This venue puts on a great front at first. We had the wedding paid off months early, then they let us know a month later there was a deposit. Gave us two different amounts when que...
stioned. Day before the wedding we drop off decor per instructed and already paid extra for them to “decorate and set up.” They were supposed to let us know the night before if they had a podium, did not. They were supposed to send pictures of their setting up the night before for us to approve, sent one picture of a half empty table. Day of wedding, the “event coordinator” sat on her phone in the corner the whole time and did not direct or set up, doors were not locked and guests were not directed where to enter, and were coming in the door we were supposed to have privacy in.
This venue isn’t accepting any accountability whatsoever and this is a preacher and his wife that are refusing to compensate us on the lack of coordinating and decorating we were forced to pay extra for, otherwise they charge more to give any extra time for us to do that ourselves. Such a dishonest place and I will be warning other people about this dishonest place. The fact they won’t reimburse us for that “coordinator” and are playing dumb about it, I will be warning others not to use this venue or attend their “church”. We are extremely disappointed in everything and this girl ruined our wedding day.
If you are an upcoming bride, RUN from this place!!! Renting this venue was the wost decision of my entire wedding planning and if I could only pick one thing to change it would be...
NOT PICKING BELLA VIE.
1. communication is horrible, no one knows whats going on there, staff is not in correlation with one another whats so ever
2. I rented the place for 150 guests but was told 2 months before my wedding when I sat down with one of the coordinators, that they could only seat 130 comfortably....
2. They claim they are apart of the church and the renting of the venue supports their expenses HOWEVER I caught them lying about this multiple times and I have text proof of them attempting to change my chairs and back ground becuase they "belonged to the church which was completely seperate from the venue" but when I first toured the sales pitch was that the espenses help the church and mission expenses??
3. Invoice issues, I have an accounting background and I kept noting that my invoices were increasing over time as if it was accumulating interest, then I noticed a "credit card fee" that kept fluxating and get this, it wasnt a third party charging the sketchy fee it was them manually editing the invoice. AND my payments were being made in cash so why was this fee on there in the first place?
4. They kept my deposit because they found a vape, and vaping is against their rules. When I asked for a picture they blocked me and then cashed my $1000 check. Oh and they tried using my wedding as content and they blocked me on social media as well LOL
TRASH PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. NOT TO MENTION THE CLEANLINESS OF THIS PLACE, TOILETS NOT WORKING, OVERGFLOWING TRASH CANS, SMALL PARKING LOT ( ANOTHER THING WE WERE LIED TO ABOUT, THEY TOLD US BY THE TIME WE HAD OUR WEDDING THE PARKING LOT WOULD BE EXTENDED, THAT WAS A LIE) THE HORRIBLE HVAC SYSTEM THEY HAVE, THE CLUELESS OWNER AND STAFF MEMBER THAT WAS LEFT AS A VENUE COORDINATOR COULD NOT EVEN PULL BACK BLINDS, SECURITY HAD TO HELP CAUSING ME TO GO DOWN THE ISLE AT THE WRONG TIME.
I COULD GO ON AND ON. there are so many other kind, legit venues to go with in lubbock. I would recommend anywhere else!
