Bel Air Armory is a wedding venue located in Bel Air, MD. This property is a cornerstone of Bel Air’s arts community, being the home of local theater productions and other township events. The space itself is warm and inviting, ideal for celebrating your special day among friends and family. Bel Air Armory is a well-preserved historic landmark, evident from its striking exterior. This castle-style building features detailed stonework and turrets, making it an ideal backdrop for any wedding portraits you wish to take. You can even use the back area of the Armory to hold an intimate ceremony, exchanging your vows against this lovely stonework. Your cocktail reception and dining can take place in the main event hall. This hall features hardwood flooring and generous space that can be used to set up banquet dining for up to 250 guests. There is also plenty of space to accommodate a dance floor for your evening’s entertainment. The stage area in the event hall can be used to host your sweethearts table, and later be flipped to accommodate your DJ or wedding band. This space allows you to play with decor, reinventing it to fit your chosen aesthetic. Bel Air Armory offers the use of tables and chairs included with your rental. In order to fully customize your event, outside vendors are more than welcome. For the convenience of you and your guests, the building is entirely wheelchair accessible with ample parking on-site.

I am the Event Manager for the Town of Bel Air and manage the Bel Air Armory. I have been planning events at the Bel Air Armory since 2019 and have a background in Event planning, having worked for Goucher College and various non-profit performing arts organizations in Baltimore. This building is a hidden gem, was newly renovated in Summer 2020, and is a newer listing on weddingwire.com. It is the perfect space for someone who wants to put their own personal touch on their special day! The 6000 sq ft. space is bright, spacious, and airy with a beautiful facade resembling a castle. ible. My wedding had the ceremony and reception in the same room and it worked WONDERFULLY. If I wanted to do an outdoor ceremony, that is also an option too with an easy transition inside for a reception. The location is so easy to work with and build what wedding you want. We were on a tight budget and this place was a godsend. Truly, give it a shot. It's the hidden gem wedding venue of Harford County.
