She is extremely organized, has an eye for detail, and has so much experience that she brings to the table. When we were talking about how many guests we invited, she gave us her estimate of how many people would come based on that; and she nailed it within 4 people of our final RSVPs. She recommended the most fabulous makeup artist, a great baker that saved us money on the cake, and Ivory Grace also does floral and design! So not only was she our wedding planner, she was also our florist...and she literally made my Pinterest board come to life. I was absolutely floored. It was perfect, and Angela was worth every penny. If you are on the fence about whether or not to hire a wedding planner, I promise you will be so happy you did!

creative talent are top notch! She remained poised and professional and navigated us smoothly through a few twists and turns. It rained unexpectedly on our wedding day and she seamlessly moved the ceremony indoors. It was so seamless that most didn’t even realize it was supposed to be outdoors. She was exactly the calming presence I needed in the days leading up. And on the big day, I was able to get pretty and pampered without worrying about a single thing. Literally. She was such a joy to work with that I truly missed her after our wedding was over. She’s incredibly professional but also friendly, fun, and kind. We all loved her! She’s worth every penny and probably saved us as much or more with her connections. Highly recommend!

Once we sat down and created a timeline we were so much more organized and had a much easier time keeping track of what needed to be done and when. During the week before and on the day of the wedding, she made sure everything moved smoothly, keeping track of time and taking care of all the little details. We, our wedding party, and our parents could focus on getting ready and having a good time while she handled setup and coordinating with the catering, DJ, and photographer. All of our guests said it was the most fun, laid back, and beautiful wedding they had been to, and the majority of the credit goes to Angela at Ivory Grace Events! I cannot sing her praises enough! In the beginning we figured if there happened to be rain at our outdoor wedding (there was) it would be nice to have someone else to make adjustments, but we quickly realized she was going to be super helpful rain or shine! When our wedding day came, it was obvious by how smoothly things went that she had a hand in everything all day. We can't thank her enough, and we are so happy we decided to hire a coordinator. us on schedule and had amazing ideas. On the day of the wedding IvoryGraceEventPlanning handled all the small details-- we were able to "take in the wedding" as it was happening. The reception and decorations were exactly what we wanted (AND MORE!), it was beautiful. During the planning process I know many brides and mothers get wires crossed but the way Angela handles things it was FUN. For an example of handling everything: There was no way the wedding dress could have been worn with out a hoop skirt. Our daughter had been wearing the hoop skirt for "first dance" and "father/daughter" dance practice for a few weeks and had been carrying it around in her car . The day of the wedding after everyone but the bride was dressed, my daughter realizes she forgot her hoop skirt (in her car in another city!). Before my daughter could even look like she might cry, Angela said "Oh, I got this, not a problem". One phone call and 5 minute car trip later in came a slip from a vendor Angela had worked with before. I am afraid had IvoryGracePlanning not been there the bride and/or mother of the bride might have cried. During the reception they continued to handle everything. My husband and I got to talk and spend time with family and friends who came so far for the wedding. The fact they we could be attentive to our daughter and guests was special that day - only because Angela and Brie we handling everything else. When I say they handled everything I don't mean that they did everything asked of them - I mean they did everything BEFORE I knew it even should be done! AND they did it well! I have to admit that our daughter's wedding is the best wedding we have been to (our own included LOL). It was amazingly beautifully decorated, well scheduled, everyone ate, drank, danced and had a great time. Even the most critical relatives were impressed!! Planning a wedding is something that needs to be left to the professionals. IvoryGracePlanning really made the day.

She was always there to help, researched the various vendors for me and found me the best deals possible. The amount of work (leg-work and constant speaking and e-mailing) she has to do far outweighs her very reasonable charges. Angela is always on top of everything. Twice the staff, at the hotel, that was our venue, got changed, and twice she started from scratch with the new staff, and explained to them everything that was needed, and put up the most magnificent show. This was a multicultural wedding, so 5 ceremonies (including 2 weddings - a Catholic wedding and a Hindu wedding) had to be held in a span of 1.5 (one and a half) days. And she did it!!! And she did it with great aplomb. All our guests were very impressed, and said it was the most well organized, well thought out, detailed wedding they have ever been to.

Angela listened to what we wanted and created our dream day. ing at a bourbon distillery in Kentucky (we currently live in Chicago) and we COULD NOT have pulled it off without her. She provided an amazing timeline that we both were able to edit and update as plans were in place. Living in Chicago, we looked to her first and foremost for referrals. She made excellent recommendations and best of all-- she was honest, straightforward and pragmatic with every decision, question/answer and detail. IGEP also set up our reception room by dropping tablecloths, placing centerpieces, flowers, table assignments, gift/card table, guestbook table, beverage station, etc. The room was perfection! We welcomed her executive decisions while trusting she would honor all the details that were important to us. She really took the time to get to know us so she was better able to coordinate. Angela held the reigns while we sat back and enjoyed the once-in-a-lifetime party we planned. Our day went by seamlessly- a beautiful dizzy memory of laughter, smiles and love (and bourbon).
