Bella Unique Weddings and Designs

We hired Bella Unique to be the day of coordinator for our good friend's wedding on March 29th. The night before the wedding she text the bride and said that her babysitter backed out but she found another person who could watch her child for half a day and then asked to leave the wedding at 5. The bride said no and that she needed her there all day so the owner said that was fine and she would be there. Well, at 5:48 am on the day of the wedding, the owner text the bride and said that she couldn't come due to a death in the fam but her assistant would be there, fine. Well, the assistant was a no show and we couldn't get either of them (owner or assistant) to answer their phones. Finally, the owner TEXT us back saying that the assistant wasn't answering but was there at 8:30 even though no one at the venue site ever saw her. Needless to say, the poor groom had to go and set everything up instead of enjoying his day like we had planned for them. Luckily, we have an awesome group of friends and they have a great family and they all pulled together to get it all set up. On to the next headache, so we told the owner that we wanted a full refund and she said it would take 2-4 weeks to get it well, I sent her a certified letter of breach of contract and arranged payment plans since she didn't even have the money to pay us back. Needless to say, she couldn't even hold up that agreement due a change in payroll at her job so again, I agreed for her to pay me at a later date and what do you know? Something else has come up and now we have to wait until a later date to pay us the full refund. I will say that she has paid back some of the money and she has been responsive for the most part but it's June now (a little more than 2 mos later) and we still haven't been able to give our friends a gift bc we spent it on her services that were never even provided to us or the bride and groom.
