ennifer and Melissa teamed up to supply hair and make up for my daughter's wedding at Squam Lake. They arrived ready to tackle 4 of us, two Moms and two daughters, including the bride herself. With a wedding playlist playing, we all had great fun. Numerous "onlookers" came to review the beautiful work they did. And we were all done in time for getting dressed and taking family photos before the wedding. It was a calming, relaxing way to start the event! Thank you Jennifer and Melissa for making my daughter's wedding day not only memorable, but BEAUTIFUL!

If I could rate this team 6 stars I would! From beginning to end, they were absolutely perfect. My bridesmaids and I got so many compliments on our hair and make up all day. They were patient, kind, communicative and very talented. I couldn’t recommend them more!!

She started at SunDay’s in Laconia, she's managed a small chain salon in the Pentagon, had an in-home salon in Germany and just recently opened Behold the Beauty after being a stay at home mom for a time (She has an amazing son, Wyatt, and 2 beautiful daughters Alétheia and Angelina). She's certified with Dream Catchers Hair Extensions, Évalash lash extensions, Shellac, OPI, Temptu airbrush makeup and MUD (Makeup Designery) as a makeup artist. She's constantly taking classes and learning. She also partnered her salon with Neora International because they carry such high quality products, backed by science with pure ingredients.

The hair and makeup trial is so important to play around with what works and what doesn’t (in this case, my super-straight and fine hair didn’t want to hold any sort of styling after the trial) so that you can work together to come up with a better plan for the wedding itself. Jen took my feedback to heart every step of the way and the result was phenomenal! She adjusted her technique for the wedding itself and my hair actually kept its style for the entire night, even after my husband and I got caught in a deluge during one of our photo shoots: our clothes looked like we’d jumped in the lake from the rain, but my hair AND makeup looked perfect the entire night! I had been super stressed because so many artists have a minimum number in the bridal party before they are willing to travel to you for the day-of, but Jen immediately got back to me the first time I reached out to her and put my mind at ease about the whole process! Jen and her team also did a wonderful job on my mom’s hair and makeup as well as my new sister in law’s hair and makeup! What really impressed me is that they made the whole process so much fun along the way! They were even happy to help me touch up my nails that I’d done myself when one chipped just hours before photo time! Highly recommend for both wedding services and if you’re in need of hair or makeup services in general in the Laconia area! First review 7/16/2022 (Bridal Trial): Just had my bridal trial for hair and makeup with Jennifer! She is AMAZING!!! She was super communicative when I initially reached out to her in desperation because very few stylists are willing to travel for such a small wedding party that I'm having: she got back to me right away and put my mind at ease for my big day. I just did my trial today and she is FABULOUS to work with. Every step of the way she made sure I was comfortable with the look and she does great work! She's super receptive to feedback and willing to work with me every step of the way, to the point where I scheduled a follow up regular hair appointment with her between now and my wedding because we hit it off so much and she "gets" what I'm looking for! Definitely looking forward to having her do my hair and makeup at the wedding!

look on my wedding day, and Jennifer executed it perfectly. Jennifer and her team did hair and makeup for myself, both moms, and 8 bridesmaids. They were fast, friendly, and the girls all looked beautiful. She was also incredibly supportive during my trial and was even very flexible and understanding about changing some of the stylists around to suit our party. Jennifer and her team were very easy-going and insisted that the girls felt confident and comfortable with their looks, even re-doing anything if it wasn't quite perfect. Her newest stylist was a little bit slower and not as experienced as the other makeup artist but with Jennifer's guidance I am confident she will be highly capable soon. Overall, our hair and makeup came out great and I would highly recommend Jennifer and the Behold the Beauty team, especially if you are looking for natural glam makeup and beautiful braided hairstyles!

Jennifer was just the best! I can get anxious with people touching my face and hair and she was so great about helping me to feel relaxed and pampered. She is super easy to talk to...

e I knew I’d sweat it off. My makeup came out beautiful and It was still looking great at the end of the reception. During my bridal trial Jenn walked me through what she thought would look good with my complexion and why and was very knowledgeable about the decisions she made. She also did my manicure and pedicure which came out very nice as well. As far as hair, all my bridesmaids and flower girls had different styles in mind and Jamie and Jenn gave them all exactly what they were looking for. I 10/10 recommend Behold the Beauty
