10/10 recommend Bella Catering! Everyone we worked with was so accommodating and quick to respond! The food was phenomenal and guests kept telling us how great it was! The team that was on site had our dinner service ready early which allowed us to get our guests fed sooner which was great! They provided water and tea service and bussed all the tables as people finished eating which was great! Can’t recommend enough!
We were ultimately very happy we went with Bella Milano as our wedding caterer. We mainly worked with the Catering Manager Jacob who was always very responsive and helpful with my many questions. We were a bit hesitant in that you don’t do a tasting for your selected menu. We did though, after booking, attend an event hosted by Bella where we got to try some food from their menu. Some of the dishes we tried there we ultimately selected for our day of menu. To us, wedding food is what it is and we never go into with high expectations as we are just thankful to be provided with a meal. All that to say, we were very pleasantly surprised with how good it was!! We are obviously biased, but it was better than majority of weddings we have been to. Hot, full of flavor, plenty to go around. We chose to do buffet style with a prime rib hand carving station. We got a lot of compliments from our guests on the food as well. The cocktail hour foods were a big hit as well! Jacob was kind enough to make my husband and I a plate of appetizers to try since we couldn’t attend our own cocktail hour. He was also very attentive to us all night, even grabbing us refills on drinks. Overall we had a great experience, and we felt like the pricing was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend!
Bella Milanos catered our wedding at The Leclaire Room in Edwardsville and the food was amazing! We had so many people say how much they enjoyed the food! The kitchen staff was so helpful all night and they were overall wonderful to work with!
Bella Milano catering manager Hannah was wonderful to work with. Easy to communicate with and fast to respond. Food was absolutely incredible & guests kept coming up to me to tell me how delicious all of the food was. I highly recommend Bella for future events!
Delicious and so accommodating!
My in-laws chose Bella Milano as our rehearsal dinner venue. We got there and the set-up was not ideal for the event. We had almost 4o people but individual tables mixed that held 4-8 people and it was very uncomfortable making people have to split up and pick who all to sit with. The bride and groom and family had to make the effort to go around and include everyone vs having a set-up that was more open to everyone. We were also very upset when they would not let the bride (who was obviously who she was based on the sparkly white dress) have a glass of wine because she didn't have a purse/i.d. on her when she was clearly of age and multiple people, including the priest, vouched for her. Otherwise, the food was good but slow to come out. It was nice being able to customize a smaller menu for the party to order from and it included appetizers, salad, a dinner and dessert.
We were sure we wouldn't be able to serve dinner. Our budget was only $5,000 for the 125-guest wedding; most of the caterers we spoke to would charge close to that just for the food!
But Bella Milano worked with us to come up with a fantastic Italian buffet that fed everyone with more food to head back to our house. And the food was amazing! Even the spaghetti (usually a dish too ordinary for my taste) was a huge hit. The chicken milano was something special, with a thick provel sauce that had my family giving me thumbs-up from across the room. And the Milano salad is so terrific, I've been back to the restaurant just for the salad.
Extras included very low cost for terrific Italian bread, free plates and cutlery that were classy enough that I didn't need to rent anything, and they would have delivered for a reasonable fee if I had not had minions to pick it up. Only thing lacking was that they did not provide warming racks, but those were cheap enough to pick up ourselves.
Order from Bella Milano. You will not be disappointed.
First, I have to say that the food was amazing!!' All of our guests were amazing at how good it was. They also worked with us to make sure that my husband and my diet restrictions were accommodated. Neither of us can have sugar or gluten and Bella created special plates just for us. The caterer kept checking to make sure the food was okay and checked to see if we needed anything. If you truly are looking for a professional caterer who serves amazing food, look no further!!
We worked with Bella Milano Catering because they are the primary caterers at the venue we chose. Given the quality of the food, the atmosphere of the venue, the event coordinators' commitment, responsiveness, and helpfulness, this is a great deal! The food was delicious, and we had so many compliments about the whole night thanks to them! I would recommend them without hesitation!
Food was excellent, service was excellent and location is gorgeous. Smooth as silk experience.
Bella Milano was a perfect choice for our rehearsal dinner. The O'Fallon location was right across the street from our wedding reception venue ( The Regency) and where many of the wedding party were staying.
The food was delicious and gave expert service.
We didn't hire Bella Milano exactly but we did have one of their chefs from the fairview heights location cater our wedding. He did a fantastic job and there were tons of left overs
My food was amazing!
The food was awesome and the service was great. Everyone raved about how good the food tasted. I only wish I would have filled my plate. I think they were the best deal for that level of food in the area.
The venue was perfect for the type of wedding and reception I wanted! My wedding coordinator that was provided by Bella Milanos did an exceptional job with the details even though she could not be there the day of my wedding. The person left in charge during my actual wedding was a disgrace. He was very rude, snide, and unprofessional. If you book anything through this vendor, please make sure the Kelci is able to be present the day of your event!
