Belle Mariee Artistry-- on location hair and makeup

The Belle Mariee girls are 5 stars, all the way! I had the pleasure of working with Ashley and Joy for hair and makeup for both bridal portraits as well as our wedding day. In addition, they did both mother's hair and makeup, and most bridesmaids hair and makeup. They did a KNOCK OUT JOB! I was so in love with my look for the day and felt beautiful! My hair and makeup lasted all night long, and into brunch the next morning :) I shed a lot of tears on our emotional day, but my makeup still rocked. I cut a rug on the dancefloor, but my hair stayed perfectly in place. Belle Mariee is hands down WONDERFUL! I loved working with these girls and will most definitely recommend them to any other bride looking for quality service!

Ashley and her assistant were a pleasure to work with and made me and my matron of honor look our absolute best. They were very receptive to feedback and had this tremendous ability to turn a few spurious thoughts and pictures from magazines into a beautiful look. Her hair sewing technique was very unique and innovative and I never once worried about my hair while dancing! Ashley and her team were incredibly friendly and I am so glad she was able to book me, rather last minute before taking time off for maternity leave. I would have hated to miss out on her talent! I would highly recommend Bell Mariee to anyone looking for Hair & Makeup assistance on their wedding day.

Ashley and her assistant did a wonderful job with makeup and hair for me, my Mom and one of my bridesmaids as well as hair for another bridesmaid. Ashley was incredibly easy to talk to and work with and we all enjoyed having her around while we were getting ready. (She has great taste in music, too!) :) I was incredibly glad I did a trial run since I wasn't 100% clear on what I wanted, but what came out of the trial was definitely not it! Better then than on the wedding day! Ashley graciously accepted all of my feedback and had me check the look step by step on the day of so what resulted on the actual wedding day was wonderful! My mom also felt like she did not look like herself when she first saw the results of her makeup and hair by Ashley's assistant on the day of, but was able to point out a couple of specific things she didn't care for and Ashley's assistant was happy to make changes until my Mom was happy! The bridesmaids both looked gorgeous and were thrilled with what they had done from the start! Of the three people I contacted to ask about hair and makeup, Ashley was the only one who seemed truly ok with not using airbrush makeup on me. Everyone else who heard that I don't care for the look still tried to convince me that it was the only way to go. I think they may have been worried that I wouldn't be happy with the results or staying power of anything else but I knew from what I used for our engagement photos that I would be perfectly happy with my non-airbrush makeup again. I just didn't want to take 3 hours and stress about doing it myself and I definitely needed someone else to do my hair! My makeup looked great all night and I never had to touch up or blot. My hair also stayed perfectly in place all night even after switching out my veil for a flower comb after the ceremony. Thank you, Ashley, for doing a wonderful job and helping me, my Mom and bridesmaids look and feel beautiful on my wedding day!

Ashley is incredible. She is talented beyond words and has an excellent eye for all things pretty and beautiful. Which is exactly how I felt on my wedding day with the fabulous look she gave me! I loved my updo so much that I left it up for almost a week following the wedding day- and no- it was plastered with hairspray. Ashley just did a fantastic job in keeping my hair in place mainly by a threading technique. Aside from her talent with hair, she is super kind and sweet and easy to communicate with! Everyone loved her as well- my matron of honor, house party and mom all had their hair done with Ashley- they were all blown away!
