All of our guests told us how much they liked her. We got our photos back much faster than we had anticipated and they all look amazing. She even made a point to get some portraits of our couple friends that I can’t wait to share with them. We are already interested in having her come photograph our next event.

re all our guests were captured looking their best and didn’t leave anyone out. She kept us on schedule making sure we got all the photos with the best lighting as the sun was setting. Turn around time was quicker than we thought for the final portfolio. She smoothed our some suit photos upon request as well. I recommend Julie for anyone who is looking for a photographer for a big wedding or small wedding. Shes a master at her craft and did a wonderful job.

Jessica helped me sort out my timeline to make the most of my day and time with her, admittedly the timeline I sent was a mess and would have wasted a lot of time and I can not be more thankful she helped me rework it. On the day of she was punctual with arrival but flexible with the photo timeline as the day and weather unfolded. She truly captured all of the photos we wanted and so much more. She was especially amazing with our two year old who was overly tired at parts of the day but Jessica got down on her level and helped her through what we could but totally rolled with the punches when nap time was needed during family portraits. I am also not the most comfortable being the center of attention or in front of the camera all day but she is so easy to work with even the portraits felt natural. I can not recommend her for your wedding photography needs enough.

nce we had a package deal with Bavaria Downs, they supplied another photographer – Jessica – who saved the day! Jessica called me on my way over to the venue and was so friendly. She fit right into the wedding group and came very prepared. Just before the wedding ceremony took place, we found out the second photographer did not show up due to an emergency, as well, so Jessica worked extra hard to make sure each moment we wanted was captured. Even though my husband and I aren’t naturally very photogenic, Jessica made us (and everyone in our wedding party) feel comfortable in front of the lens. She captured each moment, each emotion…and our pictures turned out beautifully.

Very unfortunate that they hold these photos and videos hostage until you pay them more. I would not recommend them purely on the way they run their business. The photographers and videographers are completely separate from Bellagala and I was happy with thier work.

o do my June wedding. She was the second tier photographer so even paid extra to hire her. She was great for our engagement session. Day off she seemed helpful and said everything looked great. She had an assistant with her who was kind of strange. Maybe her daughter? She was really quiet and at one point during our reception she was in a corner with her hands over her ears… not something I was going to deal with when I’m supposed to hosting the biggest party of my life. Anyways, I thought it was fine, but then I got my photos. They were so dark - over-exposed - and had shadows over people’s faces. They are awful! And she didn’t even get a pic with just bride and groom at the church! I reached out to bellagala and they lightened them a bit, but didn’t fix the shadows or help focus the blurry ones. Then I had to deal with bellgala’s awful website. It is so hard to use. I took hours picking out pictures to download (because you have to pay for digital files), and it didn’t work! Weeks passed and my gallery was going to expire. I reached out to bellagala and they were great and gave me a zip file of my images and even encouraged me to shop for prints elsewhere (!!). More weeks passed and I was still in the midst of trying to find some app to help with edits when I got a delivery in the mail. It was someone else’s photos, like a lot of photos, they had obviously paid a lot for them. Absolutely ridiculous! They also seemed dark and out of focus, by the way. Then all these charges hit my credit card from all the attempts I had made to download my photos. They were all refunded after I reached out to bellagala but this is a disaster. I picked Bellagala because it’s a big company so I thought that would protect me more, but keep in mind, customer service only gets you so far with photos. They could refund all my money (which they haven’t) but I still won’t have my photos - memories of my wedding. I am devastated. Do not hire Merry Ohler. Do not hire Bellagala. They are not professionals. I could’ve done the same with an iPhone.

The return time on the photography was also fast! (We had an October wedding, just keep in mind.) We were very happy with Jessica, and will recommend her to anyone asking!

Rebecca and Jill worked together and how in sync they were was way more than I could have imagined. Jill was fantastic, put up with my husband's goofy side and his friends and had some great input. Our photos turned out so much better than I ever imagined! I will definitely keep Rebecca, Jill and Bellagala in my thoughts for the next time I need photography and for any friends.

Jessica S. went above and beyond to make sure my daughters wedding was spectacular. Despite never meeting Jessica, she made us feel like we have known her forever. She was so patient and kind with the wedding party and with my daughter. She saved the day! Our second photographer did not show up due to an emergency as well so Jessica S had to work extra hard to make sure we got all the photos. They turned out wonderful. Thank you for making my daughters wedding so special and for saving the day! I would recommend you to anyone.

