ed when we were notified that the owners dismissed our Event Manager, a well-respected LGBT+ community advocate who had years of experience, and was the compelling reason we chose the venue. The venue is pricey. The owners were not transparent. They failed to notify us responsibly about the staff change and the cause and timing for the dismissal. Had they done so when they knew well in advance of the 90 day cancellation deadline, we would have only been liable for our $$$$ deposit. We do not have confidence that the current staff/owners have the same caliber of experience. We are now having to scramble to find a new venue and will be liable for a 50% cancellation fee.

staff for making our wedding day even better than we had imagined. Everything ran so smoothly. We loved how everyone worked together so well. You all made it so easy to fully take in and enjoy our special day. Our reception was also just like I had imagined. I love that I got to incorporate my mom in such a special way. The way that her dress was displayed was so beautiful and exactly how I imagined and wanted. The cake table look great too as well as the memorial table and our welcome table. The bar was wonderful as well, and our guests raved about how delicious the wine was. We have a couple of our friends that already booked a wine tasting at the vineyard for next year! We loved the view of the vineyard during the ceremony and pictures. Our friends and family got gorgeous pictures as well. Thank you for reminding us of when the sunset was happening because our photographer got some amazing pictures. The sparkler photo was a lot of fun too, and it got set up so quickly! We are so excited to see how pictures turn out. Sean and I appreciate all of your recommendations to make our day so special. It’s definitely a day that we will never forget.

the country and though we did not get that we had the next best thing! Actually it was even better than an out of country wedding because more of our family and friends could join us! The venue is like a little corner of Italy in the Midwest. We were lined up with our own wedding planner Maren (she is a superstar). She helped get all the details in order, gave great suggestions and made the night run smoothly! They worked great with our other vendors as well including: food, dj, photographer, videographers, hotel and shuttles. The day was beyond anything I could have imagined and my husband and I got to really enjoy every moment because they handled the details. They changed owners from the time we booked and had the wedding but you would have never known, I even heard they had improved a lot of things in that time. Couldn't be more happy with them and would recommend them to anybody! The price tag might seem high at first, but to diy what you get, you would spend double. I do not regret one thing about this venue, staff and bar - they are amazing! The amount of compliments we got about the venue and staff was outstanding! Truly an experience unlike any other. Hope I get to attend a wedding here to see if from the other side but in the meantime we will be enjoying their other events!

bartenders came down with Covid and Rachel not only exceeded our expectations as the wedding planner but also covered the bar throughout the night. I don’t think we can give her enough credit for helping run such a smooth wedding while taking all of the stress away from the bride and groom. You might find more affordable venues, but you’ll have a hard time finding somewhere so beautiful in Nebraska/Iowa with such great service. The dressing rooms and reception hall are setup so perfectly to just enjoy your big day.

A long this wedding planning process I have communicated with countless vendors. They always respond with in 24 to 72 hours. I ended up going with another venue. I just hope for future clients they provide better communication and helpful then they were with us.

While getting ready, they set up all our centerpieces, handled all the vendors (catering, desserts, DJ and photobooth) and offered us drinks! After our ceremony (off site) the whole places was ready when we came back! They made sure my husband and I had everything we needed and made it all soooo easy! Kyle was our attendant the day of and he was AWESOME! Super fun, super chill and made the evening flow so easily. Bella Terre has a special place in my heart and I would encourage every bride considering this venue to go with it!

Then COVID hit and even though the season for weddings & brides was stressful, Bella Terre handled it beautifully! Haley was ALWAYS available to speak to me via her personal number or the venue email. She was in constant communication with me. The day of the wedding it was a bit chaotic and there were just some minor things hiccups such as the complimentary Prosecco not being in the bridal suite during glam time, but other than that Bella Terre was a DREAM to get married at. It is such a beautiful venue. One of their team members, Joey even helped me get my DJ back on track bc he wasn't playing the music we asked for and Joey also helped us set up our sparkler exit! After the wedding we had a minor misunderstanding with our budget/invoice, but again Haley and Maren were open to problem solving whatever hiccup came up. If I could have a party at Bella Terre every year, I would. Overall, the team there is down-to-earth, genuinely caring and know how to throw a great wedding! Highly recommend!

