The florist was easy to talk to and communicate with throughout the process. They really know how to achieve the right look for the type of ceremony and reception and also take our suggestions very highly. They did a beautiful arrangement for the wedding day.

I worked with Belak Flowers through our wedding venue, The Farmhouse and oh my goodness I am still so over the moon about our flowers! We did one bridal bouquet, a boutonniere for the groom, flower clusters for the ceremony pergola, and floral centerpieces. Everything was stunning! I met with Barb about 6 months before the wedding and picked out colors and inspiration. The design for the centerpieces, specifically, was a little different than the work they usually do but Barb was excited to try it. They provided exactly what we wanted (+ a little flare and professionalism) and we so gracious to discuss any changes we wanted to make leading up to the wedding. The flowers were gorgeous (my bouquet is still my favorite part of the day besides the marriage) and they arrived in perfect condition, on time. Truly a wonderful experience!

My first Valentines Day with my (now) husband he gave me the most gorgeous bouquet of red roses and eucalyptus. I saved the florist information, and when we got engaged I knew I would definitely be going to Belak for my wedding florals. I'm so glad I did. Barb was so kind and delivered my vision to perfection. With only a few months turnaround she was able to create beautiful floral arrangements for everyone in my wedding party and our parents. She provided a detailed explanation of every type of flower that was to be included in the arrangement, she had me show her my pinterest pins, text her my idea photos, and day of I could not believe how perfect they were. She even put together bouquet wraps made of my mom's wedding dress sleeves! To drive to the wedding destination we had to cross through several toll booths, and every last toll booth attendant commented on how pretty the flowers were. Go here for any of your floral needs, you will not be disappointed.

Barb and Belak Flowers did a beautiful job on the flowers for my daughters wedding at the Hotel DuPont on Jan 1. They were absolutely gorgeous and even the wedding coordinator for the reception remarked about how elegant and unusual they were with the black centered daisies. Barb captured our vision perfectly and her knowledge of the venue and the size of the centerpieces needed to complete the look of the room was perfect. She was easy to work with, ran a well organized helpful planning meeting, was able to show us pictures of all of the flowers and make suggestions for substitutions when the flowers we wanted were out of season. Everything was delivered on time and in beautiful condition! I can't say enough good things about them!

Horrible experience with this company. Completely wasted my time, unprofessional, untrustworthy, and totally insincere apology for booking my wedding day with someone else after they gave me a quote, a deposit price, and a time frame to come in to pay. I called THREE separate times in between this time frame to make sure my date hadn't been taken and was assured there had been no inquiries. Imagine spending all of my winter break focusing on other things because my floral arrangements were settled until the very day I went to pay and the lady told me my date was booked as well as the rest of the month. So inconsiderate especially after I asked if I should come make my deposit before Christmas or wait until after the holidays and I was assured it was fine to wait until the holidays which was 5 DAYS AGO. In the end it was a blessing because I found a company that is providing more for my budget and is much younger, friendlier, and more familiar with my style and has worked with my venue often but WOW talk about not caring about your clients at all. No way they booked a whole month of weddings in a matter of days. Instead I am sure they strung me along until they found someone to pay a higher amount on my wedding day and then didn't care less about not even letting me know while being completely aware we had an agreement. Gives you a great idea of the type of people you are working with if you come here.

Super easy to work with, had great suggestions and helped me pick the perfect flowers for our reception. She made the experience fun and exciting. We even had to add an additional boutonnière and it wasn’t a problem at all. Thanks so much for the great experience!

Barb and her team were an absolute joy to work with for our wedding at the Hotel DuPont. She was extremely accommodating, scheduling appointments for me as an out-of-towner on weekends, and extremely affordable -- I had to do a double-take when she first gave us a quote! There are no hidden or extra fees for set-up or break-down like most of the other florists we researched. Barb was so accommodating, she actually created a mock-up bouquet for me, and I'm so glad she provided that service! She was so easy about making changes and our wedding day florals were absolutely stunning -- Barb NAILED my vision! She even created a custom wrap for my bouquet out of my mother's wedding gown, which was formerly my grandmother's gown; it was so special to me to have a piece of my mother and grandmother in my hands on my wedding day. Barb and her team at Belak Flowers were amazing! We initially were scheduled to get married on 8/8/2020 and postponed due to Covid-19; Belak was super flexible and accommodated our request to transfer our order to 8/7/2021. I had no idea what I wanted for florals, but showed Barb a variety of pictures from Pinterest and she was able to create beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, and other greenery elements. Definitely recommend them!

I got married in July 25th 2021 and Belak did all my centerpieces, bouquets, rose petals flowers for the cake you name it flowers for parents and the boutonnières and they did an outstanding job!! Belak made our bouquets and boutonnières for our wedding and they were stunning! They were easy to work with while having to postpone the wedding because of the pandemic, and reached our several days before to confirm everything. The flowers arrived on time the day of the wedding and looked absolutely perfect!!

Barb did my bouquets for my 11/1/2020 wedding and I was blown away at how beautiful they were! I had blue, pink and burgundy with greeney and I did have a slight concern that it would look baby showerish but wow it did not! The colors really popped and the bouquets were so full. I absolutely loved what Barb came up with!

Belak Flowers provided centerpieces for my wedding and it was difficult to schedule an appointment. The staff didn't seem to be able to answer my questions clearly. The centerpieces were bare and did not have enough greenery, although I had paid an upgrade fee...