the expected schedule of the day in our first meeting which let us get a very good understanding of what our day would look like, and could plan accordingly. On the day itself, he showed up on-time and got right to work. In-fact, his second shooter did not arrive on time due to a some confusion, but it was hardly noticeable. We were able to get all the shots we wanted anyway. Andrew is very knowledgeable in his craft and did a very good job of giving direction on positioning, location, and group composition. A lot of positive reinforcement was given as well which helped us relax and feel more natural. Throughout the day he did a good job of splitting up our couple shots to ensure we had a variety of location, background and lighting to work with. During the ceremony Andrew did a good job of working his way around the guests and alter to ensure he got good photos but while remaining out of sight of most guests. Andrew also worked seamlessly with our videographer. I have great confidence in the result and am very excited to see our photos. I would 100% recommend Andrew for friends and family's events.

were great about reassigning someone to me and made the whole transition pretty painless. John Kiene was my photographer and he was absolutely the best. He got great shots and knew what he was doing so we could maximize our time. Our videographer, Connor Einfalt, didn’t get assigned to us until about a month before but he was great and super nice in person. I really enjoyed having them there for our big day.

Abby for being a part of our special day’

off our photographer was 30 minutes late which is super stressful on the day because all the bridesmaids had hair/makeup done and were sitting and waiting for the photographer before we could do anything. Then we were rushed for taking getting ready photos and subsequent wedding party photos after. Once we got our photos back, they looked horrible/ unprofessional. They do not edit the photos at all. I received photos with the 2nd shooter in them, horrible shadows/ glare, were not cropped, light from the flash of the camera in the background of photos. They did not even fix the red eye on me, the BRIDE. Our photos from golden hour have no sunlight in the back, even though there was a GORGEOUS sunset that night. My friend took a photo of us on her Iphone while the photographer was taking our golden hour photos. My friends Iphone photo looks way better than anything Bellagala sent us. I called to complain and the woman on the phone was super nice and tried to help, but they do not have editing in their contract... it is an additional cost (which they did not tell me about even when I complained about the quality photo). We now have to send some of our photos to an editing site (seriously nothing was of use before) and this is costing us ~1200 for 45 photos. It is costing more because they are having to edit out Bellagala's mistakes (like having the 2nd shooter in the photo). I am not the first to complain about these issues either! Extremely disappointed do not use!

llison Million was INCREDIBLE. She went above and beyond - from texting me the week of my wedding, to checking on me throughout my wedding day, busselling my dress, fixing my hair, making sure my train laid perfect in all of my photos. She felt like a dear friend by the end of the night. Her camera also shoots with incredible quality. Allison also likes to feature natural elements in the scenery (greenery, flowers, architecture etc). I am super happy with Allison and would book her 1000 times over. :) My one caviat about Bellagala photography is that they have a "signature" photo editing filter. The photographers send the photos to a 3rd party that edits all of the photos with this filter. I wish that they would allow couples more of a say as to how they would like the style of their photos to be edited.

Kathy was amazing as well, I would find her around every corner capturing beauriful candid pictures and she always had something sweet to say to us while we were all nervous and emotional. The Bellagala Team gave us our pictures before we expected and were quick answering our questions as well. d loved that he shoots weddings there often, and was familiar with many good photo ops! He had a lot of fun ideas for photos and we are very excited to see them. My one complaint is that Bellagala doesn't let us get much of a preview of either our engagement shoot or our wedding photos. We had/have to wait 4-6 weeks for photos which is a bummer and longer than some other photographers that my friends have worked with for their weddings. However, my review is still 5 stars because this doesn't reflect on Andrew or his photography skills!

And finally, the photos arrived via email link very quickly, but don’t expect any beautiful “photo shop” type edits to be made. Many photos have messy backgrounds , or hair/vail out of place, etc and no editing is done other than “color correcting and straitening”. Very disappointing considering how much was spent on the photographer! He want the not most expensive photographer they offered but he wasn’t cheap either, and having Bellagala get such raving reviews on line we expected better.

They gave us so many amazing posed photos, while also catching the "in-between" moments when nobody was posing but special moments were captured. We're so happy with our photos!

exible.  We got married in April in Minnesota where the weather was consistently unpredictable.  Jessica remained calm, professional and made the entire process enjoyable.  She can read emotions and worked with us and with family/friends to not let the pictures run the day, but to let the day lead and the pictures capture the memories. My husband and I felt like supermodels by the end of the night with how much fun we had taking our photos. She was able to beautifully capture real moments of emotion throughout our entire wedding day.  She has an eye for lovely photos, dynamic backgrounds and the ability to strategically capture emotion.  Our photos are true treasures and we couldn't be more grateful to her for capturing the best day ever!

We booked with them in 2020 (thanks covid wedding planning...), and they were helpful and highly communicative throughout the two years leading up to the wedding in 2022. Our initial photographer quit doing wedding photography in 2021, and Bellagala introduced us to Aubrey who ended up being a perfect fit for us. Great company, great photographers!

Jocelyn, our DJ, was flexible and able to reschedule, and when Rachel wasn't also able to photograph our celebration, she recommended someone else.