I would not have known to look at Glenwood, IA for our "Omaha" wedding but I am so thankful we did. Our guests raved about the character of the vineyard and the charisma of the staff. We worked a lot with Courtney throughout our planning process as well and I could not believe how thorough they were. They asked questions and had things organized that I didn't even know needed to be done! :) On our wedding night somehow our 1st bottle of champagne was tossed and we didn't get to keep our first bottle. I was a little upset but figured, things happen. Haley sent us another one in the mail and it was so sweet! It was a beautiful bottle and such a great memory of our wedding and I'm happy to have it. s one was a no-brainer. Courtney Smith was more than incredible to work with and I had no worries going into my wedding day of. Everything was flawless and it was all because of Courtney and the team at Bella. Amazing views, amazing service, amazing company overall. Still blown away with how smooth everything went.

rfect. The coordinators worked with the wedding party and our families to make sure things went smoothly, and we still had a chance to get photos outside. Everyone loved the day, and we all had fun, worry free, including our coordinators. The Bride and Groom suites were also an amazing benefit to being in the space. We were able to get ready in almost the same place without seeing each other. It helped with the timeline and communication. I also had my own private bathroom, which was surprisingly helpful. Bella Terre was the first of five venues we toured, and it set the bar. It was beautiful and Hayley was delightful as she showed us the space. We also had the opportunity to show my parents during an Under the Tuscan Sun event. While I am thrilled with how our big day went, I am also happy I get to revisit during the summer months. Thank you to everyone on the staff. It's a beautiful start to what will be a beautiful, long life together.

ion. The key to success for wedding planning is having vendors who actually communicate with you and do so in a timely manner. The team at Bella would respond to me beyond my expectation which in my world was critical. Another important factor is having a vendor who cares about you as a person and respects your day as it is the most important day. Courtney and team went above and beyond the call of duty on this as they made full accommodations for me on my day and the days up to my wedding. The most important factor of a vendor is you should not have to worry about what is going on around you. I moved my entire ceremony space within a couple of hours of my ceremony and I didn't skip a beat because I had full faith in the Bella Terre team. I can go and on but for the sake of space I'll end here. If you want a wonderful day that you will remember as your best day ever, get married here! :)

The quick responses to my questions, all of her recommendations and tips/advice, and her delegating to make our day as smooth as possible were so appreciated. now husband and I got engaged in Venice, Italy and when searching for the perfect venue, we had a hard time determining where, what, etc. Both of our families are scattered throughout the US, and no place felt like "home." I searched "Italian inspired wedding venues in the US" and Bella Terre popped up. Luckily for us, we were visiting my husband's family in Blair, NE within a couple weeks of me finding the venue. We went and toured the venue and met with the Bella Terre team and instantly fell in love with the Italian ambiance, the people, and the location. We got married in September of 2018 and got very lucky with the weather - it was a rainy and cold morning the day of, but right around 3PM it started to warm up and clear up. My side of the family had never been to NE/IA before. We had everyone stay in Old Market Omaha, and bussed everyone in for the ceremony and reception. We received ENDLESS compliments on the venue. The scenery is absolutely stunning - the ceremony site, the fountain, the council bluffs in the background, and the indoor reception hall with a "European feel" were picture-perfect! The Bella Terre team was responsive, accommodating, and our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to them. It was the most perfect day, the most perfect weekend, and we wish that we could do it all over again! HIGHLY recommend this place!