Wedding date: November 15, 2019 Barb and the team at Belak flowers were amazing to work with! Our wedding colors were very fall: yellows, oranges, burgundys. Barb was so informative when we met with her in July of 2019, my favorite was when she mailed our packet after meeting and it had pictures of all the flowers she would be using for our arrangements, as well as a sheet explaining the meaning of each individual bloom, which I thought was just a really nice touch. I made one additional request about six weeks before the wedding which was no issue at all. Belak delivered the flowers for the cake to our bakery and then everything else went to the venue the day of. And everything was AMAZING. The flowers were beautiful and my bouquet even lasted on our dining room table for weeks after the wedding. A little note of well wishes and a Tide pen were delivered to the venue along with the bouquets and boutonnieres, which was a nice personal touch for the day of the wedding. Thank you to Barb and the rest of the staff for helping to make our wedding so beautiful!

I am beyond thrilled with the job that Barb and the staff at Belak Flowers did for our November 2019 wedding at the Waterfall in Claymont, DE. I had an idea of the colors that I wanted, but was clueless about what types of flowers would be in season or would work. Barb was very consultative. After showing her a few photos I had saved for inspiration on Pinterest, and talking about our wedding colors and the type of wedding we were having she was quick to make recommendations of flowers that would be in season and complimentary to our colors. She was also very helpful in working within our budget for centerpieces – recommending flowers that would not only be in our price range, but look full and gorgeous. I was so excited to see what they came up with and I couldn’t be happier! Everything was STUNNING! The bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and centerpieces – everyone raved about how gorgeous they were! It’s also nice working with someone who has such extensive wedding experience. I shared the fact that my mother gave me a special bouquet charm for the big day, and Barb made a note to ensure my bouquet had extra ribbon so the charm could easily be tied to it on the big day. I was also tickled that when we arrived to our private room at the venue that not only was I stunned at how gorgeous all our flowers were, but there was a note of congratulations with a Tide pen attached. Such a small gesture, but I cannot tell you how much that Tide pen came in handy that night! No one thought to have one in their emergency kit! So nice they pay such close attention to small details like that. I highly recommend Belak flowers for your wedding needs! I guarantee you will not only be thrilled with your wedding flowers, but you will become a client for life (like we are now!).

I didnt know much about the florists in the local area but found Belak at a bridal show. I met with Barb in person at her shop, and she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in arranging the colors and flowers that I was envisioning. We made several revisions throughout the process via phone calls and Barb sent my mother and myself the confirmed adjustments in the mail which I thought was great since we do not live together. Barb also set up an appointment for us a few months before the wedding so that we could see an example of the centerpiece we put together, which was fantastic. The quality of the flowers are outstanding. I was married two weeks ago and still have bridesmaids and guests that are saying they still have live flowers. Thanks Barb for everything!

The only word that I can use to describe the flowers that I was provided for my wedding day is...BEAUTIFUL! Barb listened to every last detail that I asked for to make my day as beautiful as I wanted it to be. The ceremony arrangements, bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, grooms/groomsmen boutonnieres, and the mother's wristlets perfectly complemented everything that I wanted for this special day. Barb was great to work with. She is so personable, funny, caring. I enjoyed talking to her about my wedding and my furry children. Wow! I truly loved every single arrangement Barb made for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. My bridal bouquet was AMAZING and beyond gorgeous. She nailed every detail we discussed and the room looked so amazing. The twinkling lights on the curly willow branches were an amazing cherry on top of everything, the whole room sparkled. Every single flower she used was vibrant and gorgeous. She even sent a tide to go pen with my bouquet which was very thoughtful and it actually was a life saver when a guest hugged me and got a tab of cocktail sauce on my dress during cocktail hour, it took the stain right out! I used Belak Flowers for my wedding in October. The arrangements and colors were beautiful! I had shown pictures of what I was looking for, and what was delivered on my wedding day was above my expectations. My favorite arrangement was the one for the sweetheart table, it was absolutely gorgeous! So many of our wedding guests were taking pictures of it; I wish it would stay alive forever! Belak Flowers provided all the flowers for our ceremony as well as centerpieces for the reception. They were beautiful and colorful just the way I had envisioned! There were just a couple issues we noticed the day of the wedding: When the flowers arrived at the church I realized that the boutonniere changes we had requested months prior and confirmed before the wedding had not been made. It turned out alright though since they still looked fine. There was also a miscommunication where we didn’t realize that the flower girl petals didn’t come with a basket, but that turned out alright too since we were able to purchase a basket that day and the Belak delivery person brought it right over. Communication was also a little difficult since I couldn’t get an email response, but calling generally worked. Despite these small issues, I absolutely adored the flowers, especially my bouquet! We brought all the bouquets along on our Honeymoon to display in our hotel room so we could keep admiring them!

I really had no idea what I wanted but she looked at some of the flowers I had pinned to Pinterest and what I received on my wedding day exceeded my expectations! We went over colors that everyone would be wearing - she had swatches of all the David's Bridal colors. Prices were reasonable. The flowers were gorgeous and delivered to the venue timely and we received so many compliments! My bouquet of tulips was stunning! I loved them so much I got them professionally dried and framed. With so many years of experience you are in good hands with Barb and the great employees at Belak!

Barbara was absolutely fantastic to work with! I put off meeting with a florist for so long during the wedding planning process because I wasn't sure what I wanted and I was afraid I'd end up spending a lot of money. When I made the drive from Baltimore and walked into Belak Flowers, I was super nervous for two reasons. 1. Because I had already met with a florist who was extremely unhelpful and 2. because I had NO clue what I wanted for flowers! From the minute I was greeted, I felt so relaxed and continued with this feeling as I sat and chatted with Barb. Not only was she patient, but she was able to draw out of me what I wanted, without me spelling it out. When the flowers delivered on my wedding day, I was blown away with how perfectly gorgeous all of them were! I knew they would be beautiful, but I had no clue just how beautiful they would really be! In addition to the beauty that was delivered, each piece (bouquet, boutonniere, wristlet, flower wand, etc) was wrapped and protected so perfectly!
