Bellagala DJs + Lighting

We got a DJ for our wedding from Bellegala, Will Langason. He was incredible!! Super easy to work with and went above and beyond to give us the wedding of our dreams!!

Daniel was a fantastic DJ for our wedding day! He was great at helping us build out our playlist and keeping the dance floor all night long. He was also knowledgeable and helped our first time officiant feel comfortable in the process.

Originally wasn’t going to do a review but I’m still upset. Wedding from 10/05/24 and they only refunded us 50% and I have had so many people that attended the wedding tell me I should have gotten a FULL refund for what I had to go through. So even from the start we had some issues with bellagala/Rose our DJ. We had scheduled our call with her a couple weeks before the wedding and she told us we still needed to fill out some profile on bellagala. Which we then did. And then she kept telling us it showed we didn’t fill it out yet. Anyhow I don’t know if that was her fault or not but I would email her back asking for status on the profile and trying to understand what she was trying to say we still needed to fill out. And there would be long delays in her reply. Then we got to like 4 days before the wedding and still had no phone call with her to go over the wedding ceremony details and reception, and I had to email her asking to just call us even though she said we didn’t fill out the necessary profile. We then had our phone call on Wednesday 10/02 and that went great. I thought she handled it well and she told me she was going to show up Saturday around 2pm. Well then Saturday comes and we are all busy taking family photos and at 3:15 we notice she has not arrived yet. And mind you, I had my phone on me the entire day in case someone needed to reach me for any reason. No phone call or text from her saying she was running late. I call her twice, leave a voicemail, and text her wondering where she is. No response at all. Then I leave gabby/bellagala a voicemail. This was 30-40 min before our ceremony where she was supposed to have supplied us with the microphone and music for the ceremony. So my entire family and friends are all scrambling to find microphones and speakers to use last minute. Multiple djs were reached out to since we had no reply. Then bellagala calls me back which I appreciate you sending out the backup DJ but he arrived at 5:15pm. My fiancé and I had to have a ceremony with NO microphone or speaker so it was silent. Not exactly what we had in mind when we had planned our day. Not to mention all the last minute stress we had to deal with. Him and I were all over the place along with our family and friends trying to figure out what we could do. 4pm arrived and we just decided to screw it and do the ceremony without the microphone and speakers. I will say that Dylan the backup DJ was very professional and he did great. He stayed as late as we wanted. And had to work under the pressure of having no info as to what we wanted so the entire night Alex and I had to keep going up to him telling him what we needed done, and he did it. But had this been a planned DJ like we paid for then we wouldn’t have had to deal with any of the last minute scrambles. It made the night kind of stressful. We had so many people say we handled it greatly and were impressed with us but what else could we honestly do. So like I said, we really liked Dylan and he did great, but ultimately Rose not showing up made the rest of our night kinda a clusterfuck and we would like ALL of our money back just for what we had to go through. I don’t think it is fair we had to go through that on our special day.

Daniel was amazing!! The music was absolutely perfect the whole night, he really captured the vibe that we were going for and everyone had so much fun dancing all night! His vibrant and fun personality was adored by everyone and he really made our wedding day special and unforgettable. Thank you so much Daniel!

Kris was amazing!! Our original DJ had a family emergency so Kris stepped in to save the day! I chatted with him prior to our wedding to ensure the different songs we wanted were played. He was so great to work with! Every song was played exactly how we wanted it to be and he helped make our reception a real dance party!! I would recommend Kris to anyone who loves to dance for their wedding DJ!!

Hey Jocelyn, We just wanted to reach out to let you know we were blown away by your professionalism and DJ skills for our wedding! We were nervous and overwhelmed trying to choose all the music, but you helped guide us through planning and made it fun! We thought it was awesome that you liked EDM and helped us incorporate it into our special night. You did a fantastic job at creating a Playlist for an older and younger audience and filtering out our guests crazy song requests. Not only did you nail the music, you also rocked at the other dj responsibilities. Microphone handoffs were easy and without any issues. Your announcements were clear and provided us relief from the clinking glasses, so we could actually eat our dinner. Of course, our reception wouldn't have been as big of a hit without your incredible job mixing the acoustic and original mixes of our favorite song for our first dance. I cannot recommend DJ Daniel P enough! His energy and humor were a joy to be around during both the planning and the day of the event. During the planning stage we had some questions and options we needed to decide between (from things as simple as microphone logistics between toasts based on our floor plan to how best to shorten our first dance songs) Daniel offered valuable guidance based on his experience and everything went perfectly day-of. We talked through our preferences for the day and he stuck by them to the letter. He also checked in with us at multiple points throughout the night to make sure we were happy with how things were going. We had ~170 guests and our dance floor was busy the entire night! There were no lulls, and he shifted with the energy perfectly throughout the night. We're still getting comments from guests about how the music, energy and dancefloor environment were the best they've seen and I think that is in no small part due to Daniel being our DJ. If you have the option- book him for your wedding!!

