smith went above and beyond to document the day and add his personal touch. We couldn't thank Grant enough; he was easy to work with, super cool, and very in tune with the direction we wanted our reception photos to go.
