Bella Zoom Photography

I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience using this photographer. Of note, this photographer came into my home and interacted with my family, unmasked, although she is not vaccinated, which she did not disclose before. I hired this owner/photographer for an extended family 25th Wedding Anniversary photo session, complete with wearing my OG gown. The shoot was myself and husband, my 2 adult children, my parents and my brother. I thought her prices were very expensive, but I hired her on a friend's recommendation but, I guess she has different prices for different people. She gave me $50 off her published prices for a photo shoot of 8. Of course, she did not disclose she was unvaccinated when she accepted my deposit, or wear a mask at any point during the shoot. I am very high risk, which she was aware of and my parents are advanced in age. The owner and photographer showed up with no lighting, screens or preparation. All photos were taken on an iPhone, and nothing else, she wore a camera around her neck, which she did not use. Occasionally using as a prop, snapping without aiming or focusing. After the shoot, with NO warning, I was sent a bill for DOUBLE what we agreed, because she said it went over the allotted one hour, although this was never mentioned. I have all correspondence in writing. She also spent a great deal of that time, scouting locations (although I asked her to stop by to see the backdrops before), socializing, taking a tour of my home, and asking many personal questions, all of while billing me for her time. I did not find her creative, she showed us pictures on her assistant, her iPhone, to emulate. She did not take the groupings of family I asked for, for example; myself, my brother and our parents. I also asked for the photos NOT to be unloaded to SmugMug, just the high resolution proofs on a thumb drive, and she disrespected my wishes regarding my digital footprint. Did I mention, she charged me DOUBLE?! I found this photographer VERY expensive, unprofessional and uncreative. I do not care for the iPhone photos; if I had wanted a photo shoot on an iPhone I would have asked a friend. All in all a terrible, very experience for my special wedding anniversary, that I can not recreate. And, whatever price you agree to, be prepared for it to double without warning.