We had DJ Andrew with Bellagala and he was great! I was a little unorganized at the start, but he was patient and answered all of my questions through email (even though the answers were clearly worded on the website). He checked in with us frequently throughout the event and was kind and easy-going. Bellagala was so easy to use, I highly recommend!

We LOVED working with Chesica! She communicated with us so well before the event, played all of our requests (no matter how off-the-wall they were), and played a crucial role in creating a great atmosphere for our guests. We also appreciated how well she directed the flow of the day and handled the logistical aspects of our wedding. The day went so smoothly, and Chesica is a huge reason why. Many of our guests told us this was the best DJ-d wedding they’d ever attended, and I would have to agree. Highly recommend her services.

Our DJ Daniel P. was amazing!!! I would highly recommend him for your event!! We had 160 people and the dance floor was packed all night long! He had a great selection of music and played all of our suggested songs! He also kept the night moving perfectly by coordinating with all of our event staff for our wedding!

Chesica was an AMAZING DJ that really brought my vision to life when I told her the type of vibe I wanted to have at my wedding. On top of that, she is such a lovely person to get to know. She makes you feel like she’s known you forever and truly wants to make your day as amazing as possible. I could not have asked for a better DJ experience!!

Shane from Bellagala DJ was AMAZING!!! Our dancefloor was packed all night!! We told him the types of music we both like, and he sprinkled them together flawlessly while also adding in the classics to keep the dancefloor busy all night! We had multiple guests tell us he was the best wedding DJ they’d ever seen, and we couldn’t agree more! The Van Dusen seems like a difficult venue for a DJ as they have to move to many different rooms through the night, but Shane executed flawlessly and was the kindest and easiest person to work with!

Chesica was an absolute blast to work with and helped us every step of the way. She kept the crowd engaged and made our wedding even more perfect. We will be reaching out should we need a DJ for anything else.

We hired Bellagala for our wedding DJ and moved forward with Derek C. Derek absolutely surpassed every expectation we had and genuinely cared about our wedding day vision. We could not have asked for more on our wedding day! We highly recommend Derek!

Our wedding DJ this past weekend was Daniel P, and he made our night so much fun! He was very organized during the planning process, took notes of all our plans and preferences, executed them perfectly during the wedding, communicated well with us & venue staff & other vendors during the night, and kept the dance floor grooving, smiling, and laughing all evening. He truly embodies one of his favorite words (awesome-sauce).

Our DJ was Shane Johnson and he was great! He played the music we wanted to hear, and was able to mix in a lot of different music through the night.

Chinemerem was amazing! He fully listened to what we wanted and the music for our special day was perfect.

We had Marcus or DJ Northstar as our wedding DJ and he was the best!! He was so kind and warm and kept the dance floor going all night! We received many compliments on his music choices and could not have been happier that he was our wedding DJ! We would HIGHLY recommend Marcus for your wedding festivities.

Shane Johnson with Bellagala was our DJ and I can't recommend him enough!! We had a very specific vision for our wedding day dance floor and he totally understood the assignment and exceeded our expectations. He was responsive, professional, and fun to work with during the planning process and on our big day! Shane will not let you down!

