Bella Terra Vineyards is an elegant venue in Hunker, PA, ideal for weddings and other special events. You and your guests can create unforgettable memories surrounded by 100-year-old trees and a tranquil lake. Their expert staff will do everything they can to ensure that your celebration is a success.
Up to 225 guests can be accommodated in the air conditioned event space at Bella Terra Vineyards. Before you head down the aisle, you can get ready for the festivities in the comfortable suite. You'll have exclusive use of the building and the lower property to take pictures and celebrate the occasion. The vineyard provides a romantic setting for timeless images you can cherish for years to come. Your guests will love mingling around the fire pit and enjoying the stunning views surrounding the grounds. The newlyweds and 13 of their loved ones can rent the winery house for the weekend. There are three outdoor ceremony options to choose from, as well as a covered location in the case of inclement weather.
The on-site event coordinator and the event manager at Bella Terra Vineyards can guide you through the planning process and provide day-of coordination. Leading up to the big day, you can have frequent meetings with the team. They can help with the setup and breakdown of the rental space. Chairs, round, farm, and cocktail tables can be included in your package. Additionally, they can offer stemware, china, floor-length linens, and flatware. Friendly bartenders can serve you beer, wine, and other beverages during your celebration. While your guests enjoy the cocktail hour, you and your partner can have an intimate first meal nestled amongst the vineyards. ectation. The setting is stunning, with the perfect balance of indoor-outdoor charm, surrounded by nature yet beautifully curated for a celebration. It felt so natural and effortless for our guests to move between spaces, and every corner of the property felt inviting and thoughtfully set up.
A special thank you to Amanda, our incredible wedding coordinator. She was truly a dream to work with — kind, responsive, organized, and always a step ahead. She made the entire process feel easy and enjoyable, which is something every couple hopes for when planning a wedding. From the earliest planning stages to the very last moment of our big day, Amanda was calm, helpful, and completely on top of everything. We’re so grateful for her!
And of course, a huge shoutout to Jacque, the amazing owner of Bella Terra. She was warm, welcoming, and so clearly passionate about making every wedding unforgettable. Her kindness and energy set the tone from day one, and you can feel how much love and care she’s poured into the venue.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue — how beautiful it was, how well it was set up, and how smoothly everything flowed. Let me start by saying that this venue is beautiful and our photos were beautiful. The food was also very good. However, there was somehow a “miscommunication.” Two days before my ...
wedding, I got a call about dinner. My DJ (who I cannot recommend enough) figured out that the venue was planning a buffet dinner when it was supposed to be family style. We were assured that this would be taken care of, and not to worry. On the day of our wedding, there were not enough servers for the amount of people that we had, some people had to wait an hour and a half for food, and some people didn’t get sides because there weren’t enough. After planning for about a year, this was disappointing. Communication between the “coordinator” for the venue wasn’t always seamless. We mentioned to their caterer, the coordinator and the venue on numerous occasions that we wanted family style dinner, and the caterer wrote it down. I don’t know how it was missed. And just about everything with this venue is an up-charge. For the amount we spent, the default was going to be paper napkins. I bought my own cloth napkins and they were never returned to me. You have to buy your own plates for cake, there were not enough coffee cups, and they tried to use glassware for hot coffee. When someone asked for a ceramic mug, they were told there weren’t any clean ones. We paid an up-charge for the liquor to be included in the open bar, and they just pushed their wine. It’s a beautiful setting, but the service was not on par for what we paid.
FYI: The minimum amount of guests is 125 and you will be charged for 125 people, even if you only want 120 people at your wedding.
