Her age and youthful appearance may make you question her capacity but do not let that influence you. She is an artist in her own right.

We ordered the White Velvet cake (Almond Cake with Fresh Strawberries Infused with Grand Marnier and a Vanilla Bean Swiss Buttercream). YUMMMMY! But is was as beautiful as it was tasty & I know that is a hard find. Thank you EVA for EVERYTHING!

was an absolute hit with all of our guests! They could not stop raving about the cupcakes, macarons, and other tasty treats! We will definitely be coming back to Bella Sophia Sugar Crafts for all of our events!

eam. The colors on the walls, the pretty treats in the cases, the decor, everything was wonderful. The gentleman that greeted me, Joe, was the bakers husband, and he was just the sweetest guy (and he is the reason I gave a 3 star review instead of 2). He offered me a coffee and we chatted a bit while we waited for the rest of my party to show up. The bakery was very accommodating to me in that not only did my fiance want to come but also my maid of honor and one of my bridesmaids. The space inside is not very large, but they were able to fit us all. We had requested to taste 5 of the MANY options that were available, those being: Orange Blossom, White Velvet, Red Velvet, Chocolate Hazelnut, and Pink Champagne. Eva, who owns the bakery and is the head baker walked out then with our tasting portions which were quite substantial, and they all looked beautiful, might I add. However. Being in the Wedding Industry myself, I am a firm believer that when you work within the customer service realm, you are selling not only your product, but yourself. Eva told us that she was tired, which I understand, having worked in a bakery myself, and know that their days are very long, but you need to be positive and happy for the time you meet with clients. She barely spoke to us the whole time, just sat there and watched us eat cake. It was really awkward. I kept trying to make comments and small talk, but she just kind of sat there with no expression on her face. Now all of this might have been remedied if the cake was amazing, but it was not. The cake itself was fairly dry, and the buttercream was super heavy and just kind of sat in your stomach. I was really looking forward to tasting the Pink Champagne cake because it just sounded so decadent and wonderful, but it tasted like perfume, and not in a good way. I will say, that the four of us all really enjoyed the Red Velvet and the Chocolate Hazelnut. The prices were fairly average, but I think based on the experience I will be choosing another bakery.

g and setting up the tables again . that really touched me. her detail is absolutely impeccable . everything from the beach chairs to the sea stars and flowers on my cake were made out of sugar by her. Out of all my vendors i would highly recommend her and my wedding planner the most . Thank you so much Eva for staying when you did not have to.

o smoothly. When I first reached out to Eva, I was really excited to work with her as her cakes look beautiful, customized, and she responded very quickly. In the beginning, her responses were prompt and I was ready to book her. Subsequently, she stopped returning my emails and I figured she was busy with the opening of her new shopfront, which I was very understanding about. I gave her a lot of time to respond. After a month went by, I decided to call her and touch base. Because the phone connection wasn't strong, I decided to ask my girlfriend in California to call her and help with the coordination due to the time difference and just to make it easier for Eva to return phone call domestically. She would pick up the phone, promise to call back after figuring out some details but would never actually call back nor respond. My friend called numerous times with the same no response and lack of follow up. It was clear she did not have time nor did she want my business. I think it is important to be clear in communication and if she is too busy, to be upfront about it instead of dragging it on for months. I gave her numerous chances as I understood she must be busy with other projects but I ended up wasting two months trying to follow up with her and waiting for her responses. In the end, I am going with another vendor. I think that business should be done clearly and with efficiency to save everyone's time and stress. I also do not think it is right for a potential customer to have to keep following up or chasing a vendor to give them business. If Eva were more organized and honest from the beginning, it would have saved us all time, effort, and headache from the beginning. I wish her all the best in her newest endeavors despite her work ethic and attitude.

which I graciously accepted. But then, she disappeared. Completely stopped responding when I asked her about scheduling my THIRD tasting. Guess she didn't want to make good on her offer. Frustrated by this unreliable and dishonest business. Birdies- stay awake if you want to make sure you receive you cakes in time.

very sweet and her creativity blew us away . I would recommend her to anyone and can't wait to have another event to use her for and best of all our venue asked us for her number as they said that they had yet to see such a creative cake. Thank you soo much all our guest are still talking about our cake !!

We were truly impressed on our wedding day to find that she had even set up the entire cake table for us . With her own cake stand and candles and small delicate floral arrangement .