We had Shane as our DJ and we couldn't have been happier with him! He was extremely easy to work with, very communicative in the planning process as well as the day of, and he kept a really solid group of people on the dance floor all night. The night of the wedding, he did a great job keeping the night flowing by communicating with our guests exactly what was going on, and introducing speeches, the shoe game, and our grand exit. Our DJ, Daniel P, was AMAZING! we had our first call with him very shortly after booking, and he gave us a very detailed list of questions for us as a couple to think about. This was so helpful because as a couple planning a wedding, its hard to know what you don't know. He reached out to us a month or two before the wedding and had a second final meeting with us just to confirm details. He was super prompt, organized, and FUN! Additionally, he did our ceremony and he really helped organize the processional for the wedding party and made our day as the couple so much less stressful. He is a total pro and played the best music all night. I would recommend him over and over and over again! Thank you Daniel P :)

Tre was our dj and he did a phenomenal job! He was so easy to work with prior to the wedding. He was very thorough to make sure he had all the details ahead of time. The day of the wedding he came nice and early to set up. The speeches we hear very clearly during dinner. He played everything we wanted, and kept the party going all night. We didn't have one minute without someone on the dance floor. He was amazing, and I would suggest to anyone to book with him!

Tre was great and did everything we asked of him. He was super friendly and was great with communication. He did two phone calls before the wedding, one a few weeks before the wedding and one a couple days before the wedding to make sure that we had everything figured out and to answer any last minute questions. Bellagala was one of the first companies I looked at when I started planning and they had a special going on at the beginning of the year so I was a little nervous because of the stories I read about different companies, but Bellagala was great and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them and DJ Tre!

Daniel showed genuine excitement to play his part in our wedding day. We had special requests that he was attentive and receptive to. We accidentally sent him the wrong song for the bride to walk down the aisle. However, Daniel double checked with us one more time prior to the ceremony and we recognized the issue. He saved the day, and we are forever grateful.

Daniel M. executed everything we asked for and was a great DJ to have at our wedding! I definitely recommend hiring him for your DJ needs.

Chinemerem was AMAZING!! From the pre planning phone calls to text messages and updates all leading up to the day of, he was so wonderful to work with! I had a couple changes along the way and he was so flexible to work with and made sure he understood exactly what I was envisioning and absolutely NAILED it all!! He interacted with our guests and made sure everyone had the best time! I left the ball in his court to make decisions on music as well and he did NOT disappoint! Would definitely have him DJ again for any event! Thank you again!!!

We worked with Shane at Bellagala for our wedding and he was wonderful! He made our reception so fun and there were people on the dance floor for the entire night. Shane was super helpful throughout the planning process and met with us multiple times before the wedding to make sure that everything was exactly what we wanted. Great experience, thanks Shane!

Our DJ Daniel P did a fantastic job for our wedding! His communication was great, and he made everything very smooth, organized, and easy for us. We were getting many compliments on the music during our cocktail hour and dinner reception, and all we gave Daniel was a general theme and style and he took it from there. His MC work was equally as great, and he went over each piece during the night and made sure everyone knew where they needed to be and what to do! The dancing music had everyone up and moving, transitions between songs were awesome, and he was quick to read the vibe and make sure to move on from songs that were not always connecting. Could not recommend more!

RJ did a great job as our wedding DJ. He met with us several times and helped determine our music and lighting preferences. In the areas where we did not provide as much detail, he did a great job filling in gaps to have a smooth and cohesive experience. RJ clearly excels at getting people to dance. He quickly determined what kinds of music got our crowd dancing and put together a great set. We're very happy with the professional services we received and the high quality lighting and audio at our wedding.

DJ Daniel was AMAZING! He made sure all our DJ dreams came true! We got to many compliments on the music that was played (mostly picked out by Daniel!). He was awesome at helping us plan for our wedding. He told us that he’s got this from the very start and he did not disappoint! Daniel checked in with us at times during the day asking if there was anything we wanted changed about the music or to keep the vibe going and that was so great of him. He was great at making sure speeches were on time, getting people on the dance floor, and keeping the party going! We enjoyed Daniel so much and recommend him 100x over!

Daniel Paszak was our DJ and was everything we could have asked for! He was so fun to work with and helped us create memories that will last a lifetime. He was always very intentional about ensuring our vision would come to life and made sure we were comfortable with every single detail. He did an amazing job the day of our wedding and you can tell he is really passionate about what he does. His ability to read the room, transition, and even add some extra flare on some of the songs really sets him apart from your average wedding DJ. Thanks again Daniel!

