They recommended shots we didn't even know we wanted, complimented us on our posing, helped manage the stress of wrangling family members for portraits, and faded to the background to take more photos when that was appropriate. While we had some difficulty getting our videographer assigned (not until the week before the wedding), once we got in contact with Brandon Tucker, everything went smoothly. He was respectful and polite throughout the day, came with all of the necessary equipment, and was unintrusive to our guests. He made sure to ask the day of if there were any special moments or items we would want video of. Overall, we were very happy with all of our services through Bellagala!

She went above and beyond to make it a great day for us-even helping bustle my dress when my bridesmaids and I were struggling haha. He also had a professional, friendly demeanor that put us and our bridal party at ease, with great ideas of creative shots. She even helped guests, a friend of mine was safety pinning her dress with her (slightly clueless) husband, and Katie hopped in to help her with her dress. She was amazing. Abdulla was our videographer and I have nothing but good things to say about him as well. He took every opportunity to get shots and made us laugh throughout it. Having Katie C, Ian and Abdulla there was amazing for us and I couldn't have chose a better crew for out day!

ent. The photographer seemed very prepared, organized, and experienced. She was so nice and had multiple calls with us. Then, day off, she showed up with a melancholy assistant who I later saw sitting in a corner at my reception with her fingers in her ears. I have no idea what to make of that. I thought the photos would be great. Everything felt fine. She said they were great. She suggested a great location bc it rained. We were so happy. Then I saw them. I thought there had to be a mistake. They were so dark and full of shadows. I figured they were sent before edits. I was so embarrassed to show them to my husband and our family. I reached out to my bellagala contact, Jessica Ramaker, and she sent them for lightening. They are now better but some photos still have shadows across some peoples faces (in the posed photos!). Then I tried to order. I spent hours picking photos and sizes. The order appeared to go through but it didn’t. I tried again. No luck. I contacted Jessica again and she sent me a zip file of my photos so I could “order prints elsewhere if the gallery keeps acting ridiculous.” I certainly am grateful she gave me downloads. Jessica was likely as helpful as she could have possibly been through all this. She always got back to me quickly, BUT the website is awful!!! I honestly wasn’t going to post a review because I just want this behind me, but tonight I received a delivery from bellagala. It’s someone else’s wedding photo prints!!! I cannot let this go without warning you all of the MESS I have witnessed.

. We planned our Michigan wedding from out of state. We really appreciated that Katie personally reached out and set up a Zoom call to get to know us, and help plan for the big day. On the day of the wedding, Katie and Hannah were amazing at herding our family and friends into beautiful photos. They also took a ton of creative shots with my wife and I that we are extremely excited to see. Katie was also great at keeping the day moving forward so that we didn’t need to focus on the time. It was almost like having an extra wedding coordinator. Katie saved the day at one point when one of our bridesmaid’s dress’ hem came undone. Katie busted out her personal sewing kit that she brought for emergencies and fixed her dress. When you go with Katie Compo and her team, you’re getting an incredible photographer, a bonus coordinator, an emergency seamstress, and a friend. We are incredibly thankful to her and her staff for helping to make our day so special.

professional and WOW the pictures!! My husband and I couldn't be happier with how they all came out. She didn't pressure us to take hours' worth of photos and we had some really wonderful candid shots that surprised me and made me tear up a little. I can't express how wonderful Katie was to work with she's a true artist you can't go wrong with Bellagalla or Katie Compo! Hire her (and use Bellagalla if they're offering a package) if you still haven't found a photographer.

nd remember our day, so we'd try to save some money. We got A LOT of great photos! We received our photos after only 2 weeks (they tell you 4-6). I had a guest photo that I didn't receive originally, but I asked for it and they gave me 8 more photos within a couple of days. They also are so friendly and have a great contract and work with you. A couple of downsides: My groom and I both asked about clearing the backgrounds in our photos and were told it wouldn't matter, but we are disappointed in those photos. The getting ready photos have some random things in the background that don't look good, and more importantly, our bridal party is all over the background of all of our first look photos. Jeff C told me to wait in the car and someone would come and get me for the first look photos, so I did, but no one came, so we wasted about 15 minutes there. He also told us a couple times at the reception to get ready for the next thing, and then when we were ready we couldn't find him. However, nothing caused anything more than minor glitches in our day, and overall he did help it run smoothly. We were comfortable taking pictures with him and he did a decent amount of directing us to make sure they turned out well. He also helped us plan our day and it worked out. We communicated with him about which group photos we wanted, but I suggest taking time to really think through who and how you want the group, after-ceremony shots and tell all your people very clearly! Don't leave this for your photographer to guess. Family might try to leave or talk too much and it slows you down. I'm not blaming this on our photographer, though! Anyway, we highly recommend Bellagala and Jeff for great, timely photos at a good price!

Katie and Matt completely blew our expectations out of the water. We could not have asked for better photographers. /smoking instead of getting the requested candids. The photos she chose for our set were lazy and blurry. Now, 9 weeks after my wedding, I’m waiting to hear from someone about my photos. The initial set I was given had about 300 photos, with the remaining 400 that we paid for being repeats. Photos of my bridesmaids in the middle of eating while getting ready or blinking. Tons of photos of the food and my mother zipping up my dress, and only 5 of my guests dancing/candids. When confronting the business about this I’ve only received rude remarks such as, “you never specified you wanted photos of your guests”... what?!? Absolutely ridiculous, would not suggest, completely disappointed in the photos when I should be elated with wonderful memories.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing pictures she captured throughout the day. She took us hiking around the venue property (outdoor barn wedding) and found some beautiful locations and took a lot of extremely creative pictures. We plan on using Kirsten for any future event photographer needs that we have and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.