olutely gorgeous. The staff work very hard to keep flowers blooming and the paths in good condition. You won’t be bothered by city noise. On a clear day, you can see for miles as the ceremony site sits on a hill looking toward the East. Guests are allowed to walk the grounds. Nice patio for a break, or through the vineyard during sunset. Amenities: Staff met every request. Water for early arrivals. Escorting late guests. Hookups for sound for the DJ. Setup of all ceremony items (table, mic, etc). Reception Location: Plenty of room for our 200 guests. Separate cake room for dessert display that is very well lit. Separate room for gifts that’s keeps them separate, organized, and locked (if needed). Plenty of space for double sided buffet. The staircase is in-theme and serves as an indoor option for the ceremony. Amenities: Staff met every request. From sharing fridge space to coordinating with the DJ and caterer, the staff go above an beyond. DJ platform is slightly small, but our DJ from Complete didn’t have any issues. Bar: Shout out to the bartenders who worked so hard. Wine selection is very good compared to typical venues. A signature drink (Toast of Italy) or anything your guests desire and the bar staff will have it on hand or craft it. Wedding party suites: the bridal suite is loaded with power outlets and a gorgeous floor to ceiling mirror. Very clean and spacious enough for everyone and their belongings. Groom suite is suitable with chairs, a tv, and anything additional upon request. The bottom line. You’re looking at Bella Terre for its natural beauty and charm. It captures Italian style at every turn. You’ll love celebrating with Belle Terre for the hard working staff and piece of mind that things will run smoothly. The price might seem high, but it’s more than worth every penny compared to every other venue that we looked at around the area.

I also got hundreds of compliments on the venue - people couldn't believe how stunning it was!

into a very Sicilian family. Since I could not take 250 guests to Sicily or Italy- this venue helped me create that ambiance here at home. The creators of this space are talented artists and photographers, and it translated well in their vision of this space. It made us feel as if we were transported to this beautiful region. It also made for breathtaking photography for our big day. Comments we heard repeatedly after our big day were- "Breathtaking," "Elegant," "Classy," "Authentic," "Artistic," "Beautiful Blend of outside and inside venue variety," "The dream wedding site," and our family and friends are still raving about it! She and her assistant handled every detail down to packing up our decorations at the end of the night. They felt more like close friends then wedding assistants! endly and treated my husband and I like celebrities. And then there's Nic, who was the best wedding coordinator we never knew we needed. He accommodated all my unusual requests and made sure everything from making sure my husband and I never saw each other before the ceremony to rearranging tables at the last minute went smoothly. I even found out much later (only by my PA's telling me) that he put out a few fires so to speak while making sure I wouldn't find out so I didn't have to worry about a thing. If you want a location that your guests will talk about for months (I may or may not have cried when I first saw it) and the best wedding staff in the area, I highly suggest you look no further than Bella Terre.

I will continue to recommend this Venue to anyone who has and event they are planning. I also enjoy the environment and atmosphere. When you are here you truly feel that you are in a different world. It is an European escape in the middle of Iowa. I have also attended many of there Under the Tuscan Sundays events and cannot wait to attend more in the future.

Aside from the obvious aesthetic reasons and how it reminded us so much of our beloved Italy, what really hooked us was team running it. First it was Chuck and then Haley and both were absolutely incredible to work with. Their level of accommodation and flexibility was unlike any other venue we visited. They made sure our needs were met, were constantly making sure every detail came out right and managed the actual wedding beautifully. At our wedding we had a live band and DJ, dancing, video presentations, catered food and desserts, shuttles, and a wine bar. Our special day was a once in a lifetime celebration, and because of Bella Terre we will happily remember our wedding day for the rest of our lives!

I love showing people pictures of Bella Terre and hearing them say "You're getting married in Italy?" While I would have loved to travel to Italy for my wedding, that was a little out of the price range and to be perfectly honest, I don't think I would have found a venue that is the complete package like Bella Terre. Everything flows nicely and if there is an issue Chuck takes care of it. They say something (at least one thing) will go wrong at your wedding, well if anything went wrong, it was handled and I have no idea. I was able to fully enjoy my wedding to the man of my dreams at the location of my dreams. If you are looking for a venue with beauty, charm and a true WOW factor, Bella Terre is for you!

her couples using this venue is to make sure your gift attendants are very attentive because the gift room isn't noticeable to guests so we had some searching for a gift attendant or where to put cards, gifts, etc.
