Cannot recommend Josh enough. You should book him first then ask him about other recommended vendors - he also knows everyone in town. He really took the time to get to know us as a couple and helped tailor the photos and experience to be highly personal. His tailored and personal suggestions made our day feel very special. Also be sure to seek Josh's thoughts about the run-of-show for your wedding day - we ended up using Josh's recommendations for the schedule and it was perfect. He also has a great calming presence and brings the right energy to your wedding day.

photos. After months of not hearing back from him, we grew concerned. We tried to let him go, he asked for a second chance and we agreed. Nothing improved. We contacted his assistant and she said that she had a hard time getting ahold of him as well. We decided to cut ties, which left us looking for a new photographer that was available on our date. Pursuant to our contract, we requested our $1500 deposit be returned. Long story short, countless emails and phone calls went unreturned, Josh said he would refund our deposit and shocker - it was never refunded. Bride beware - there are far too many amazing photographers available to risk his terrible immaturity, complete unprofessionalism, and total lack of communication. If you are looking for someone who eliminates stress during the planning process, Josh is not your guy.

o develop a few rolls and said he would have them developed and sent to us immediately. It's been months and he has stopped communicating with us. We also did not receive everything that was listed in our contract. After he received our initial check getting in touch with him was difficult. Scheduling our engagement photos took months to coordinate because he wouldn't respond to emails or calls.

His mix of film and digital photography is an art that brings your wedding back to life as you look back on your wedding day. Not only that, but I had numerous guests and people of my wedding party commenting on how wonderful he was the day of our wedding. He kept everyone cool and collected, but kept the day rolling on time while staying in the background. Over all, I say it was the best decision I could have ever made! JOSH IS THE BEST!!!

ollective personality was a real blessing to me especially when it came to getting ready for the big event. He knew the schedule better than the wedding planner and did more than she did to keep everything on time and moving smoothly. Everything he did to make the wedding day run well was just a bonus to the quality of his photos. He took a ton of photos on digital and film and we couldn't be happier. The day of the wedding Josh showed up super early to go scope out some areas in Cincinnati for our bridal party to get pictures taken. He decided on Ault Park which was less than five minutes from our venue and church. He was FANTASTIC. He used both film and digital, which I loved. Film is so beautiful---it's like a lost art, so I was ecstatic when he said he was going to use film for a lot of our pictures.
He stayed at the reception way later than I expected him to, but I am so glad that he did-- he filmed some of the greatest pictures I've ever seen!! I never told him ahead of time what shots we wanted nor did we give him any specifics, but after looking through our photos, I realized I didn't need to- Josh read my mind.
My family and I chose to have a wedding planner, but honestly, we probably didn't even the day-of-coordinator there thanks to Josh. He knew what needed to be done and when. Not only could I count on him to take amazing pictures, but he also acted as another wedding planner. He stuck to our schedule and made sure everyone else did too!
About two weeks after our wedding, he sent a sneak peak, which he posted on his blog. And then about a month later, he sent us our photography link and then a few days later, our CDs arrived in the mail. Five CDs included thousands of film, edits, and originals. Josh beautifully captured our most favorite day to date and we will forever cherish our photos!

ing we never had any issues with getting questions or concerns addressed, and then on the wedding day itself he was beyond excellent. He showed up early to be with my wife throughout the day (going to her makeup appointment, wedding prep stuff, and capturing a lot of candid moments before we got to the venue). When we got to the venue he was all over the place taking pictures, keeping us moving, and essentially being part wedding coordinator/part photographer/part Superman (he even helped lace my wife's dress because no one knew how to do it). Josh was fantastic, from what we've seen the pictures are amazing, and he really is the best in the city, without question.

The day of our wedding, Josh was a pro at putting us at ease and creating fun and creative poses. He made our day so relaxing and enjoyable. We trusted that Josh would snap the important stuff, and he did and then some. So many design elements that I totally missed during the wedding! We loved our pictures - now we just need to order the prints.

