Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery is a wedding venue located in Nashville, TN. Couples can take advantage of this 30-acre property to celebrate their coming together. With a multitude of indoor and outdoor spaces, this truly is a blank canvas to paint a picture of marital bliss.
The Boxwood Garden is ideal for an outdoor ceremony. The landscape is well-maintained and features concrete paths and built-in stone benches. The site can accommodate 200 of your nearest and dearest as you exchange vows. The Carriage House has an outdoor games court and cocktail area where you and your guests can retire to have fun or get the party started. Sip on house beverages while playing ball, horseshoes, corn hole, or croquet. After mingling during cocktail hour, your nearest and dearest can retreat to the tented event space to share a wedding feast. There is also a get-ready room on the grounds so you can your wedding party can prepare for the big day.
The Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery team offers different services to bring to life the wedding of your dreams. A dedicated venue supervisor will be present throughout the day to ensure your day goes seamlessly. They can also take care of the setup and cleanup and will be able to provide tables and chairs for the event. Additionally, the venue has an open vendor policy allowing you to choose who gets to be a part of your wedding day. They allow year-round access to the estate while booking an event at this location so as to coordinate details better with their vendors. There is ample parking available so that everyone you love can give their blessing on such an important day.

The venue itself was perfect for our wedding! We loved having all parts of the wedding at one place but also in different locations throughout the venue. The box garden was a dream in early May! The tent made a perfect place for dinner! And dancing the night away in the Carriage House will hold special memories in our hearts forever!

nt. Hannah was fantastic, and I would trust her enough to do it all again! The ONLY downside is set up doesn’t start before 3:00 pm. Without a coordinator, this becomes a task for a small army. But we did it and experienced an unforgettable evening! Our reception dining was prepared by Cathy’s Sugar & Spice. They offered a great variety, assisted in set up/break down, and even packed a dinner for the couple’s next meal. It was so delicious. I would recommend every bride with any budget check them out!

The magnificent lush grounds, the ample carriage house with its porches and breezeways, the romantic stables and the patio with its stone bar and many lawn games makes for many spaces for guests to gather and provides a variety of photo ops. You get all 30+ acres to enjoy, you get a party tent and tables and chairs included with the price. The venue also has nice rain plan options which is key. For the money, I believe there is no better deal in this area. The venue coordinator is easy to work with and was onsite during the wedding. Most importantly, our bride and groom were thrilled with the day, our family was very pleased, and I truly believe all the guests loved it.

magical. The greenery makes you feel like you are in a movie scene. The whole property makes for stunning backdrops for your photos and the layout is perfect for the flow of the evening too. Ceremony flows to cocktail hour, which flows to dinner, which flows to the dancing area. Our vendors were fan favorites of this too because it allows them to break down the areas not being used anymore, without disturbing guests. Now for the team at Belle Meade, Hannah is incredible! I worked with her for nearly 2 years and she answered all of my questions and made everything so seamless. She also went out of her way to help coordinate and plan things with me throughout my planning process. My husband and I could not be happier with how things turned out. I can not recommend this venue enough! I am positive you will not be disappointed!

I wanted to get married—largely because of how wonderful she was.
We didn’t even have an official tour scheduled; we were just walking around on our own when Hannah happened to see us. She came over, introduced herself, and answered all of our questions, even though we didn’t have an appointment. I ended up booking the venue the very next day!
Throughout the entire planning process, Hannah was incredibly helpful. Her insight and experience were unmatched, and she guided us every step of the way. On the wedding day itself, Hannah and her team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She was there making sure every detail was taken care of and that our guests were comfortable. The day felt truly seamless thanks to her.
I also loved that Belle Meade allowed us to book our own vendors, so we were able to choose exactly who we wanted to work with. For everything that’s included, the venue is very reasonably priced—and having access to the entire property made it even more special.
I can’t recommend Belle Meade Historic Site and Hannah’s team enough!