Our experience was not good. First off, communication is horrible. I had to reach out to them to figure out who we were assigned for the wedding. Then, I had to reach out to the DJ to get in touch with him even though I was told he’d contact me. We spent time creating our playlists for the whole wedding, and when the DJ and I connected, he told me he could see all the music and we were good. 30 mins prior to ceremony start time, our DJ told me he had everything but the ceremony music. PANIC. I quickly gave it to him and went over it all, and it was still not right. No music was played during our social hour. The DJ was very nice, but it really put a damper on the day.

Andrew M with Bellagala was our DJ on our big day. He was great! We had no idea what to expect but even on our phone call a couple days before the wedding he made us feel so much better giving us a rundown of what the day would entail and a good idea of music choices. I remember him saying he has done over 500 weddings which is impressive and it shows! It is a great feeling when 5 strangers can come together for one day and work together so well making a great day happen! He had all of our song choices perfectly queued and ready to go. Thank you Andrew for helping to make our day perfect!

Jocelyn A. was our Bellagala DJ, and she nailed it. Having never worked with a DJ directly before, it was excellent that she made time for us (she proactively reached out!) to meet each other and get a feeling for our musical tastes. She wanted to know if we already came with some ideas, which she would eagerly incorporate, or if we needed help making the decisions from top to bottom. She was willing and eager in either direction. We had some ideas of what we wanted, so we shared the vision with her, including samples, and also listed multiple obscure song requests that were important for us to play on the dance floor. She was able to locate them all, and that's amazing. On the day of, she handled all her duties wonderfully, with a smile, and she was very respective of all the details we planned out together. In other words, she stayed true to the plan in a way that followed our themes and requests, yet also seamlessly weaved in tunes that matched based on her own judgment. Everything was great! We can't overlook that part of her responsibilities was to facilitate some announcements and also handle the audio for speeches. This went extremely well!

Our DJ was AWESOME! Marcus was very laid back but also brought so much fun and energy to our day. He did great at checking in with us before the wedding and made sure all of our songs were the correct version. He was so friendly and interactive with our guests. It made all the difference.

Daniel was FANTASTIC!!!!! As the day went on we had to adjust some things and he was great with offering suggestions. The song choices he played were great! I was rarely off the dance floor and rarely was there not a lot of people dancing! I recommend him 100%!!!

Our wedding Dj was amazing he did everything we could want and more. He read the audience played great music interacted with the crowd. Was respectful and he took the time to plan everything according to our needs.

Aaron was our DJ and he was fantastic!! After we had a little bit of a fiasco with the company itself and some lack of communication, we got Aaron as your DJ and he was the absolute best. He reached out to us right away to go over everything and listened to us and what we wanted. He communicated so well and went above and beyond from showing up way early to the ceremony and checking in with us throughout the day to make sure everything was perfect. Aaron had the dance floor bumping all night and was so much fun! If you want a party, Aaron is your guy!

We were honored to have Gerald help us on our special day! He checked off all the boxes we wanted and then some. He was able to keep the party grooving all night long! Bellagala really made everything easy every step of the way!

Tre was amazing! His communication ahead of time was great, we had multiple phone calls to go over details and the day of he checked in several times to make sure things went smoothly and on time. He kept the dance floor going all night. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

Our DJ was Roberto who was hired through Bellagala. We were not able to get in contact with him until wedding week and even then, planning went well. Wedding day was not so great though. Unfortunately, I felt he was unprepared and did not fit into our day well. During our phone consultation early in wedding week we walked through all of the details from when things were supposed to happen down to name pronunciation of each member of our wedding party. On wedding day, although he had a diagram of the table layout, he struggled to release tables correctly and eventually my Maid of Honor stepped in and released them. He did not play song requests even when requested by my husband and I. The dance floor was very hit and miss and was only busy when he finally played our requested songs. If I had to pick a DJ I honestly think I would have picked someone else.

We had Jocelyn Alberts as our DJ. She was AMAZING. Her communication was impeccable and I loved her personality. She's so fun and outgoing, very easy to get along with and very approachable. She definitely made it a memorable night! THANK YOU JOCELYN! You rock!

Our DJ for our wedding was Tre. He was the absolute best! From our meetings beforehand to the end of the night, he was extremely easy to work with. He got all of our guests on the dance floor & had an awesome play list! His communication with us, our photographer, and our venue was top notch. I would highly recommended him for any event you have & we will definitely be recommending him to everyone we know. Thank you again Tre!! -Matt & Katie Baker