My wedding was at the end of June this year. Josh showed up on time on the wedding day, and stayed until the reception was basically finished. He was very relaxed and knew his way around the venue, and even helped out on small tasks while we were getting ready. His wedding-day service was great. I definitely agree with the past reviewer who said that he was calming (very good characteristic on a wedding day!). However, he did not bring a second photographer, even though the package that we purchased had a second photographer included. Josh seemed to make up for this by being everywhere at once during the ceremony and reception, though, so I'm not very concerned with this.
What does concern me (and lowers my rating of Bella Grace) is the service once the wedding day was over. As he finished photographing us, he said that he'd have a sneak peek online within a week and would email us. It's now been over two months and I have not seen any pictures or any email. After a few months of waiting, I emailed him and he quickly responded, saying that the pictures would be done in a week. This was sooner than I expected all of the pictures to take, so I was very pleased with this timeline. However, I wish he would have kept us up to date from the very beginning, rather than me emailing him for an update.
I'm confident that the pictures will be wonderful, and my husband and I were very pleased with Josh's photographing on the wedding day. The only negative was Josh's lack of communication after the wedding. I recommend Bella Grace, but if you want to be updated, you'll have to make the initiative.

our enagement pictures back in 4 weeks and it took at least 6. That doesn't sound so bad, but every day for those 2 extra weeks I e-mailed Josh directly asking about our pictures and he maybe responded once.
We decided to keep him for our wedding, even though his communication skills were lacking. He photographed the wedding and again, we waiting an extra month from what he originally quoted us before giving out our pictures, all the while NEVER COMMUNICATING that they were going to be late.
But my biggest problem is the wedding album ($450!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) that we ordered last March when I originally booked him. Well, it was promised to me in October. That never happened. I continued to e-mail him and call constantly. Finally, in December he said I would have it by Christmas. The first of the year came around and I never got it. I e-mailed, called, left messages a few times a week before I heard back. It was "on it's way" but it never showed up. Finally, In MARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got my mother in law involved who threatened to take him to court and he finally delivered my book (though it was STILL late from what he originally said). Then, MY WEDDING DATE ON THE FRONT COVER ON MY BOOK IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the first page says "Kathy and Brian, On the road to happines". Yes, spelled just like that.
Again, I've tried to e-mail and call him to get him to fix his mistakes and It's been over a week and I haven't heard anything back.
He might take good pictures, but i Definitely 100% would never let any of my friends pick him.

I knew as soon as we started our engagement shoot with Josh that I would be just fine. As for our wedding day, Josh and Shana stuck with us for the entire day and were a calming presence the whole time. Not only did they get some mind blowing shots (I've already seen a sneak preview), but they also acted partially as day of coordinators and guests wranglers which I needed because this was a very DIY event. They just felt like part of the family. You won't be disappointed if you hire Bella Grace Studios!

captured from the moment the engagement pictures are taken until the last moment of your wedding reception is over! True professionals, unbelievable attention to detail and amazing personalities! They listened to our daughter's requests as well as ours and they went way above and beyond to provide excellence in every way possible both before and during the wedding! We had a photo session at our home with Josh a few weeks before the wedding to capture our daughter as the "blushing bride" and he blew us away with his creative abilities and his ability to interpret our vision and make it reality! as soon as Josh and I had discussed and decided that he would be our wedding photographer - but 2 months later and many attempts at communicating with him IN PERSON and via phone and email he was never able to confirm this reservation and my fiancee and I were left looking for another photographer with 2 months less to spare and many photogs already booked. Luckily we did find another much more competent, professional, and considerate photographer that we are really looking forward to working with for our engagement session and wedding photos.

t all the photos we specifically requested, and had tons of things they wanted to do to get some great shots. They were really respectful of H being in uniform for the ceremony & didn't ask him to do anything inappropriate (we've been in some military weddings with clueless photogs who asked for WAY weird things). They were also everywhere and nowhere at the same time once the ceremony started - they didn't get in anyone's way, obstruct anyone's view, etc., but the still got every shot. They were with us ALL DAY LONG, and all our guests had great things to say about their interactions. I'd use Josh again in a heartbeat, and recommend him to anyone.
Our package included an engagement shoot, the wedding, all the digital photos on disc, and a 60 page coffee table album from the wedding photos. Also included was travel from Louisville to Georgetown, Kentucky. We're really pleased with everything & I think we got a great price as well.
Creative and modern with a touch of tradition. If you are willing to follow his lead he does amazing work.