It rained during the ceremony and while trees provided decent coverage for the guests, the Belle Meade team stepped up along with our planner to quickly provide (cute) umbrellas for me and the Groom. I would recommend this venue to anyone who's thinking about booking any event at Belle Meade!

arden. It was breathtaking and I got goosebumps just thinking of the day. While we weren't restricted to use a specific list of vendors, our event lead gave us great recommendations, many of whom we ended up using (including our planning company!). I loved that there were 4 separate areas available to sue: ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception, so flipping the space wasn't necessary. It was a beautiful combination of outdoor garden and inside venue (tent with walls and carriage house), and tables, chairs, and tent were included with total cost of rental. Everyone commented on how gorgeous the venue was - we were so thrilled. The one caveat that you're well aware of when you tour/book the venue is that your ceremony can't start prior to 5:30 because it is open to the public until 5pm. They do a very good job making sure everyone who is not there for the wedding is off the property by the time it all gets underway though, and we didn't mind others seeing us take pictures before hand.

o humid in there that there was black mold on the ceiling. While the guys were in the much cooler stables with a comfy couch. There was also nothing keeping the drunk obnoxious tourists away from us and some even had the audacity to beg my fiancé to stay at our wedding and crash it! The tourists were still there after closing at 5pm. There were no signs letting people who came there as guests, wedding, party, and vendors where to go.

The new stone reception site was the absolute perfect backdrop, even on a dreary/rainy Saturday. The stone path and benches kept our guests dry and out of the mud. (A big plus considering the rain stopped right before the ceremony and would were about to use the garden as planned!) The stable was the perfect space for our smaller, more intimate reception dinner. We had originally planned for the tent with a bigger group, but the space and multiple venues within Belle Meade allowed us to reconfigure. While the stable wasn’t our original plan, I can’t imagine our wedding any other day! Overall it was our dream come true in great part to Belle Meade. 10/10 would recommend!

have indoor as well as outdoor options for the ceremony since the weather fluctuates so much that time of year. My daughter really wanted to have the wedding in the garden which worked out since the weather turned out perfectly. But we had no worries because the backup indoor plan was the quaint, romantic stable. The carriage house was beautiful for the reception and comfortably allowed for dinner and dancing for all our guests. The place can accommodate a large number of guests yet still feel intimate for a smaller wedding too. Everything flowed beautifully as the ceremony and reception sites were close to each other. Most of the guests, many from out of town, enjoyed checking out the grounds a little early before the ceremony started. We had so many compliments from guests on the venue and the beauty of the grounds. There are so many beautiful spots for pictures ranging from the bridge and creek to the garden and the mansion itself. The venue adds an elegant touch to the trend of the rustic barn theme. The fact that the place is a historical landmark makes it even more special, and I have no doubt my daughter and son in law will visit it often in years to come. I highly recommend this venue to any couples whether local or looking for a Nashville destination wedding!

ce they don't allow vendors to start set up until 3 so hiring a wedding planner who knows the venue well was key and Linda even had a list to provide of those that she recommended! The proximity to downtown Nashville was perfect for our guests who wanted to continue the party downtown after the reception. If you're looking for an ideal outdoor wedding venue, look no further than Belle Meade!

cktail hour space with yard games is perfect for entertaining guests during bridal party pictures. The grounds offer plenty of scenic spots to get really great photographs, there is really no need to go anywhere else. I loved how the carriage house allowed the party to take place both indoors and outdoors. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the entire property is and that it is one of the best wedding venues they'd seen. The staff was very responsive and helpful with the planning process and making sure the property was looking perfect the day of. We are so happy with our choice to host our wedding at Belle Meade, it was a dream!

ful, we didnt need anything else. Also it was all shade because of the large trees so even though it was hot the guests were comfortable because of the shade.

This venue was elegant, beautiful, intimate and absolutely perfect!!! I have heard from just about every guest that this was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to.

I would not have changed one thing about my wedding day, except for making it last longer! We had the venue from 5-11 for our wedding, and right at 10:30 (when the DJ had to stop p...
laying music due to a "noise ordinance" in the area)the vendors and workers all started packing things up. We felt rushed to leave and so did our guests. For what we paid for the venue, you would have expected us to have it the ENTIRE time before clean- up began at 11:30. Other than that, the venue is gorgeous and we had our ceremony in the garden which was absolutely perfect as well. Beautiful, pricy place, but well worth it!
