We are a wedding-planning company, and Bella Sala did not ask me to write this review. I have to share because we truly love every wedding we have here. The venue is conveniently located, has lots of parking, and is easy for transportation vendors to navigate, which is not the case at some venues. We love their wooded outdoor areas for photos. Their getting-ready areas are spacious!!! It's one of the few venues that will comfortably hold more than 300 guests, but we've also planned weddings under 50 here, and it's so versatile. It's clear that Melissa, JP, and Alana love their roles because I see them working tirelessly to ensure each event is a success. We highly recommend this space to any couple who is looking for a venue.

Beautiful Waterfall Terrace and Reception Halls
The bella sala venue is surrounded by trees and highlighted by a romantic waterfall
enveloped by luxurious landscaping. The waterfall terrace is ideal for weddings of up to
250 guests—and for all your wedding photos. In addition, outdoor patios can be set up for
drinks and appetizers. Indoors, the reception halls are flooded with natural light from
large windows, making it inviting for guests as well as your wedding and reception
photos.
Deluxe Suites
While you prepare for your wedding at bella sala, you will have access to two deluxe
suites unlike any other. You will have plenty of room to relax and get ready in style with
lots of mirrors, stations for hair and makeup, and places to hang gowns and tuxes.
Everyone can hang out together in luxurious, spacious and comfortable suites!
Intimate Spaces for Dinners
Rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and even “mini-monies” (small ceremonies) are
easily hosted at bella sala. Schedule a gift opening brunch or other event related to your
wedding, a birthday, baby shower or other celebration where up to 75 guests will be
present.
Convenient Location and Parking
Conveniently located near the junction of I-380 and I-80 and minutes from Iowa City and
Cedar Rapids, our facility has a covered drive-up entrance and is wheelchair

pecial Bella Sala only items like caterers with special menus you can take advantage of if you're looking for an exclusive experience.
My only critique is that the liquoring/drink licensing makes customizing your drink package a little restrictive, but the staff are friendly, and very willing to work with you to make your event successfully.
I would give them a solid 4.5/5 overall!
Very happy with my wedding there with my wife and our reviews from our guests were all very positive and great as a result of picking a good venue.

The venue has everything you will need on your big day, it has a massive and gorgeous bridal suite equipped with everything you will need to get ready, and the grooms suite is perfect for the men! We had a ceremony location change 3 months prior to our wedding so we chose to move our wedding to the outdoor portion of the venue - the waterfall made a perfect backdrop. I would 100% recommend having your wedding here.

Clearly understanding the situation, they sat down with us to help get our wedding reception rescheduled at no extra cost. We rescheduled for a date in October, and everything turned out perfect. I can't say enough about great this venue is...the hall is beautiful, very reasonably priced, and the staff is amazing. They also have a beautiful outdoor waterfall which makes for great pictures and a HUGE bridal suite to get ready in. Overall I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reception venue!

our wishes and made sure our day went off without a hitch. We used the Piccola side for our wedding ceremony and the Cascata side for our reception. We were able to get some gorgeous pictures outside by the fountain. It was wonderful to be able to have all portions of our wedding day at the same site, so guests didn’t have to travel between venues. We were able to take advantage of reduced pricing, since we had a November wedding, allowing us to rent the entire hall at an affordable price. JP was great with offering suggestions for table set-ups and assisting us with our drink order, as well as being present the day of our event to be sure everything went according to plan. Also, Bella Sala provided all of the table linens and staging, set up the tables and chairs, and did all of the cleanup and takedown after we removed all of our personal items from the venue following our event. Thank you, Bella Sala, JP, Melissa, and staff for making our day so special! We would highly recommend Bella Sala to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue!

They went above and beyond to make our day special! We also got our tuxes from Lena in XOXO and it was perfect, a one stop shop for everything! o the venue was at a discounted price, but it is still fairly expensive given that their is no hotel and you pay for a meal on top of renting the venue.
The only thing we were disappointed in was that we ran out of wine. We were promised that there would be more than we originally ordered, and that was not the case. Other than that, the bartenders did great moving people through the bar so that there wouldn't be a line of people waiting.

The two gals that own/operate it do a remarkable job. Bar Manager & Event Planner are also awesome. Would highly reccommend to anyone because of the elegance. Dress it up as much or as little as you'd like. It will be beautiful no matter what!
The dance floor was slick and I would say a little on the dangerous side once any liquids (beer) was spilled on it. Of course, as bride and groom, you sign a contract and pray that your friends don't sue you, but there were some serious bruises/knee injuries after our reception.

I would suggest shopping around before signing the contract. They run with a "bait and switch" mentality. Once you sign the contract, you are on your own.
